This is a shooting game which is similar to Egg-Venture (EV) and Metro Police Trainer (MPT). Eventhough I wrote this FAQ, this is a basic guide for this game (what it is, how did you do this, etc..) This is NOT a guide on how to shoot for accuracy (it may play a part on this game), better shooting tips, etc. Each person has their own style on how to do it. If you want to contribute about this, you can e-mail me and I'll add it to this FAQ. This game is a fun game from the serious to kids wanted to shoot things. The bad part is when you need to pay to play. If you are into shooting fun things, then this is the game for you. This game is similar to MPT and EV where you shoot different things for practice and/or accuracy. This is a shooting type of game. For me personally, this is better than EV, with over 50 stages that you can play in. There are variety of things that you can shoot rather than shooting eggs most of the time. You don't have to "RELOAD" every time although some stages you only have a limited number of bullets available. When you hit an item, it will show the word "HIT" on the lower side of the screen. Player 1 is RED so in stages where you need to shoot your own color, do so. Player 2 is BLUE " " " " " " " " " " " " ". You can also tell by the color of your gun. This is the same color used in determine what player in Leathel Enforcers, Area 51, etc.. Shoot the wrong color, you will lose a life, and 1 pt. taken off your shooting total. Explain more below (see Lose Life section). Ranking ------- What ranking? Unlike other games, there is NO ranking on what level you are (like Novice, expert, etc.) The only ranking is the Level in the scoring section. Novice is 300 points added to every stage played in addition to your score. Beginner is 600 points added and Expert is 900 points. Scoring ------- Scoring may very. I can't determine how the scoring is done. If you can help, let me know and I'll put it here. Lose Life --------- Like EV, I should say lose points instead of lives because people won't shoot at you (lose energy), but I'm saying because I'm used to it (when playing Maximum Force, Revolution X, etc). You will see the number of lives on the upper left or right hand corner of the screen. Those are hearts. If you accidentally shoot someone, or the wrong color, wrong item, etc. you will hear a buzzer, and/or a "NO!" sign. That means, you made a mistake and it will cost you and you will lose 1pt from the quota which is similar to MPT (in MPT you will lose the same number of points that you earned if you committed an error). Unlike EV, this is harder. You will lose a life for every mistake that you committed. You will lose a life when_____ -You did NOT meet quota (target number) -You accidently shot an innocent person -During a matching game, you shot the wrong one -You shot the wrong color -You did not follow directions correctly -You did not prevent a person from being bitten by a wild animal -Boss hits you with an object* -You have not met the basic requirements to successfully complete the activity *If boss hits you x times, game is over (unless you want to continue). x-when boss hits you a number of times, it will take away 1 life. Lose all lives, game over. So you will need to be careful. Lose all lives (3-5), game is over (unless you want to continue). You can lose all lives in one setting for not doing well. When you lose a life, it will tell you what went wrong. The default is 3 lives. Your operater can alter this (up to 5 lives). Start of Game ------------- When you start your game, you can choose which level you want. Training (Novice), Beginner, Expert. -Training (Novice)- You get to choose 2 boxes which is 8 activities. No hard ones, just basic stuff. After that, GAME OVER. -Beginner- You get to choose 4 boxes which is 16 activites. At the end, you will get to shoot against the boss. -Expert- You got to choose 6 boxes which is 24 activites. This is harder. Timing is shorter and you need good skills and accuracy. After you choose your skill level, you will choose one box out of the 56 boxes. If you don't choose one of the 56 boxes within 3 sec. then boxes will explode so you only see about 1/2 the usual number and a box random will be done for you. Once you choose 1 of the 56 boxes, or a random, it will display one of the 4 activities to choose from. Shoot the one that you want. If you pass the quota or when you have met the basic requirements regardless of accidental shots, you will see a yellow happy face indicated that you completed that one successfully. If you did not meet the quota and/or have not met the basic requirements, you will see a sad purple face which means you did not do well in that area. Each one is different from the other. If you completed 4 areas and still have a life, then you will go on to choose another unknown box and do another 4, complete, choose, complete another 4, etc. Each time, you choose a new box, you do the activities at random. Some might be the same as you did in the previous one, others are different or new. In Beginner or Expert mode, there are times when you go to the bonus round. In the bonus round, you will do different things. You won't lose a life, this is fun exercise. Each bonus round is different so I'm NOT going to tell you what they are. The object of playing is to have fun, and to try to earn an extra life (unless, you maxed out which is 3 or 4). When you choose an activity that you would like to do, there are pictures that may give an idea on what are you going to do. All activities are timed. You have a certain amount of time to shoot different things. The time is indicated on top center of the screen. When you have chosen an activity, you will give a set of instructions on what to shoot and what not to shoot. Some stages you may need to shoot certain things in order to meet the requirements (like shoot all the grapes for example). You are given a quota (if any) which how many objects that you need to shoot/hit and you try to reach that goal. You will also be given how many bullets available. Usually it's infinite. If you have taken mathematics, you should know what it looks like cause I can't explain it well on paper. It will give you 3-5 seconds to make sure you got the message. You can start right away by pressing the Start button. Some stages/activities you will see are marked VERY HARD. That means it takes more skill and/or timing in order to fulfill the requirement. You will not be able to do these in Novice. When selecting it, it will warn you that they activity is VERY HARD. You will not going to see a picture of what activity just a word. Get your mind ready for it. When time ran out or a man got bitten by a wild animal, you will see the results, the instructions on what you're supposed to do, the number of mistakes you have comitted, and the lives lost (if any) and your score. Hope that you don't make any mishaps. After that it will show you_____ [Hits]-Number of shots [hit %]-% of accuracy Level Overall Score Total Score Number of hits -- how may shots that you comitted. % Accuracy -- Max is 99.9% I don't know why. This shows how well you did it. Level -- Your skill level Overall Score -- Total Score from this activity. Total Score -- Total score so far for this game. (added from Overall Score) Note: In stages where you try to save man from wild animals, but you can't and got bitten, the man will jump up, you will see a big head as he goes towards the screen and hits bottom, presumeably dead. What a loss.. You will lose 1 life. Quota ----- Not all stages have quotas, but most do. You should try to reach that goal to fulfill the requirement. Most of the quota in this game is easy to achieve. However, in 2 player games, or in hard activities, it may not be as easy as you might think. Just try your best. You will not hear a sound indicating that you passed, just keep shooting until the time ran out or you have completed it successfully. Don't worry about quota, or at least, keep it at the back of your mind and try your best. 2 Player Game ------------- In a 2 player game, the quota is usually 1/2 the usual quota except for stages/activities that ask for you do something else (shoot the target to blow up a balloon for example) or you are trying to save a man from wild animals. [I'm checking on 1/2 quota cause I'm not sure about it]. When scores are added, the person who has the most points in each stage, you will see a person what is happy while the loser cries and their heart was broken. You will see a count of who won what in each stage similar to Bust-A-Move/Bubble Bobble (In PB, score determines who won in a 2 player match). You will follow the same rules as in a one player game. Remember to watch the screen carefully. If you lose all lives game is over. You DON'T lose a life if you completed it successfuly, but lost in a 2 player battle. In case of a tie, both players will be awarded 1 point. Final Stage With Boss --------------------- After you completed a number of stages in Beginner/Expert mode, you will have a chance to have a final bout with the boss. It is hard to explain what the boss looks like. Its a circular shape with a face in the middle. You have 45 seconds in beginner mode to defeat the boss. In Expert mode, you have 35 seconds to defeat the boss. Your job is to shoot it til he dies. The red bar at the bottom is the life meter of the boss and hopefully it is zero when you finish. It would be more helpful for 2 players. As it moves around, the boss will throw rocks and other objects at you. Shoot them as well. After many hits, boss is dead, game finished, let the credits roll... NOTE: you cannot fight against the boss in Training (Novice) mode. You only get to do 8 stages. After that, it will ask you to go to one of the harder modes, then game ends. Hall of Fame ------------ Top 10 scores will put their initials on it. Stages/Activites ---------------- There are 52 stages/activities that you may need to do. I don't know if I want to list all 52 because it takes too long....You may NOT need to do all 52, just enough to go to the final stage which is a boss. Remember, ALL stages are timed. [Some stages I made up names, but the action is real]. Grapes Shoot all grapes within the time allotted. If you don't, boo hiss to you. Jack-In-A-Box Jack, the clown, pops out from the box. Shoot the heads with the color of your side. Blue is player 2 while red is player 1. Shoot the wrong color, you're SOL. Remember, you will lose a life for every mistake you comitted. Big and Small There are smiley faces in different sizes. The smaller they are, the higher the points (250). Your job is to earn ______ points. Simple, right? Train As the train goes by, shoot the appropiate color. Be careful, it turn to an opposite color and you could make commit an error. Spiders Shoot 32 spiders. Pretty easy. Rat gets the Cheese You will see swiss cheese and rats will come out of the holes. Shoot the rat that corresponds with your color. Dial a phone. You will see the digits 0-9 around as you would see in a rotary phone. Match the number to what you see so if you see "81," shoot "8", "1". Remember, you will lose a 1 life per mistake that you committed. Fence Post As you go along side the fence, shoot the objects that you see on top. Do not shoot the bombs. If you do, it will explode, plus you will lose a point for this. Police Target You have 5 shots. Aim for the center. Pump Balloon You Shoot your color to get to the top of the meter. If you did it successfuly, the balloon will blow up and explode. Easy.... Foxes and Road Runners Shoot foxes and road runners. Once in a while you will see a road runner running accross the screen in the back. What am I holding? The Desert scene, you will see a cowboy with hands in his back. As he sticks out a color, shoot your color. If you accidently shot the wrong color, it's your fault. Traffic Light Matching Shoot the object that matches what it has shown so if you see red, shoot red, green arrow, then you shoot green arrow. Shoot the wrong one, you will be sorry. Highway Sign Matching The traffic signs are moving. Match the sign on what is displayed. Hope that it is the right one. Save the Army Base Shoot as many explosives as you can to pervent them from entering the Army Base. It's a little tough, but can you do it? Help Me! A man is trying to run anay from the animals, you will need to shoot ALL animals that are chasing him. If one animal bit him, ouch! Haunted House (Ghosts) Shoot the ghosts. Ghost will come from all different directions including some from the house itself. Aligator Eggs This stage is tough. You will need to shoot 9 aligators. First, you shoot the eggs, then if it is a baby aligator, shoot it. If it is a small yellow chick (chicken), don't shoot it, or you will be clobbered. Musical Notes Shoot your own color as the notes goes by the staff. Simple huh? Alley You will see a brick wall on both sides of the screen. Shoot your own color as it moves by. Simon Says (Brick) Shoot the brick that is highlighted by a yellow box. It will hit if you shoot the right one. If not, it won't budge. You will see a picture of what's behind it if you shoot all (it's very interesting). 4th of July/Happy New Year It's nightime. On a clear night, you will see fireworks shooting from all different directions. Shoot the fireworks. Bad Guys in a Mind Shaft As the mind cart goes by, shoot the bad guys. Don't shoot any innocent people, otherwise, you will be terminated. Crooks on a Wire You will see bad guys traveling on a wire. Shoot them as they try to go to the other site. Do not shoot any innocent people otherwise, you will be subject to disiplinary action (lose a life). Jungle Fruit It's a jungle out there. There are 2 barrells, one on each side. As the barrells goes up an down, fruit is coming out. Shoot the fruit. Ninja It's nighttime in an Asian country. You are on a rooftop of a house or a building and ninjas jump up from the bottom as they try to attack you. Shoot them before they catch you. Rock Slide Rocks are falling down from the hills to the ground. The man is in between the mountains (valley). Your job is the shoot the bolders before it hits the ground. You have 30 seconds to do this. You will do this til when time is up or when the bolders hit the person below (ouch!). If that happens (ouch!), you will lose 1 life. That's it for now. Enjoy the game.
