It was translated and changed so that it would meet the requirements of PSX. It's a large game and has many challenges and is quite difficult at certain points. A: I changed my mind. Well this is still a GameFAQs Exclusice guide however I decided to do a guide for the sequel Grandia II. I decided to come out of retirement to do that guide and I will stay an active FAQ writer, it revitalized me. I needed some time away from active contributing to realize that contributing is what I want to do. I love writing FAQs and helping people, although this game is old and rare it has helped others and I bless it for that. It will remain an exclusice because I want it to be an exclusive, because I feel everyone should write a GameFAQs . COM exclusive once in a while :) Q1: Is there any ultra fast way to raise magic or weapons!? A1: Yes, well I couldn't find too many ways with weapons besides just using them in tough battles. With magic just target large groups of enemies fight near save points and wail away with the magic you need to raise with the character you are trying to raise. With water, in a place like Warped Time Space there is an arm thing there that will keep attacking you. Simply let it attack you cure with magic then refresh your magic at the save point. Q2: I can't find Tentz!? A2: There's a small gate there he is standing in the doorway. This place is hard to see no matter how many times you turn the camera. There should be house with an arrow on it pointing towards him. Q3: Who has the key to the Cafe!? A3: A man in Green at the docks, he complains about having to wash the dishes. Q4: Is it worth it to use Mana Eggs on Sue? A4: Yes, because you get enough Mana Eggs for every character assuming that you find all the eggs. Besides her magic levels will go to another character making it a good deal for her to use magic and make sure her weapons and magic levels are reasonably high. Q5: What's a good way to get a lot of money fast? A5: Bags and pots of gold are literally every where. You'll always find them by re-exploring dungeons. Plus when you get into random battles enemies usually drop gold. Q6: Should I buy new weapons and armor since I find a lot of it in dungeons? A6: Hmmm, Yes it is worth it to buy new weapons and armor. Just don't over do it. Does Justin need every sword the game has to offer? If you have Justin Rapp and Guido in the party should you but a sword for each of them? No! When weapons can be shared just by one. Whoever needs the weapon for a new killer should use it. Then pass the weapon down. Q7: I forgot to get the Stashed Items out of Justin's house did I lose them forever!? A7: No, the stash place is like a universal portal. No matter where you go in the game those items will be in another stashing place. Q8: Is there any possible way to use Leen or Rem when they tag along with the party? A8: From where I see it, no. They have no use they simply follow the party they can't fight along with you. Q9: If I were to give different answers to Feena to show that I didn't like her would that alter the game anyhow? A9: From where I see it no. It doesn't seem to have any effect to what you say to Feena or just about any character for that matter. Even saying the wrong answer gives you "another chance" to pick the alternative answer. Q10: Is there anyway to get that water wind spell with Feena! A10: It's possible it's just not easy. You can gameshark to see the spell the spell isn't worth the MP you have to waste to cast it. If you're a completist go for it. Patience is key for a detailed break down on how to get it look at Dalez's Grandia FAQ. Q11: How come I can get all the magic back when a character leaves the party? Like when Sue left she had level 7 Magic and i didn't get 7 levels worth? A11: The game will only give you magic that you haven't obtained. So when Sue leaves if you're a level 5 water you will only gain two levels. For the best results have no one use the magic that way Sue is gaining levels for that person. Q12: Are there any hidden characters in the game? A12: None that I heard of Q13: Is there anyway to get the characters that left to return? A13: No, once they're permanently gone they're gone. Q14: All the characters keep leaving what’s the sense of leveling these characters!? A14: Think of it this way, you're going to need the characters for the time being make full use of them. Of course 4 of the 8 Playable characters leave the game, but this game isn't big on leveling up. Q15: Your levels are way low and you wrote a FAQ! You're a lame RPGer! A15: The Levels are "Way low" on purpose. Most FAQ Writers fabricate the levels their characters have. This game especially isn't based on high levels. It's more important to gain a lot of magic and killers since that raises your stats. So I wanted to show the people reading this that high levels aren't important. Example If I have a level 70 Justin who never equipped anything but a sword is this an "Efficient" Justin. Of course not he has next to any killers, albeit he is probably pretty good but he lacks. A level 32 Justin who leveled up all his weapons and most of his magic is more efficient. The Killer System was design so you can evenly level magic and weapons. Maxing out your killers on a weapon minded character like Justin is what makes this game beatable. The intro will show along with some cool cinema. Then you will see an airship onboard will be an old man named General Baal, he is with his son Colonel Mullen and Colonel Mullen's aide-de-camp Lieutenant Leen. General Ball will speak of excavating Sult Ruins, which are near the town of Parm. Then you will see a young girl running through the town of Parm. Then you will hear some fighting sounds and an older man will be kicking a young boy out of his house. The young boy is looking for treasure but all he could find was junk in the man's house. The young boy is named Justin, and he is the hero of the story. The young girl is named Sue and she is like Justin's little sister. Sue fount treasure the large ribbon on Sue's head is named Puffy, it helped her find the treasure. The treasure is Legendary Armor. But the legendary armor appears to be only a dirty apron. Sue will tell Justin that they need to find a Shield of Light, a Warrior's Helmet, and a Spirit Sword. Justin is currently in a duel with a boy named Gantz and he has to find these things before sundown or Sue will have to marry Gantz and be in his gang. Now you will gain control of the two. I'm only going to say this once: ALL DIRECTIONS ARE ASSUMED THAT THE CAMERA IS FACING THE NORTH. MOST OF THE TIME I WILL SAY WHAT DIRECTION YOU GO BUT OTHER TIMES I MIGHT SAY RIGHT OR LEFT FOR INSTANCE. NORTH IS THE RED PART OF THE COMPASS. Speak to Gantz, Gantz will berate Justin, until Justin shows him the Legendary Armor. Gantz will also offer tips listen to them. Ok first find the Warriors helmet go west along the railing until you find a set of stairs. Descend them and keep going to the west you will see a battered pot and that's the Warrior's Helmet. Once you have it return to Gantz and speak to him. He will tell you to find the Shield of Light first. Now go north and into the port. Once you are in the port continue going north and around the building to the west. Leaning against the building is a pot lid. That's the Shield of Light. Return to town and see Gantz once again. Then speak to him once more and he will tell you that the Spirit Sword is in his house in the locked chest but you won't find the key. Ok leaves Gantz go west then go north and the second house on the left side is Gantz's. Speak to his mother and she will tell you that he gave the key to his younger brother Tentz. You may have ran into Tentz earlier he was the snot nose boy who ran every time he saw you. Leave Gantz's house go south then go to the west you will see a house with a sign on it. Now go southwest and in an alley is a small boy. That's Tentz, speak to him he's crying, tell him "No Way I'm telling Gantz". He will slip up and tell you that he lost the key to the chest. You will have to look for it. Go south and in the middle of the railing is the key. When you find Tentz will come over and thank you. Gantz told Tentz not to give the key to Justin but he will give it to you anyway because you helped him find it. Tentz will invite you over to his house, now go back to Gantz house and go inside and go to the chest. Justin will open the chest and inside will be the Spirit Sword (Wooden Sword). Equip it to Justin if you like and go towards where Gantz and the gang were. A man named Greg is chewing out Gantz for blocking the bridge to the other side of town. Sue suggests just walking by slowly and they won't be seen. Greg will see Justin and Sue and ask if they were playing with Gantz. Justin will deny it and Gantz will tell Greg that they were having a duel. Justin decides it's better to get out of there. Justin and Sue run back to Justin's house. When you are inside speak to Justin's mother who is in the kitchen. She will be mad at Justin for tracking dirt on the kitchen floor. She will whack him with a pan, funny stuff. Anyway speak to Lilly again. She will want to know what Justin was doing all day. Answer the top 2 and that gets Justin whacked. The last one the blatant lie will get Justin whacked but it will also grant you your first meal segment. A meal segment is where the characters speak about the forthcoming events and there next move. If you played Breath of Fire III or IV this is sort of like speaking to your party during camp. During the segment Lilly will tell Justin that the curator from the museum wishes to see him about an item Justin left with him. The item Justin left is the Spirit Stone. Lilly also regales a tale of her youth she was a pirate who went by the name of Lilly the Skull. After you are done speaking and everyone is repeating themselves end this by saying you are full. The next morning you will be in Justin's room. Sue will come in and join the party. Search his room for a first aid kit, 100 gold pcs and an antidote. Leave his room, when you are in the family's living room notice the shining purse. That is a stash spot, these stash spots work like the large chests in Resident Evil. Meaning that if you leave something here you can recover it at any other stash spot. You should stash the stuff you found during the duel since it's not as strong as your initial equipment. Go downstairs to the Seagull Restaurant and speak to Lilly to save. Now leave the restaurant once you are back in town go southeast and you will come upon a large building that is the museum. Go inside speak to the people and go to the Exhibit Hall. Speak to the man near the statue that's the curator. The curator has just finished restoring an Icarian statue. Justin and the Curator will discuss the Angelou civilization and the myths surrounding it. The Curator will also mention that the results on the so-called Spirit Stone are inclusive. He couldn't cut the stone so he couldn't tell if it was real or not. The curator will give Justin back the stone since he can not test it himself. The curator will tell Justin to find out if it's real or not and to meet him in his office to discuss this further. When you gain control examine the statue, Justin will be fantasizing about upcoming adventures and accidentally break the statue. Justin will try and fix it from memory but will only get it 70% right. Once the scene is over leave the exhibit hall then go across the main hall to the Curator's Office. He has wanted to give something to Justin for a long time, he will also mention a crashing sound from a moment ago. Sue and Justin will know they're busted! Tell him the truth and he will think you're joking. Anyhow the curator will give you an intro letter to show the people at the Sult ruins so you can explore it and find out more about the spirit stone. When you gain control leave the museum, the curator will scream he has fount out about the statue. He doesn't know who did it, Sue suggests not apologizing right now. Go to the shop in town and buy any equipment you deem necessary then go south and leave town and select Marna Road. Once you're there you will get your first battles here. Go to the east of the road and you will find a pot of gold, go north and you will find a bag of gold. Go back to the man made road and go south then west to find HERBS. Go back to the man made road again and follow it to the north until you see a bridge. Just before the bridge is a bag of gold, go across the bridge and go to the east and around the rocks to find HERBS. Now go back west, then go north and pass the mountains. Then get back on the road go north pass the mountains on the road go east then south and open the treasure chest it's a BATON. Now go back to the west then north and get back on the road. Follow the road until you are out of Marna Road and back on the world map. ***************************************************************************** 1b: Sult Ruins Levels: Justin 2-4; Sue 1-3 Go to Sult Ruins, when you gain control speak to the man near the gate of the encampment, he will let you enter. Just then a female soldier will call the rest to order. She will order all of them to meet her at level one. When the regular soldiers leave the 3 females (Saki is the one with brown hair, Mio has green hair and Nana has purple) will discuss how they discipline their soldiers. Anyway once you gain control go to the gray ramp and go down it then go towards the entrance and you will see the 3 female soldiers again. Speak to them Justin will ask them to take him to the underground. Nana will not she will think Justin and Sue are suspicious. Then she will want to know who you are. Select show them the intro letter when the choices come up. They will all agree it looks real, but Nana wants to see it up- close. Nana will rip it in half Saki will ball it up and Mio will throw it in a hole. Now Justin and Sue have no business there! Mio will show a bit of compassion and tell them to leave so they won't have to capture them. Once they leave Justin will still want to go inside. When you gain control go inside the Sult Ruins. Just go strait along the path, you will see Lieutenant Leen speaking. She is giving the Roll Call, you will find out those 3 women are Sergeants in the Garlyle Forces. Then Colonel Mullen will speak, Mullen will tell the troops that danger lies ahead. He also tells them that there are Angelou Secrets in these ruins that they must uncover. Leen will then give the assignments to the Sergeants and there troops. Then Leen and Mullen will leave. When you gain control go down the stairs then go west. Then go north and you will hear some soldiers speaking. After that go west to the little cave and get the bag of gold. Now go east then up the stairs. Then go up the stairs to the east, continue going east once you are up their get the treasure it's a RUNE RING. Now drop down and two soldiers will be there, they're talking about the 3 Sgt. Now go east and you will see the 3 Sgts. They are jealous of Leen and they are plotting against her. Now keep going east you will see a guard that's complaining to another guard about the junk in these ruins. Once you gain control go north a rock will block the path. Now go west and two more soldiers will be complaining about excavating duties. Now go west and you will see the two soldiers talking about a weird statue they found in the lowest level. After that scene go north then west and two soldiers will discuss a soldier who hurt himself. Now go west and up the stairs, then go north and then west and get the SHIN SHOE. Now continue going north and save at the save point. Now continue going north until you get to the next level. Once you're there go north then east and get the bag of gold. Go west and up the stairs follow the path and then jump over the hole. Get the treasure it's an OLD ARMOR. Drop down from here go north and under the pillar and go up the stairs. Go along this path and you will drop down, now go north and up the stairs. Then go east and you will drop down again. Now go north then east and go under the fallen pillar. Now go south and up the stairs you can finally get the ROCK AX. Come back down the stairs and go east and then south, and go underneath the landing near the stairs. Then go up the stairs go to the (!) and the pillar will fall. Go east towards the item and the plate you are on will fall. The item falls too; it's a RESU POTN. Now go back up the stairs cross the pillar and get the pot of gold. Continuing going north you will see two soldiers talking about a face statue. They can't figure out the statue and go and get Herr Mullen. Now Save and Recover at the Save Point. Now go to the stairs, Justin will start glowing. It's his spirit stone! It must be real! The statue will open up for him. Go inside, go north and then northwest. Now hit the button in the small room at the end of the hall. You may have to hit it twice, and the door will open for you. Now go inside the doorway, when you're on the rotating platform hit the button in the middle. The platform will rotate towards the archway. Go inside the statues will come back up to face each other. Go to the door at the end of the hall and the spirit stone will shine again. The face statues will turn and face the doorway. The door will open, so go inside. A female voice will welcome you, the screen will then flash and a light will be their, walk over to it. The female voice will welcome you again. Her name is Liete, suddenly you will be above the world. Liete will want to know what you seek. Justin really doesn't know what he is seeking. Liete will tell Justin that Angelou is real and that the spirit stone was given to humans at the time of the Angelou as a bond between human and spirit. Liete will go on and tell you some more history of the Angelou and about the Human and Spirit bond. You will be back in the room again. Liete say the spirit stone is usually with an Icarian. Justin will want to know more but Liete tells him to travel East to get more answers. She goes on and says that he must find Alent and it's far to the east. She sums it up and says go East, to find Alent and to find me to get all your answers. Liete will disappear. Justin realizing that Angelou couldn't have been a myth and the spirit stone is real he must go East to find Alent and Liete. When you gain control go back to the rotating room. When you are about to leave Colonel Mullen Lieutenant Leen will show up! Colonel Mullen has some questions for Justin. He draws his sword, Leen stops him because Justin and Sue are just children. Mullen will ask Justin his name, answer truthfully. Now Mullen says he will kill Sue if he doesn't answer the next question with the truth. Mullen wants to know how the door opens. Tell him that you opened it. He won't believe it since neither him nor his men could get the door open. Now Mullen ask what did Justin see, answer truthfully a pretty girl in a room. He will know Justin means Liete. Mullen says he won't kill Justin and Sue. He will just make them informants in the military. Sue doesn't like the thought of that, and then she comes up with an idea. Sue and Justin will walk backwards and hit the switch to make the room spin around. Mullen and Leen will be trapped on the other side. Now leave out of here and return to the entrance to the secret part of the Sult Ruins, You will have your first boss fight! ########################################################################### Boss Fight I: Rock Bird HP: 230 Exp: 30 Gold: 150 Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Attack: a normal attack Well he will be very easy. He shouldn't be able to do much hard to you, you should have Sue use Puffy Kick and Justin use V-Slash. When your SP runs out just use combos on it. Rock Bird will only attack, will all I can find that he did was an attack. ########################################################################### Justin and Sue will think that was the trap that Mullen mentioned. You will automatically be brought to the entrance to the Sult Ruins. Mullen and Leen will arrive soon after. He will not believe Justin was strong enough to defeat Rock Bird. Mullen decides not to chase after them, he actually enjoyed his meeting with Justin. He feels that the small bit of Angelou information isn't really relevant so he will let him go. Now you will be back with Justin and Sue, they are outside of the Sult Ruins. When you gain control save at the near by save point and leave the encampment surrounding Sult Ruins. *************************************************************************** 1c: Leck Mines and The Steamer Levels: Justin 4-5; Sue 3-4 When you're on the world map go back to Parm. Once you are their head for Lilly's Seagull Restaurant. When you get there sue will wonder how are they going to make it to the New World. Next speak to Lilly and you will get a meal segment. Once you speak to her she will tell you need to get on the Steamer to get there. She says you should ask around on the dock to find out how to get on the steamer. When you are done talking you will be in Justin's room. Now go downstairs and stash in necessary. Then go to the Port of Parm. Once you are there speak to the sailors and other people there. You will find out that regular people need a pass to board the steamer. One of the sailors will tell you that an old adventurer named Java has a smelly old pass he shows off. He is usually in the cafe drinking coffee. Now leave the port remember where Tentz was crying because he lost the key? Go there and then go south and east and speak to the woman in front of the cafe. She will tell you that one of her employee's has the key and he usually hangs around the port looking at Seagulls. Go to the dock, you have spoken to a man in green that complained about washing dishes. Speak to him again and he will ask you to return the key to the owner for him. Now go back to the town part and go back to the cafe and speak to the woman in front of the cafe again. She says you can come in later on when she opens up. The screen will change to a scene on the airship with General Baal and Colonel Mullen, Baal will ask Mullen if he has fount it. Mullen will tell him no, and Baal will say just prepare for the next plan. Leen and Mullen will talk about there next stop is Elencia. The screen will change back to Justin and Sue it is nighttime now. Go to North Parm and go to the cafe. Once you're inside speak to the woman behind the counter and she will tell you that Java isn't here tonight but you can speak to others if you want. Speak to the other people in the cafe and you will find out that Java lives in the Leck Mines. Speak to Miss Kirlian the owner before you leave and she will tell you Java left his wallet. She will ask if you can return it for them. Leave the cafe after this and return to Lilly's. Speak to Lilly for another Meal Segment, she will tell you that trains go to Leck Mines. On a side and sad note you will find out that both of Sue's parents are dead :( . When you're done talking you will be back in Justin's room. Leave Lilly's and go south of the restaurant to find the train station, speak to the man inside and for some reason he will let you in for free :) Go up the stairs and then get on the train. You'll get a scene of the train going, soon enough the train will stop at the Leck mines. When you get there and gain controls go west and you'll see the old mines. >From here go south and you will see Java's house. Go inside Java isn't home. Justin decides to leave Java's wallet there. Suddenly an old man will appear and he will think you're trying to steal his wallet. It's Java, he seems pretty angry but Sue will calm him down. The screen will switch over to the end of Justin's story. Justin will tell Java that he's searching for Angelou. Java laughs at that and he decides to give him the pass after all! But! First he must pass a trial to prove himself as an adventurer. Java says meet him at the mines in the back. Then Java leaves leave and then go over to the mines. Speak to Java he says that monsters live in the cave and their wails keep him up at night. He wants you to go in there and get rid of the leader. Save with Java and go inside the mines. Go west then south and get the bag of gold there. Then go east and follow along the path of the rail that is eastern most. Continue along it into Leck Mines (2). When you're there continue going east and then go southeast along the northern most rail and grab the bag of gold. Continue going east into you fall off the small ledge you are on. Now go up the small hill, then go south for a SAFE HELM. Now go back north and then go east until you reach a fork. Go south for a bag of gold, then go back north and continue going east. The path will go north west go along the west path then go south and use the (!) there to get across. Now go west then drop until you drop down a small ledge. Then drop down and go to the north and get the HAND AX. Now go south and up the first wire for a bag of gold. Now go south until you reach a treasure chest that contains a MI HAMMER. Go to the closest train track and follow it. When it splits take the northern track (From Justin's point of view it would be on his left) Continue along this path until you find a WOUND SAL. Get it and walk north a bit and the road will fork again. Go south and then east to get the OK SHIELD. Now go back on the rail you were just on and follow along it until you reach a save point. Save and recover here. Now continue going east into the Deepest Depths. Get the 3 bags of gold and the 2 boxes of gold that are in the room. Then go up the stairs to fight the boss! ########################################################################### Boss Fight II Orc King & Orcx2 HP: Orc King: 285; Orc: 70 each Exp: 78 Gold: 490 Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Fire Breath: fire for minor damage First take out the two orc's using combos. They're just in the way in this fight. The only thing that Orc king will do that's significant is Fire Breath. You might need to use an item and cure after this just to be on the safe side. Let him have it with Puffy Kick or Round Whacker if you have it. Have Justin use W-Break if he has that but if V-Slash is at a high level or nearly maxed use that. ########################################################################### After the fight the roof will start caving in. When you gain control get the DEF SEED that's on the platform. Now leave the deepest depths Java will be waiting. Java has a cart to get you out of their Justin and Sue will hop in and after a cool scene everyone will fly outside of the mines. Everyone will be ok. Java will tell you the key thing you forgot was how to escape once you got in. But you "passed" anyway, Java will give you his old stinky pass. Sue will urge Justin to come on and wait for the train. Sue will leave and Justin will want to ask Java something. Java already knows it's about Sue, he tells him an "Adventurer travels alone" Now leave here and go back to Parm. Justin and Sue will get off the train together. Sue seems very excited about getting the pass for the Steamer. Justin will tell Sue he is not taking her to the New World. Justin's excuse is "I refuse to take a child" This will make Sue start to cry, she will run away along with my MI Hammer! She will come back and kick Justin in the shin. When you gain control of Justin return to the Seagull Restaurant. Gantz will be outside of the restaurant he will make a joke and tell Justin he saw Sue run in her house. Go over to Sue's house (It's the one next to Lilly's Restaurant) Sue's Aunt and uncle say Sue doesn't want to speak to him. Leave here and go inside Lilly's Seagull. Save with Lilly and you will get a meal segment. This one is about Lilly making a fuss over Justin, Justin won't be able to tell her he is going to the New World. Lilly already knows he is leaving the next day you can tell by her responses. Lilly will leave the meal event by herself and decide to go to sleep. Justin will be in his room with the stuff he's taking on the journey. Justin will go downstairs and look at the pictures of his adventuring ancestors on the wall. He will have doubts of his old strength and ability since he isn't on par with his father at the age he is now. He will then ready himself and promise he will live up them. He will put his picture on the wall next to his father's. When you can control Justin go back up the stairs and stash unnecessary items then leave Lilly's restaurant. Go to the port and save if you want to. Speak to the guard there and he will let you in. Once inside you can speak to the people if you want, when you are done go to the line near the steamer. Speak to the guard there and tell him if you're ready. He will tell Justin something is hanging out of his pocket. It's a letter. It's addressed to the Adventurer Society from Lilly the Skull. You'll have to read it, it's an intro letter describing what type of boy Justin is. This here is solid proof that she knew he was going to the New World. After Justin's reads the tear-jerking letter the sailor will tell him to hurry up and board the ship. Justin will get on board and the ship will sail away from Parm. After that you will see Justin on the ship. It's time to explore! The things to do here are going to the second class cabin to purchase items or to stash. The next thing you will need to do is to go to the lounge on the ship it's in the hall near the first class cabins. Speak to the young boy there and he will be thinking about a girl he just saw with a large bow in her hair. Now go back to passageway (1) and you will see Puffy. Go on deck and you will the captain and some of the sailors surrounding a barrel with Sue in it! One of the sailors claims she's a stowaway, the rule of the sea is stowaways must be thrown over board in a barrel. Speak to Sue and she will insist she is with Justin. The captain is hesitant because he doesn't want to throw a very young girl overboard. Speak to the captain and he remembers Sue calling him an adventurer. Then he has an idea, he decides to make Justin and Sue apprentice sailors! Since a sailor can't be a stowaway and since there already use to adventure it was the natural choice. The screen will change and Justin and Sue will wake up in the sailors quarters. A sailor comes and tells you that you have work to be done, an apprentice sailor's job is to Swab the Decks. Speak to the sailor near the stairs for a key to the first class cabins, and speak to him again to save. Now go on the deck and speak to the man in the pink shirt. When you are ready to start scrubbing the deck tell him. Read the rules, this is a pretty simple mini game. Don't be an idiot and press Cross repetitively like I did. You want to gold let go hold let go until Justin has a good rhythm and he's moving pretty fast. However if you came strait to the decks than purposely lose. If you didn't do it right go to the first class cabin A. Speak to the woman there she needs her bathtub scrubbed. Although there is no visible dirt Justin will clean it anyway. When you're done speak to her again and she'll give you 25G. Now go to Passageway (2) and speak to the man near the woman. He will ask you the rules of the sea, just hit all the top answers and he will give you a Beef Jerky. Now go to the crews quarters and rest and save again if you like. You will have to scrub the decks again, you won't proceed in the game until you do right. I'll assume you did it right this time, if you did you will get 25G. Go towards the door and Justin will stop and watch the sailor. He has a light, he says the light is a thing that sailors do with adventures. He says a guest is coming on board, and the guess happens to be The Best Adventurer in New Parm. ***************************************************************************** 1d: The Best Adventurer in New Parm Levels: Justin: 5-6 ; Sue: 4 The sailor will tell Justin to get to sleep so they can greet the adventurer. Next Justin and Sue will be in the sailor's quarter's Justin is so excited thinking about meeting him tomorrow, finally he will fall asleep. The next morning Sue will wake him up Justin has overslept as soon as Sue mentions adventurer Justin springs up the stairs and is ready to go. Once you gain control go up the stairs to Hallway (2). You will see one of the sailor high fiving a pole, the sailor will explain it's the adventurer's greeting. Justin will practice it with the sailor. After that go up to the deck. Once you are up there one of the sailors will tell you the adventurer is on the other side of the deck. Go around the tent and you will see her. The adventurer wasn't the huge muscle man Justin imagined but he doesn't look displease that it isn't :) She will be telling the captain and the rest of the sailors about an amazing adventurer she just had on one of the islands. She gets in-depth into the story and the captain tells her to come to his cabin and discuss. You will find out here that her name is Feena. Feena will walk near Justin and Sue and want to be introduced. The captain will introduce Justin and Sue as apprentice sailors. Sue is amazed that the New Parm's best adventurer is a girl and Justin is in awe of her. Justin will snap out and try and give Feena the Adventure's Greeting, but she won't take it. She will just shake his hand. Justin is a little agitated because she treated him like a kid. Now the screen will cut away to the boat afar and Justin and Sue will be going on the deck. The deck is already cleaned! The deck was already cleaned Feena did it. Feena also remember Justin and Sue's names. Justin will tell Feena that he is really an adventurer and not an apprentice sailor. Then Sue will tell Feena their story. The screen will shift to the end of the story. Then Sue will ask Feena about herself. Ask her all 3 questions, after you're finish the sky will darken. Feena doesn't like the looks of it and goes to warn the captain. When Feena go into the captain's quarters to find out the problem. The captain will thinks the ghost ship is here but Feena doesn't believe that. Feena will repetitively tell Justin and Sue to go back to their quarters. Finally Feena will insult Justin by telling him this isn't a game of kiddy adventurer. Justin as dense as a log wants to up to the deck and see the ghost ship for himself. Go back up to the deck and you will see a scene of the ghost ship. ~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-= [Author's Rant: (This is a small rant I wrote) Does every RPG have to have a ghost ship or some ghost filled place? I'm so sick and tired of busting up a ship just to see it sink, explode, die, fall apart, or something it's the same thing over and over. Other games that included ghost ships that I know of are Wild Arms, Breath of Fire IV, Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy V. On the subject of ghost BOF III had the haunted mansion, and Final Fantasy VI had the haunted train. Final Fantasy VII had the haunted place where Red XIII was from. Chrono Trigger also had a haunted place. I'm sick of ghost, ghost ships, and haunted things, Leave the crap back in the 80's! ~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-=~-= Feena is speaking on the other side of the ship. Go and check it out, Feena is demanding one brave man to accompany her to the "shipwreck" No one will budge even the captain is afraid of the ghostship. Speak to Feena, Justin will volunteer to go this will make Feena smile. She was using them as examples saying, "little kids" are brave enough to get on the ship why can't any of you. The men won't even budge after being embarrassed. Justin will then insist on going, answer all 3 answers and none will get Feena to let you go with her. Justin gets fed up and says him and Sue will go without her. For someone as stupid as Justin he sure knew how to turn the tables on Feena and make _her_ want to go along with him :) Feena will now join your party at level 6. Go over to the rope and walk across it. Justin will be excited about going on the ghost ship Feena will insist it's not a ghost ship. Sue ponders on how they will get down. Justin decides to just jump and Sue and Feena will do the same. Go west and over to the hole at the right of the stairs. Feena say's it may be dangerous so she will go first, Justin and then Sue will follow. A funny scene will take place as you go down heh. Anyway once you are down and you gain control grab the bag of gold to the south, continue going south and save at the save point. Go west into the ghost ship hold. Continue west and into the hole. Get the two bags of gold when you come down, go up the rope on the south part of the room to get to the Treasure Room. Get the bag of gold once you're inside and then go up the stairs. Get the beef jerky an axle will come down and head for Justin and Feena will save him in the nick of time. Now go through the doorway to reach the upper level of the hold. Then go east until you reach a rope descend it. Then go right and up the stairs and across the rope to reach the lower deck. Once you are there go south for a pot of gold, then head west for a WIND CHRM. Continue going west then go north for a WOUND SAL. Now go east and up the stairs to reach the mid deck. Go once west once you are inside for a bag of gold. Then go south and around the holes for a WOUND SAL. Now go west and up the stairs there's a treasure it's a PIRATHAT. Now go up the stairs for an ADM SWORD. Then go west around the barrels for a RESU POTN. Then go over to the save point to save and recover. Then go south and around the barrels for a pot of gold. Go up to the door and Feena will have a bad feeling about what's coming up ans tells Justins to be careful. Go through the door to the Captain's Cabin. Go to the captain's desk and read his log, Feena finds out that a monster got hold of the ship and it's tentacles killed most of the men. All of a sudden you will have a boss fight! ########################################################################### III Squid King HP: Squid King: 593; R. Tentacl: 356; L. Tentacl: 438 Exp: 154 Gold: 2000 Difficulty: Medium Attacks: R. Tentacle: Heal Squid King: Suck in- Brings party in Laser Eye- does medium damage; Range Shockwave- Does Minor damage; All To starts with take out the R. Tentacle, because it has the lowest HP and it can cure the others. The L. Tentacle only attacks so you want to get rid of that to have one less monster to deal with. When Squid King is armless go after him. Use good killer's like Round Whacker and W-Break. Feena should use fire or just use a combo on him. Her Killer's are exactly any good at this point. Suck in Followed by Laser Eye can be very annoying. Cancel him before he has a chance to do suck in to make matters easier on your self. Shockwave is an attack he does frequently but as I said the damage is minor so it's more of a knock down, slows down annoyance than a life threat. ########################################################################### After the battle the ship will begin to sink! It seems Squid King was keeping her afloat! Leave the Captain's Cabin and save, then go west until you come to a door that's locked. Feena will unlock it and you will be back on the deck. There's no way across, Feena will then climb the mass and use her whip to hook on the Steamer's crane to get everyone across. When you're back on the Steamer the captain will commend Feena for a job well done. Feena not being a glory hog gives credit to Justin and Sue as well. She'll then tell Justin that he did a good job as an adventurer. The screen will change over to the sailors quarters. You can go toot your own horn and listen to the praise of the passengers or the crew if you want. Or you can rest and save. Once it's the next morning go over to passageway (1). The pink shirt man who makes you swab the deck says that you're fired as sailors... because they reached Elencia. Now hurry on up to the deck and you will see Elencia in the horizon. Feena will come over and Justin will pay no attention to her because he is in awe of the new land. When Justin comes to his senses Feena will tell him that she wants to go with them on shore. Then Justin and Sue will be the first off the boat. They will jump up and down and run around like nuts, after they're finished Feena will come over. Feena will ask where are you going next, Justin tells her the Adventurer's Society. Feena acts funny and says she has something else to do when you have time come and visit her. She will start to leave but come back and give Justin the Adventurer's Greeting. When you gain control speak to the people if you like and then go north through the big door and you will be on the world map. Select New Parm, once inside go north until you see a large turtle animal. It's a turticamel by the way, anyway go east and go inside the adventurer's society. Speak to the receptionist behind the desk she speaks of _Adventure Tours_. She say's she hasn't heard of an Alent Tour, and if you want to go on any Adventures the President must approve you. She says the president will give you a world map if you become a member and you can go to Alent if you want. When you gain control go over to the door in the corner and answer "I'm Mr. Pakon's servant, uh-yup" He will let you in speak to the man behind the desk he looks ummm different but he's the president of the adventurer's society. He is Mr. Pakon, he became president because the former president his father died a long time ago. He can't give you membership because it's full right now. He also doesn't care about an intro letter from Lilly the Skull. Justin will get angry with him. Then Pakon decides not to give you a pass at all because you were rude. You'll also finds out this guy loves Feena and he is engaged to her. You can't get anywhere with Pakon so it's better to leave at this point. Leave his office Justin and Sue will ponder the situation and then decide it's best to go and see Feena and borrow her map. Leave the society and explore the town. You will also find out you have a Mana egg. You can use magic like Feena with it! After you are done getting new equipment leave. When you're back on the world map select Merrill Road. Once inside grab the bag of gold and go east. Continue going east until the road forks when that happens continue going east for another bag of gold. Then go west and take the north fork. Then go west and the road will fork again continue along the west path, it'll turn north you will reach a MANA EGG. Continue to the north then east for a bag of gold and a pot of gold. Go back west and then north and you'll be on the world map. Choose Feena's House. When you get there go north and you will find it. Go inside she has a save point in her house save and recover there. Go over to the clothesline and check the item on there. They're Feena's panties! Justin will be shocked by them (They are huge!) Just then Feena will walk in and she will see the unmentionables in Justin's hands. This will embarrass both Justin and Feena. Feena will change the subject she will offer you a meal, NOT a meal segment by the way. Sue will ask Feena if she gets lonely by her self, then Feena jokingly ask Justin if he would stay with her. Answer what you like, I chose yeah I would. Anyway Feena wants to know if you need to ask her anything. She won't lend Justin the map because he is a non-member. She'll also tell you she can't go on adventures without the map either. She is also NOT engaged to Pakon. That's why she left earlier so she wouldn't run into him. Feena also says she won't be going to the Dom Ruins because the Adventurer's Society ruled them to dangerous. Justin is angered by this because he though an adventurer was as free as the wind and should be able to go wherever they wanted. But Feena sees it "realistically" where she needs her pass to go on adventures. All of a sudden music will play, it sounds like Pakon! Feena decides to check out the commotion outside and then she'll scream. When you are in control go check it out, Sue will see Feena and Pakon. Pakon is asking Feena to marry him now. Feena tells him flat out no! Then Pakon will threaten to take away her adventurer's pass if she doesn't marry him. Feena will grab Justin and tell him that Justin is her fiancée. So they can't get married because he proposed a year ago. This will anger Pakon, Pakon will call his security guard Chang and he knocks out Justin with one punch. When Justin comes to Sue will tell him that Pakon took Feena away to get married! When you gain control save at Feena's house. Then leave her house and the vacinity. Then go to New Parm. Once you're inside New Parm stop at the adventurer's store for items and the like. Now go north and you will reach the fork towards the adventurer's society. This time go west and you will reach the church. You can't barge into the front so you have to find another way in. A man nearby says there is an underground passage but it's too dangerous for him. Go on the left side of the church and go into the storeroom. There is a little hole in the back of the storeroom descend it. Go north once you're inside the underground passage and follow along the path check the wheel once you get out of the tunnel. It will drain some of the water out. Now go east and north and up the stairs. Then go west and through the tunnel. Now go south and to the edge for a bag of gold. Then go northwest and turn the wheel to drain the water. Go back north and then west and across the stairway. Then go south and turn the wheel, continue going south and through the tunnel. Now go west and continue along the path when you come along the stairs don't descend instead continue around the corner and turn the crank. Now go open the chest for a SH SHIELD. Now go down the first flight of stairs and get the bag of gold, then go east and down another small flight for another bag of gold. Then go north east and into the secret tunnel. Go east once inside you will be in the bottom portion. Continue east then south and get the MANA EGG. Now go back through the secret tunnel and back up the small flight of stairs. Go north and get through the tunnel. Go east and then north and continue going north for an IRON MACE. Now go back and up the stairs, then follow along the path you will come upon a (!) use it to blow a hole in the wall. Now go inside, get the bag of gold and save at the save point. The door is locked so go up the boxes and through the doorway up there. Go through the door and you will see the wedding has already started, Feena has her mouth taped and is being married by force. Pakon is about to kiss the bride and Justin realizes he has to stop this. Go around the girders and then jump down, Justin will threaten Pakon, Pakon had his bodyguard Chang with him to take you out! ########################################################################### Boss Fight IV Chang HP: 738 Exp: 235 Difficulty: Semi-Hard Attacks: Tornado- Critical Attack Spin Kick- Medium Attack This battle will be difficult you may have your first loss here. His Tornado does massive damage, and curing will be necessary after that. Spin Kick is also very strong but it won't kill you, but it is a cancel attack. Use W- Break if you have it, if not just use V-Slash. Sue should use Round Whacker, but I felt Puffy Kick had just as good results here. If you gave her water with one of the Mana eggs have her cast cure on her self or Justin. If not use Puffy Cheer if it really comes down to it. When Chang gets weak he will begin to defend take this opportunity to cure yourself. When he stops defending he will become desperate and use nothing but Tornado. ########################################################################### After the battle Pakon will begin to cry, he will give Feena an Ultimatum either she marries him or she gives up her Adventurer's pass. She decides to give it up, she says "An adventurer should be as free as the wind". No true adventurer needs a pass to go on adventures, now she can go on whatever adventure she wants. Feena will thank Justin & Sue for saving her, and now she is a new Feena. The 3 will leave the church together everyone will cheer and think that Justin and Feena got married. They don't care who got married really they just wanted to party. Feena decides they should go back to her house to avoid the crowd. *************************************************************************** 2b: Rangle Mountains and Dom Ruins Levels: Justin 7-9; Sue 5-7; Feena; 6-8 You'll end up in Feena's house automatically. Feena will allow Justin and Sue to spend the night there. She'll talk about loving her home here and she wishes Justin good fortune on his Dom Ruins Adventure. Next thing it will be morning, Sue's sound asleep and Feena is not in the house. Go outside and you will see her, she is in the middle of admiring the wind and wondering about it's travels. She is feeling wonderful and now and decides to travel with Justin after all. After this you will see a scene with General Baal, Colonel Mullen, and Lieutenant Leen on the airship. It's about Baal needing to find something, Mullen suggests looking near the Dom Ruins. After the scene you will be back with Justin and the others. Feena says they should get going. Save at her house, then leave Feena's house and the vacinity once you are on the world map select Rangle Mountains. Once inside go east then north, continue north for a pot of gold. Then go south for a bag of gold, go back to the north and when you see a small hill with the rock on it go up. Then go east and get a bag of gold. Go north when you reach a wall go east and get a MANA EGG. Continue going east and then go south. At the fork go west for a MOVE SEED. Now go south for a Y MEDAL. Go west and then north and around the mountains and up a few hills and over a few rainbows :P. Go east until the path gets narrow and go out of the screen. Go east and Feena thinks you should camp here you will get a meal segment. In the segment Feena will inform you after the Dom Ruins is the Misty Forest after the Misty Forrest is the End of the World. Justin has heard of the End of the World before and he wants to go there and see it for himself. Feena will inform Justin that no one has even made it out of Misty Forest never mind the End of the World. You'll also find out that Feena has a sister in the Garlyle Forces. After the segment you will wake up and Feena is looking out over the mountains. Feena will show Justin and Sue Misty Forest, a huge forest and then the End of the World that just about blocks reaches the sun, the huge wall that truly looks like the End of the World shocks Justin. Justin is determined to go there, Feena will then tell Justin and Sue they better get a move on. When you gain control Save at the nearby save point. Now go south then go east, then go south into a little passage for a bag of gold. Then go east from here when you reach a fork go north, follow the path and then get the treasure. It's a MANA EGG. Go back to the fork then go east and you'll end up on the world map. Go back to New Parm to stock up on item stash, and cash in your Mana eggs. You can also get a meal event from the inn but it contains no vital information. Leave here and go to the Dom Ruins. When you get to the road to the Dom Ruins go east then north for a bag of gold. Continue going and then go southeast and you'll find another bag of gold. Now go south from the pillar then go southwest a concealed treasure will be there. It's a MIRACLE. Return to the first pillar then go east then north and then east until you reach another pillar. A pot of gold is there then go back west then south then go south east and you will see the base of the Dom Ruins. Continue going east and you will be there. Feena will explain she came here before but couldn't get in. Now go east when you see a treasure chest get it, it's a BLUE PILL. Now go east and you will come upon what looks like a dead end. It's not so go up the hill then go north. Now go west to a save point, save and recover. Now go east continue going west until you come to a fork. Go north and you'll find HERBS. Now go south then east and you'll be inside the ruins. Once inside go east and follow along the path all the way to a cliff. Climb the rope nearby go back into the ruins follow the path into an elevator room, hit the button inside to use the elevator. Go west, when you reach a fork go north and get the RESU POTN. Go back to the main road and continue going west. Now go south then east for a bag of gold. Go northeast and along the path until you reach the cliff. When you are out there go across and you will drop down, get the RESU POTN. Then go inside the ruins. When you are inside use the save point to save and recover. Now go west follow along the path ignore the elevator button and go through the east door. Continue east until you reach the cliff hit the button and go back west. Go back to the elevator and hit the button. Then go through the doorway get the bag of gold, then go northeast through the doorway to the cliff. Hit the button there and on the other side a pillar will come out. Return to the other cliff the one where you hit the button the first time. When you are their run across the two pillars to reach Dom Ruins(2). Once inside follow along the path when you reach the fork go north and you will reach a cliff. Take the rope down then go back inside the ruins. When you are back inside go east and when you reach a fork go north for a MANA EGG. Now go south, southeast and then follow along the path. When you reach a fork go southwest. Ignore the elevator continue along the path down the flight of stairs and outside to a cliff. Get the pot of gold and enter on the other side. Go east for a bag of gold, stop and return to the elevator. When it takes you down go through the doorway. Save at the save point and stash or retrieve if needed. Go through the doorway and fight the boss! ########################################################################### Boss Fight V Ganymede HP: 1500 Exp: 100 G: 2000 Item: SHL ARMOR Difficulty: Medium Attacks: Suck In- Brings party closer Rush Attack- A medium attack; range Beat Attack- a powerful attack; one This will be your first boss with 2 connected parts. His body and head can both attack you and the body and the head's HP are connected. Assault him with your best moves like W-Break Mid Air Cut (if you have it) and Sue's Puffy Kick or Round whacker. Feena should use knife hurl if a knife is equipped if not have her either cure with magic or items or use combo. He'll often use suck in follow by rush attack and then get some one with beat attack. This someone may either be near death or dead depending on where your HP is. Try to keep your HP up at all costs. This enemy is subject to critcal's you can critical either part to cancel him fully. Use that to your advantage in your fight. ########################################################################### After the battle go east and go up to the ball of light. Feena will want to know this is all about. Sue remembers seeing the same thing at the Sult Ruins. Justin will pull out the Spirit Stone and Liete will appear. Justin will want to know more about Alent. You will get a scene, Liete will speak about how Angelou was prosperous place in the world. Liete will tell Justin that Alent is much further east than where they are. Justin will ask if it's at the end of the world. Liete says there is no such thing as "End of the World". Liete will disappear, Justin is sure they will make it through Misty Forest and over the End of the World. Feena will remind Justin that no one has made it pass misty or to the End of the World. When you gain control leave here. Leave the ruins when you make it back to Dom Vestibule Feena suggests heading back to New Parm. When you get to the Road to Dom Ruins Feena will notice someone has collapsed. It's a small boy he's unconscious and he ahs a horn and a tail! He will awake and growl at Justin and then attack him, he will then pass out. Feena will suggest taking the little boy to her house. As she leaves the Garlyle Forces will appear. The sergeants are there, they were searching for the "Humanoid boy". Mio realizes that the boy couldn't have gotten far with a wound. They suggest getting hounds to track his scent. *************************************************************************** 2c: Herb Mountains & Garlyle Base Levels: Justin 9-10; Sue 7-8; Feena 8-9 Meanwhile back at Feena's, Feena can see he has a wound and it got infected. The infection is giving him a fever. Feena say's Sulfa Weed can cure it, you can find Sulfa Weed in the mountains near her house. Save at Feena's house you may have already noticed a fence in the vacinity. Go over to it, Feena will suggest moving the fence. Justin suggest using his "Board splitting kick" Justin will kick the board hurt himself but the fence is broken. When you gain control go east into the Herb Mountains. {This place is a horrible maze in the mountains. It's trick to get through and tricky to write about. It's possible to write a map of it but I fount it impossible to turn the handwritten map into an ASCII one. Since I do not have a scanner or any means of getting to one I couldn't make it. You'll have to go on my shoddy directions, I'll write this directly as I toke notes of it. Some directions may be wrong, I'm sure they are but this was a HARD place to figure out} When you are inside go north, go east at the first fork an ANTIDOTE. GO back west and continue going north, follow along the path for an ANTIDOTE. Now go strait south ignore all fork and continue along the south path. You will reach HERBS. Go back north and go up the first hill on the east, continue going east and you will get a WHITE SULFA. You need Red Sulfa weed to cure the boy. Continue going east until you get two north forks. Take the eastern more fork, (Justin's right). Then go north take the path going north at the fork, then go west when you reach a fork go south. Then go east for an ANTIDOTE. Now go northwest then south. Then go east for a WHITE SULFA. Now go north then east and go south. Continue to the east around a mountain and then south once you are in the little path go north. Go east at the fork, then go south and then west. Go north then down the little hill and continue north. Finally Red Sulfa Weed! Going to the west and dropping down the mountains is the quickest way out of this hellatious FAQ writer's nightmare. Once you are out go back to Feena's house. Feena will treat him with the Sulfa, Justin is curious about him, he thinks the boy may be from Misty Forest and he knows about Angelou. Feena will offer to watch him through the night while Justin and Sue sleep. The next morning Sue will awaken to music. Feena fell asleep watching the boy, the boy is now gone! Sue decides to check out the noise outside. Sue will see it's the little boy playing a flute. Go over to him he's all smiles now. He is also speaking a strange language, Justin will think he's not human. After a few failed attempts to speak to him he will pull out a nut for Justin to eat. Justin is unsure about taking the strange nut from the strange boy. Just then the Garlyle forces will show up. The Forces want the Humanoid Boy but Justin Feena and Sue won't give him up! The sergeants demand him and decide to take you away to their front lines. You will get a cool scene of the Garlyle forces front line and then you will your party being taken away. Justin and Sue will be put in a cell together. When you gain control go over to the pipe in the corner, Justin can use the pipe as a weapon. Now they need a plan, Sue feigns a stomachache. The guard will open the gate and Justin will whack him with the pipe. When you gain control go over to the next room Feena is there. You can't open her cell so go on to the next room. Go into the room and you will see a man on the phone. Go over to him and he will turn around Justin will whack him. He will drop the key pick up the key. Then get the RESU POTN on the desk. Now start to leave when you do a whole gang of guards will be there. You will hear sounds of them beating up Justin. The next scene Justin will be in a cell by himself hanging from a rope! Justin vows he will get free from the rope. Lieutenant Leen will walk in the room she wants to talk with this prisoner. Justin will tell Leen that he will escape. Leen will tell Justin the only way out is by military train. Leen will tell Justin that him and his friends will get the death penalty because they know too many secrets. Leen will then slap Justin, She will tell the guards to go watch the others. When the guards leave Leen will drop the key to the cell, and it didn't look like it was an accident. Then Leen will leave, now Justin must get free! He will wriggle out of the ropes when you gain control pick up the key. Now leave your cell and go to the room on the right to rescue Sue & Feena. Continue to the right and in the next room go up the stairs. Go east and get the ULTIMATE. Then save at the nearby save point, then climb up into the vent. Follow along the path and then go east to hear the guards talking about the train. Continue along the path until you reach the Garlyle base warehouse. Keep going along the path and you will see Colonel Mullen. Colonel Mullen will be talking in the same language as the boy. Lieutenant Leen will show up and Mullen will tell her he couldn't get any information out of the boy. Mullen has another plan for the boy, but Leen will not want to do it. Once you gain control follow the path around the room and into the Barracks. When you come to the boxes go down them. Sue will notice a panel on the door, since you don't know the code now don't bother with it. Go up the west set up crates and into the vent. Once you are up there go west at the fork continue going west when you come to the fork look at the guards for a fight. To avoid all fights plus some items do not look into vents. Since I took that option I missed experience gold and items. Follow along the path until you come to a fork with a long path leading east. Take the fork to enter the Locker Room. Continue going strait and the 3 sergeants will be down there in there underwear. Saki will brag about Herr Mullen always giving her the orders, to give to the other sergeants. Then they discuss the code to the humanoid boy's room. They will argue over it until they come to the decision that it's: right, right, left, left, Up, down, up, down. Now leave out of the locker room and then take the north path. You will have to fight troops to get down. Now go north and use the code. Feena and Sue then tease Justin about seeing the sergeants in their underwear :) Anyway go through the door and down the stairs to get to the warehouse. Save at the save point, by the way this is your first hintless save point :( Go north through the door and to the cage. Sue will tell the little guy they're here to help. Go to the right side of the room to find a wheel crank. Justin will use it to open the cage. The boy will be happy and he will give you 3 nuts. Feena and Sue both agree that Justin should eat it. Justin then thinks they should all eat them at the same time. After they eat them Feena falls out and Justin and Sue will bounce off the walls. The boy will ask if they tasted all right Justin thought that it tasted terrible. The boy will then say his name is Rem, the nut is a communiqué nut it allows you to understand him. Justin the suggests they should find a way to escape. *************************************************************************** 2d: Escaping Garlyle Base Levels: Justin 10; Sue: 8; Feena 9-10 Save at the save point if you want and go back to the Barracks. Once you're inside go south and you will see Saki, she doesn't know how you got to the humanoid and escaped but you're not getting pass her! ########################################################################### Boss Fight VI Saki & Privatex3 HP: Saki: 1000; Private 110 each Exp: 130 G: 300 Difficulty: Medium Attacks: Slapstick: An attack First get rid of the privates with combos. When they're gone get Saki down with Killer's W-Break or Mid Air cut do work here. Regulate someone to curer because her normal attack was coming in at 30+. Slapstick luckily was a little weaker. When you're out of SP use magic on her, and critical as much as possible to cancel her. She ahs a very high action rate even though it's 3 on 1 she will be able to damage the person closes to damaging her. You won't be able to string together any relentless onslaughts without critical. ########################################################################### After the battle Saki will drop a key, pick it up. You might want to go back to the nearby save point to save and recover. Now go back to where Saki was and go through the door behind her. Ignore the door on the east and continue going south get the bag of gold. Go up to the door on the east with the barrels in it, go around them to get an ARM SABER. Leave out of the room go south and then go west ignore the door to the north. Continue west then take the south fork you'll run into Nana she'll know Saki was defeated and another fight will insue! ########################################################################### Boss Fight VII Nana & Privatex3 HP: Nana: 900; Private 110 each Exp: 130 G: 300 Difficulty: Semi-Hard Attacks: Yo-Yo; An attack; single Spinning Yo-Yo; an attack; range Nana is a bit tougher than Saki. Like with Saki take out the privates first with combo's. When they're done focus your attention on Nana. A Yo-Yo attack might sound like it sucks but the spinning Yo-Yo can destroy you. She uses it relentlessly. She truly "Shows no Mercy" with it! Admittingly it took me out of the battle a few times because it stuns your action and cancels you. You're only defense is to either wait for her to break spinning Yo-Yo with an attack or a regular Yo-Yo. If you can enter a command chose to elude the attack and get out of her range. If that person is a cure the whole party if possible. On offense relentlessly attack her, don't worry about the power that you get from your killers you'll have to hit her hard and fast. Sometimes you may have to fight through pain, meaning that everyone could be weak but you can't let her get back on offense when a person's not attacking. Pound her into oblivion with a combination of weak specials. Each round they were doing about 300 HP combined. ########################################################################### After the battle go north and west and into the room for a save point, recover and save here. After the battle go north and then west and save at the save point. Now go back to where Nana was and go up the stairs. Go south and you will find a MIRACLE in a treasure chest. Then go north and then east halfway for an ARMY DART. Now go north until you hit a wall then go east for a bag of gold. Mio will show up and you will have to fight her! ########################################################################### Boss Fight VIII Mio & Privatex3 HP: Mio: 700; Private 110 each Exp: 130 G: 300 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Stun Gun- paralyses; single Balloon: Poisons and slows IP of all Although Mio has the lowest HP, and she is the weakest physically her status attacks can devastate you more so than the other sergeants. Balloon will poison you and slow your IP, then you can be stunned by her stun gun. With everyone either moving slow or they're stunned the battle will be much more tougher. First thing you will want to do is waste the privates When they're gone you'll have to brutalize Mio. Forget about curing the statuses even if you have the items to do so, it makes the battle slower and she will sue them constantly. Unless you have your back against the wall then and only then should you unparalyze a character. ########################################################################### After the battle recover and save at the nearby save point stash if needed, Then go east Justin will see the military train that Leen told him was the only way out of here. Run up the stairs and get on the train Justin will get the train started and he will escape. Then you will see a scene of Herr Mullen and Leen on an airship, Leen will inform Mullen that Justin and the humanoid have escaped. Mullen says he sent Nana and the other sergeants after Justin, he will also chase him in the airship as well. You will get a cinema of the airship taking off, then you will be back with Justin on the train. it's morning now and Feena offers to control the train for Justin. Justin says no at first then Feena offers to shovel that coal for him. Then Justin decides he will shovel the coal while Feena takes the controls. Justin then will accidentally hit the brakes then make play it cool and make like he did it on purpose. Now the screen will shift to the entire party with Rem. Rem is excited about this since this is his first time on a train and seeing one for that matter. Rem will allow you to ask him questions. He says he saw the sergeants and they chased him who caused him to trip and fall. He will also tell you that people did live on the other side of the world. Rem will then tell you that he lives in Luc Village, which is covered up by the deep mist so outsiders can't find there way in. Rem will offer to take you there to meet the people of his village. All of a sudden the train will be bumped, Justin will go outside and check it out and see 3 small planes chasing the train and shooting at it. Justin will come back in and say they need a plan. When you gain control go to the treasure chest and get the CRIM POTN. Then go through the door on your way through you will have to fight privates. Get the two bags of gold in the first two cars. In the third car you will have to fight sergeants get the OFCBADGE. After that room you will be back in the engine room. Justin thinks they should hit the breaks when the soldiers come. Go over to the breaks Justin will hit the so hard the lever will break off and the train won't stop. Now the screen will fade out, Mio, Nana and Saki will come in. At first they will argue agmonst each other of who made it there first. Then they realize that Justin and the others aren't there. Justin will then jump down in the car. Then all 3 still sore from losing at the base vow vengeance when they find him. After that Justin will call for Feena to release the train links. They will laugh at Justin's futile escape attempt until they realize the brakes are broken. Justin will admit he broke the brakes on purpose and he also stoked up the fire so it will be hard to stop the train. Then they realize there is nothing they can do about it right now. They will vow vengeance for this stunt as well. The screen will now shift and you will see the train is halted at Misty Forest. *************************************************************************** 2e: West Misty Forests & Luc Village Levels: Justin: 10-11; Sue: 8-9; Feena 10-11 When you gain control go north, everyone will agree that they can't see a thing in all the mist. Rem will pull out his flute and play a sweet tune and the mist will clear. Rem will explain he played the flute to tell the village he was coming home and he used a mist-clearing nut to clear the mist. Rem will then run away on his own he was too excited to wait. When you gain control go north get the bag of gold then go west for a save point. Save and recover then go east for a bag of gold. Follow the east oath until you come to a north path, go north and get the BAO FRUIT, then go north and then east. Now go north then west go across a river. Get the bag of gold and cross the river and go then go north and then east through the trees. Continue north and you will be in Luc Village. Speak to Rem who is waiting at the gate he has already told the members of the village and the chief that outsiders will be coming into the village. He says that the elder wants to speak with you. There's a weapon shop next to the bridge to the elder's house. You can't rest at Rem's house yet but you can stash there. Once you're done exploring proceed to the Chief's house. The chief will thank you for rescuing Rem but you can't stay in the village for a long time because you do not have the blessing of the God of Light. Get the blessing of the God of Light so you can be considered members of the village. Leave the chief's house there is a save point near the gate of the village leafing to the God of Light Mountain. Save and Recover there. When you're ready go north to the mountain. Once you're there go northwest when you reach a fork go west and follow the path. When you come to a fork take the north path, another fork will wait take the fork on Justin's right. Keep going along this path for a pot of gold. Go south and return to the previous fork, take the path on Justin's left when go along this path and you will hit a fork going north & south. Take the north path for a MOV BREAK. Now go south and continue south get the bag of gold and go around the rock for another bag of gold. Continue going south until you hit a wall. Then go west then north by the man made pillars and get the bag of gold. Now go south and take the other path going north, the one on Justin's left. You'll come to a 3-way fork. Take the middle path through the rocks for a PAR CHARM. Now return to the 3-way fork and take the left most path and get the bag of gold on the way and continue north to reach the Peak. Go north when you reach a fork go west get the RESU POTN, 2 bags of gold and a pot of gold. Continue along the northwest path for a THRN WHIP. Go north and you will find the NECTAR by the God of Light statue since this is the blessing they can be made members of the village. Go left for another bag of gold. Go back south then go east for at the fork for a LIGHT AM, and a TRUST. Now leave the mountain and return to Luc. Save and recover at the Save point then go and speak to the chief. He will want you to drink the nectar, but placing it to your lips is enough to consider the ritual granted. Justin will decide to just place the nectar to his lips. Now they are all members of the village, the Chief also heard of your plans to of crossing the End of the World. He advises you to forget about those plans since you will never be able to make it out of Misty Forest. Feena will ask for a Mist-Clearing nut so they can make it. The chief will tell her he cant' give her one of them because they are sacred to the village, they were gifts from the Icarians. Hearing this Justin wants to know more about the Icarians. The chief tells an old village legend about how the people wanted to be like Icarians so they stole their wings. But the Icarian wings burnt them and the burnt black bodies went into the air and blocked the sun. Because of this plants and animals soon died, the Icarians decided for safety measures to put up a huge wall. The Icarians decided before they left to give them nuts that would clear the darkness temporarily. After many years the darkness became a Mist. So the chief then explains without the nut they would be stranded in the forest. Justin really wants one bad now that he knows they came from Icarians. But the chief still insists on not giving them one, he tells Justin that if he wants to rest he can go to Rem's house. Leave the chief's house and go to Rem's. Speak to Rem's mother and you will get a meal segment. This one will mainly talk about how are they going to get through the rest of Misty Forest without a Mist-clearing nut. After the meal event you will see an event with Herr Mullen and Leen on the airship. Their radar has picked up Luc Village, there is something important there. Mullen will send Leen to go and retrieve it. Now you will be brought back to your party with Rem in his house. Rem sees a big black shadow and men running up the mountain, leave Rem's house. The chief will be gathering the men of the village, they never fought other people before so they would probably be killed. But if these soldiers take the God of Light Statue they would die. Justin will volunteer himself Sue and Feena to go up the mountain and fight off the guards. The chief will agree to this idea, when you gain control go over to the mountain's gate and save before you go in. Once you go in your will have 7-8 mandatory battles with Sergeants. Take them out easily and once you got rid of tem all you can travel up the mountain with out any battles. Go up the peak and you will see Leen trying to get the statue hauled away. She will be surprised to see Justin is here. Then she will see Feena, they know each other, and they're sisters. (Gee, they both have blue hair, [Feena does in her message portrait] their names are very similar _Leen_ and _Feen_...a. They look a little a like, hell I knew they were sisters or relatives or something since they introduced Feena on the boat.) Anyway Leen wants to know what Feena's doing there. Leen wants both of them to stay out of the way of Garlyle Forces. Leen will then jump on the God of Light statue and will start to take off with it. Justin won't let her go away and he will jump on top of the God of Light Statue while it's being pulled up by the airship. Leen will tell Justin she will not allow him to interfere with the plans of the Garlyle forces any longer. When Leen withdraws her sword she'll accidentally strike the statue and it will glow, the spirit stone in the Justin's pocket will also glow. Leen will gasp the spirit stone. Justin will ask why she called the God of Light statue a spirit stone. Suddenly the dark part of the statue will break off and the glowing part will remain. Justin and the statue will fall to the ground. Mullen and Leen will be in the airship, Leen will inform Mullen that Justin has the spirit stone. Leen will want to retrieve Justin's spirit stone but Mullen won't allow her because the mist is starting to come back and she probably wouldn't be able to make it back out of the forest. Mullen then vows he will get Justin and the spirit stone. The next scene will show Justin after the fall. Feena and Sue will check on him. Justin seems ok, they will help him reform less than half of the God of light statue. The next morning the chief and the some of the other villagers will be up there. They will thank Justin Sue and Feena for their bravery, without their help they would of had no God of Light statue at all. As a reward for the bravery the village has decided to let you have a Mist-clearing Nut. After this the other villagers we reassure you that less than half of statue is good enough. Return to Luc Village and save at the save point. *************************************************************************** 2f: East Misty Forest Levels: Justin 11-12; Sue 8-9; Feena 11-12 Go to the east side of the village and leave it. When you're back on the world map select Misty Forrest. Walk forward and Justin will throw the mist- clearing nut clearing the mist for the time being. When you gain control go north to the save point and save. Go west and get the bag of gold, go back to the north then go east through the tree's and get the pot of gold, bag of gold and CHOLLA. Now go east and south for a bag of gold. Go back to where you got the treasure then go west then south. There's a treasure there it's a CRIM POTN. Now go north then east and when you see the path going south go to the edge of the screen and continue east there is a secret path hidden in the shrubbery. Continue going east to get the RESU POTN. Now go north then east for a BAO FRUIT. Now go south then east and through the tree's to reach East Misty 2. Now go east along the path and across the river. Now go southeast and Feena will suggest camping for the night. You will get a meal segment, this meal segment is based on Leen. Everyone will think she is not a bad person, but you can clearly see that Feena is in deep thought over this. After the segment is over go to the save point to save. Now go north at the fork then continue going in a northeast direction, then go west everyone will come upon a lake and then stop. They will wonder how a lake got here in the forest and why is there a river going through the lake. Walk on it and then cross the river, go north then west. At the fork go southwest then go north and get the ORA STAFF. Go back south then east and go north at the fork. At the next fork go west and get the bag of gold. Now go east until you can go on no further and then go then south across a river into East Misty 3. Once inside go southeast and get the GINSENG. Go back northwest then go east, then south then east then north at the fork go east follow along the path and get the SMARNA. Go back to the fork and go north and get the bag of gold then go east. Take the path leading north at the next fork then go east, then the path will take you southeast. Continue going southeast until you reach a save point. Save and recover here and go east everyone will stop. Feena will realize they made it to the End of the World!!!! The wall is so high from this point that you can't even see the top. But Justin is determined to climb it! *************************************************************************** 2g: End of the World Levels: Justin 12; Sue; 10; Feena 12 The camera here is screwy. Since you can't see what's on the other side of the wall you can't put he camera in any direction except slightly left slightly to the right, no north and south. So for this section it will be right left up and down. Now go right and touch the wall it will fall down, run over the fallen wall. Go up the stairs, and then go up the spiral staircase. , get the SPD SEED, go left and quickly get the AGI SEED. The walls will close on Feena if you don't run all the way inside. Now go left inside the other wall hole and the upper blocks will go into their holes. Go left and get the bag of gold then check the (!) to go to End of the World (2). Go up the left staircase and on the second block it will take you up. When you're up go up the left staircase and then run to the edge. Quickly run back and you will avoid the block barely. When the block is resetting get the SIL ORB. Now go up right staircase and the last block will go up, go left for a GST KNIFE. Go back to the right and use the (!) to get to End of the World (3). Go right and up the stairs and Feena will suggest camping here for the night. You will get a meal segment here, everyone will be discussing how high up they are. Justin will be sure there is a top to the wall, you will also find out that Feena has heard of Java and that he really is a Legendary Adventurer. Anyway when you're done make good use of the nearby stash point and then save at the save point. Now go right and up the stairs and press the gray button. Get on the last plate of the platform and it will take you up, go left and stick close to the wall. Press the gray button twice and go up the stairs. Then run across to the right and get on the last platform it will take you up. Now go left walk slowly and get the bag of gold and go up the stairs to End of the World (4). Go left when you see the Golem run back to the right a block will fall on the golem and crush it. When he's gone run back to the left and the last block will take you up. Go right and up the stairs, another Golem, this one will fall apart trying to go down the stairs. Now go right and the last block will take you up, once you're up go left and examine the large bird. It will fly up and come back down, examine it again and it will come at you. It's a Rock Bird like the one you fought in Sult Ruins, you should have no trouble taking it out. Once you're done fighting press the button it was sitting on and go up to End of the World (5) Once you're there go right avoid the overhanging blocks keep going right ignore the stairs and get the TRUST. Go back to the stairs and go up them press the button and the block will go up. Now go left run to the last block will take up and right to the other side. Continue going right and use the (!) to get to End of the World (6). Once you're there you will come to a save point Sue will suggest camping here for the evening. You will have another meal segment, Sue is tired of the wall, Feena is too but she keeps a positive attitude to try and get Sue up to it. Justin is still eager to get to the top, after the segment save and stash if needed. Go left and press the button the stone will take you up and left. Use *reflexes to avoid the lights on the floor. Reflexes- The ability to be able to see something and respond quickly. Not normally associated with RPG's. :) After that the stone will take you up get the bag of gold and go right, go into the wall and you will have to fight some bats. *Continue going behind this wall to fight more and more bats. They are a great source to improve your magic* After you're done with them come out on the other side, go up the stairs and use the (!) to get to End of the World (7). Go right and use the block to take you up, go left get the bag of gold and then go left and hit the gray button. Go up the stairs and the wall will drop you will have to fight. Now go back down the stairs and then drop down off the edge. Go up the left staircase you will have to fight, when that's over get the bag of gold and use the (!) to get to End of the World (8). Go left along the wall then go in and on the block and go right. Stick to the wall to avoid falling off , go to the last half block and it will take you up. Now go left you see some arms hanging off the wall. Running stop and wait until you get to the end. When you get the last one let it hit you, it will go into the wall. Go to the end and a block will come down go to the (!) to get to End of the World (9). Once you're up there you will see 3 Birds in a circle. Try to get behind one of them to get the initiative. After you defeat them press the button all the rocks around you will fall. You will be taken up to a higher level, then a staircase will form. Go up the staircase to get to End of the World (10). Feena will suggest camping here for the night. You will get another meal segment everyone will have low hopes to make it to the top even Justin. Feena will take the role of encourager this time, she says if she never met Justin her being here wouldn't' be possible. Justin then gets his courage again. The next morning Feena will notice the sun is rising. They made it to the top!, go up the stairs and you will see a vast amount of land. There's a whole New World waiting to be explored. After the scene go right, sue will notice a strange arm thing, go over to it. Sue will run to the edge and wonder how they will get down. They see no logical way everyone will hear a strange sound, a helicopter thing will come pick up Sue and drop her off the other side. When Justin wakes up Feena will be there she is near tears thinking that Justin was dead. She is overly glad that Justin is ok, then they look around at all the huge plants surrounding them. Then they realize that Sue is gone! When you gain control stash unneeded stuffs and go to the save point and save. Go down the east side of the rock and get the pot of gold. Now go north then go east for an antidote. Now go back to the north path until you hit a wall then go east, then go south and get the bag of gold. Go back north then east and down the plant stairs. Continue east into the Valley of the Flying Dragon (2). Once inside go south then around the rocks to the north. Now go east then south and get the bag of gold. Go back all the way north then east and southeast. Now go south Justin will stop and notice a shoe. It's Sue's, continue south then go east and then go east and get the VACCINE. Now go south then west around the rocks to get the RESU POTN. Go back north, then go east then go southwest. The plant will form a bridge, once you're over go west to get a MAG FRUIT. Now go east until you reach a fork then go north. You will hear Puffy, Puffy will be yelping saying Puff over and over. Feena will ask Puffy lead you to where Sue is. When you gain control go northeast and get the bag of gold. Then go into the Valley of the Flying Dragon (3). Puffy will be circling a pot of stew! Then they will notice Sue's bag is next to the stew. Feena will think someone cooked Sue! Suddenly a large armored man will appear. He will tell Justin he ate what was in the pot Feena will feint, Justin wants to fight. The guy will introduce himself as Gadwin, Knight of Dight. ########################################################################### Boss Fight IX Gadwin vs. Justin HP: 300 Exp: 0 Difficulty: N/A Attacks: Dragon Cut (Dragon King Slice)- Powerful attack Well not much of a battle here, put up a good fight for the hell of it. Gadwin will defend everything and you will cause 0 damage. When he gets tired of you he will use his Dragon Cut that will do 9999 damage. No matter how strong you are it will kill you. ########################################################################### After the battle you will see Justin waking up. Sue is alive a woman named Dr. Alma is there. She explains she fount Sue by herself in the forest, and she took her to safety. (One thing I didn't get, did these people speak English or was it the communiqué nut that allowed you to understand them??) Anyway Dr. Alma will be surprised that Justin fought against Gadwin. Gadwin will come out of the house and praise Justin saying he is a good warrior at his age. Dr. Alma will leave and attend to other matters. After that you will get a meal segment, Justin will explain to Gadwin it was a misunderstanding. Gadwin will tell them that he lives here to improve his warrior training. He will allow you to ask him questions for some reason I could never ask all 3 :( Anyway Dr. Alma is not his girlfriend and this place is called the Valley of the Flying Dragon. It's the closest place to the "End of the World" Justin will then offer to help Gadwin anyway possible, Gadwin wants it to be a man to man promise. Make is so and he will want to take you to Dight with him. When you're done Gadwin will join your party and Sue will rejoin your party. Gadwin joins your party at level at level 30. Go inside Gadwin's house to save, leave out of their then go east for a bag of gold. Now go west the north and into the east entrance. Check the rocks they will break and then go west. Then northeast a, break the rock and get the POW SEED. Now go south and continue south go to the (!) and the wall will break. Get the treasure it's a FIRE CHRM. Continue going south along the path get the bag of gold, go west and break the rocks for a bag of gold. Go north and a plant will open continue going north for a MANA EGG. Go to the plant that turns into a spiral staircase and go up it, now go around the rocks and go across the plant bridge. Then go north and get a bag of gold, go back across and follow the path into Valley of the Flying Dragon (4). When you get inside use the (!) to break the rock then go east to get the bag of gold. Now go north and continue north until you come to a fork, continue going north for a pot of gold. Now go back to the fork and then go east, you'll come to another fork go north and get the MANA EGG. Now go south until you come to a fork continue going south and get the bag of gold. Now come back north break the rock to get the bag of gold. Return to the fork and go east and you will be on the Lost World, World Map. Select Dight Village, once you are in Gadwin says he has been worrying about something and he has to speak to the elder. Go inside the inn and you will see a cute talking rabbit. He will be talking to himself about a recent transaction. Suddenly he will ask Justin if he thanks that it's wonderful. Justin doesn't know, Sue will be amazed by him and want to touch him. He doesn't like you and he thinks you look funny. His name is Guido and he's from Zil Padon, speak to him again and he will tell you he is a Mogay. He knows Justin's names, and he's suspicious since he seems to have information about Alent. He says you will meet him again and you will talk later. When you're done with him speak to the inn keeper and take a rest. After that Gadwin will be there, he had a long talk with the elder. Gadwin says everything is ok as long as it doesn't rain. Feena will inform him that it's raining right now. Gadwin will see this and run off, now go to the Elder's house, the elder will tell Gadwin that the rain will soon become poisonous. Gadwin knows he must travel to Typhoon Tower, but the legend says he needs another hero to help him get the Spear of Heroes. There isn't another man in the village like that, Justin will volunteer to go with Gadwin to get it. The elder will give Justin a Hero's Band. Sue and Feena will come over, Feena will be against Justin going 100%. Justin will then remind Feena of the promise he made to Gadwin and say that is the reason he has to go. *************************************************************************** 3b: Spear of Heroes Levels: Justin 13-14; Sue 11-12; Feena 13-14; Gadwin 30 Leave the village and go to Typhoon, once inside go north, then go up the mountain and get the bag of gold. Now go south then east and go across the river of poison, now go north until you reach a MANA EGG. Go north run over the poison river, everyone will stop and Gadwin will say the rain is turning poisonous. Feena suggest turning back, Justin will try to assure her that it's ok but Feena still has a bad feeling. Continue north until you reach the peak, once you're there Justin and the others will feel like their bodies are being burned. When you gain control of north and up the mushroom stairs, and go northwest until you see the doors to Typhoon Towers. Go west around the building and get the MAGE SEED. Now go inside Typhoon Tower, go northwest to reach a save point. Go west of here pass the monsters to find a MANA EGG. Now go east pass the save point continue east until you see a treasure it's a CONF CHRM. Now go north and down the hill then west and down the little flight of stairs. Then go north and get the bag of gold, then go south and go west. Then go north when you see a treasure get it's a SICKLE. Now go east and to the large set of stairs. Walk on the mushroom and a siren will go off, go up the stairs. Then climb the ropes the Typhoon Tower (2). Follow along the path your up there and you will find stairs that lead back to Typhoon Tower (1). Go east and press the 2 buttons and staircase will open up go up to Typhoon Tower (2). Get the bag of gold and press the 2 buttons then cross the bridge. Once across take the north fork for a PIRATHELM. Go south then west and go down the stairs to Typhoon Tower (1). When you are there go up the other flight of stairs to get to Typhoon Tower (2). Now go north get the pot of gold then go east, then go down the rope to Typhoon Tower (1). Hit the switch get the bag of gold and go up the stairs to Typhoon Tower (2). Press the switch once you're up there and you will a platform in the west moving, that's the red staircase way in the beginning of the tower. It's far but simple to get back to. When you get there go across the bridge go south and save at the save point. Then go up the stairs a monster will be snarling on a throne. Gadwin will inform you that it's the king of the Klepps. Justin will think it's weak it will come off the throne and turn into a huge serpent! ########################################################################### Boss Fight X Serpent HP: Serpent: 1071; Mean Head: 486; Nice Head: 800; HP: Bad Head: 600; Hot Head: 516 Exp: 2530 Gold: 2880 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Bad Head: Stun Gas-paralyzes; range Hot Head: Hot Gas- Fire based attack; Range Mean Head: Kilr Bite- average attack; single Nice Head: Recover regains 200 hp: all Serpent: 4 Headed Attack- Major attack; single (Strength reduced when less heads are alive) This battle won't be easy, you have to get rid of the heads first. Although the battle is longer like this the end of the battle will be much easier. Take out he nice head first so the serpent can cure itself. Then get rid of the mean head since it doesn't have much HP. Now take out the Bad Head because Stun is very annoying. The only thing left should get the hot head. If Feena or Sue have alheal it makes this battle a lot easier. Give the nice head everything you got don't let up even if it's to cure someone, even if you waste a lot of HP to take it out. It's better to waste this head before it gets a chance to attack. ########################################################################### After the battle Gadwin will speak of a final trial. Justin thought that the battle was the final trial. When you gain control go back downstairs and save, go up to the room of rain and press the large button behind the stairs. The pillars will form a path go up the room and go into the portal. Once inside go up the stairs Justin won't see the Spear of Heroes. Gadwin will tell him that this room is the final trial. Go up to the plaque on the wall and examine it. Justin won't understand what the plaque says so Gadwin will tell him. There are two mirrors one is the mirror of the moon one if the mirror of the stars. One path leads to the future the other leads to death. Justin will now understand why two heroes were needed; Feena doesn't want Justin to die. Gadwin doesn't either so he decides that he will go in first if he doesn't get the spirit then the other mirror will lead to it. Gadwin will go up to the plaque and choose the mirror of the moon. The mirror will turn into a portal Gadwin will try to walk through but he's too big to fit into the thin portal. Gadwin realizes there's no use he says Justin must go now. When you gain control go up to the plaque and choose either mirror. Justin will be about to say the mirror but Feena will stop him. She doesn't understand why he is putting himself in so much danger. Justin just wants to save the people of Dight. Feena is unsure about him going and then decides that she will go. Justin refuses to allow Feena to go, he can't let her be in danger like that. Justin then asks Feena to pick for him, when you get a choice what to say, say you believe in Feena. Justin will repeat it, Feena will walk up to the plaque and pick the mirror of stars. When you gain control walk up to the mirror when you walk in you alive... Now go up the stairs and claim the spear. Now the room will begin to collapse run down the stairs they will begin to collapse. The thing that Justin stands on will fall too. All of a sudden Justin will start shining and floating, then you will see the rest of the party. Gadwin will know Justin got the spear. The building will start to collapse, Gadwin wants Feena and Sue to get out of there while he waits for Justin. Feena won't she wants to wait for Justin, but Gadwin wants to stay. He see's that Feena wont' leave so he picks up both Feena and Sue and runs out of the building. The tower will collapse once they make it to the outside. You will get a scene where the tower is sinking. Gadwin thinks that Justin is dead. All 3 now believe he's dead a light will flash and Justin will appear. Justin doesn't seem to be hurt at all. Gadwin and Sue both look at Justin as a hero, but Feena doesn't. She slaps him, Feena will then start crying because she thought he was dead. Justin will then promise to never make Feena cry again. Sue will then notice that it stopped raining and she will see a rainbow. When you gain control go south to get a DEMON AM. Then go south then south and get a HELTHWEED. Now keep going and leave Typhoon Tower. When you're on the world map return to Dight Village. Go to the Dragon's Nest and speak to the elder. The elder will begin to praise Gadwin, but Gadwin inform him that it was Justin who went and retrieve the spear. The elder will tell Justin to go up and thrust the spear into the nest. When you gain control go up the small rock by going on the backside of it. Go back down and Gadwin will give Justin his armband. Justin will take it and since Feena was the one who picked the path she's a real hero and give her the armband. Speak to Gadwin he says to get to the old ruins you must go south over the Lama Mountains to reach Gumbo Village. After that you must obtain a boat to get to the Twin Towers. *************************************************************************** 3c: Lama Mountains & The Brave Couple Levels: Justin: 14-16; Sue: 12-13; Feena: 14-15; Gadwin: 30 You will be on the world map. Now go back to Dight and stock up on items when you are satisfied go back to the world map and select Lama Mountains. When you're in go southwest and get the bag of gold. Then go south and get a bag of gold. Now go west and follow the base of the rocks for a SIL ORB. Now backtrack to where you got the second bag of gold roughly and go south until you hit a wall. After that go west and enter South Lama Mountains, when you're in there go south then east for a bag of gold. Gadwin will suggest camping here for the now. You will get a meal segment the main point of the segment is information about Gumbo. Gadwin will tell you that the village of Gumbo is in the "spring" season all year around. There is also celebrations there every day, the celebrate after dinner each night because of the good weather. They sound like they are "high on life" to me :) Gadwin will also tell you that he has never been to Twin Towers but had heard stories about them. He knows that you will need a boat from Gumbo and you need to be taken West. When you are done talk sleep and you will get a scene with Lieutenant Leen and Colonel Mullen. Leen will tell Mullen that Justin hasn't been seen in New Parm. Mullen says to continue the search of New Parm since he couldn't have made it over the wall on foot. He also doesn't want his father to know about this because they haven't gotten the Spirit Stone yet. Mullen will then tell her they are going east. Now you will be back with the main party when you gain control get the bag of gold and save at the save point. Then go south and ride the gonada. When it stops go east and get a bag of gold. Now get on the gonada there it will take you east. Once you're through with that ride get on the gonada that's going south. Once you're off go south and get the HELTHWEED. Then get on another gonada going south. Once you're off go south and you will be on the world map. Once there select Gumbo Village. When you enter your party will notice that it's cold there. Gadwin will realize something is wrong here since the village is not how he remembered it. Go to the guesthouse if you want to save and check out the Tool Shed for equipment. When you're done with that go through the gate to the north. Justin will ask a woman there if she knows of any boatmen in the village and she will look at Justin and run away. Everyone will find this reaction odd. Now continue and Feena will ask a man if he knows any boatmen in town, he will look at Feena and think she is a girl then he will convince himself that Feena is a boy and leave. When you're done exploring the town go the Chief's House. Speak to the chief he will ask if Justin & Feena are a couple, when you're asked say that you're a couple. Feena seems to mind that Justin said that and Justin will explain to her that it seems to make people happy. He will call Justin & Feena the "Brave Couple" Since they have a brave couple this calls for a festival. After that the screen will shift to the chief singing. He will sing of a volcano no longer working making it cold. But a couple will appear a Brave Couple and it will change all of that. When you gain control leave the tent, if you're through now then tell the chief that you want to go back to the guest house. When you get there save if you want. It will be morning when you come outside Justin will be excited about what's going on but Feena is worried. When you're ready go south to the Greeting Tent. Speak to the chief if you're ready for the final ceremony tell the chief. He will tell Justin and Feena to sit on the platform, Feena has a bad feeling about it. The chief will tell you the fire has gone out of the volcano because of a dragon there. The legend says that a couple of a young man and woman will be sacrificed to this dragon! Justin and Feena looked shocked but the chief says he "forgot" to tell them that part. The screen will change and Justin and Feena will be on another platform. Another couple will congratulate you on your "bravery" Justin and Feena will be catapulted away. Sue will think this is a terrible and her and Gadwin will go and find them. They will land on a strange mountain, Feena once again was right and puts on a "I told you so" attitude. Justin will change the subject and think about defeating the dragon. When you gain control get the near by HELTHWEED. Then stash and save, go north get the two bags of gold then go west. When you hit a wall go north when you come to a fork go west and get a pot of gold, go east to the fork then go northwest to Volcano Slope (2). When you get there follow along the path and use the (!) behind the big rock. The rock will roll down and form a bridge on the lava. Don't go there yet instead go north and go east at the fork and get the SNOOZE SC. Then go west until you find a bag of gold. Now go back east then south, and go to the rock Lava Bridge. After you cross the bridge go underneath the landing and you will meet up with Gadwin and Sue who will rejoin the party. Now go west up the small hill then go north at the fork. Then go east across a bridge, now go north until you enter Volcano Crater. Once you're in there go along the path and get the bag of gold. Continue along the path until you see a (!) use it then go west. Go across the bridge and go along that path and get a bag of gold and an HELTHWEED. Keep going and you will reach a save point save and recover there. Justin will notice the intense heat and then see the dragon. ########################################################################### Boss Fight XI Madragon HP: 2150 Exp: 2900 Gold: 4500 Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Burn: Minor fire attack: Single Flamebreath: Medium Fire attack; Range I fount this battle pretty easy, he only uses an attack that comes from his body. Since his body is slower than his head you can easily critical it, and stop it from doing anything. This is another connected boss where it's body and head share HP. The head will use burn which shouldn't do much damage and it's easier to let the head do burn so you can do more damage with killers or a combo. Flame breath is his major attack, so critical his head so he can't use it. Bust him up with Weapon Killers if you have Justin's Ice Killer use that, don't use Dragon King Slice or anything fire based. ########################################################################### After the battle everyone will be glad that Justin and Feena didn't have to be sacrificed. Green things will appear around the party like when Justin was falling from the tower. Then the volcano will awaken Gadwin will explain that it's about to erupt! When you gain control return to the save point and save, then run back to Volcano Slope (2). Sue will see that the Volcano has erupted Gadwin will suggest running back to the base of the mountain. The screen will change and you will automatically be back in Gumbo Village. Go through the gate the 4 villagers will think that Justin and Feena are ghosts. Justin will explain to them that they defeated the dragon so they wouldn't have to be sacrificed. The two-remaining people will go tell the chief Justin and Feena decide to go with them. The screen will change to the greeting tent where the chief is singing the praises of the brave couple. Gadwin and Sue are full and decide to go back to the guesthouse, the chief will leave with them. Feena will flirt with Justin a little but Justin is still dense as a board... When she offers to go outside do so, leave the tent Danda and Naina will be there and congratulate Justin and Feena. Justin will ask them is there anywhere they can go that's cool. Danda will tell them the Islet, go to the Islet, which is the little island next to the Pier. When you get there Feena will discuss the feeling of the breeze. Justin will try to laugh off their couple status but Feena seems to be into it. Feena will tell Justin she is enjoying the time they spend together. She will lean her head against Justin and he will turn red with embarrassment. Justin will try and talk like nothing is going on but Feena will shush him. She is enjoying the moment Justin will notice the spirits. The spirits are the green things that floated around Justin in the Volcano and in the Typhoon Tower. The green spirits will be over the horizon, which I felt was an awesome scene. The screen will change to a meal segment in the guesthouse. This one will be about Justin seeing the spirits. Gadwin will explain that they intend something for Justin since he has seen so many of them. He will also tell Justin the chief has readied them a boat and he can go on to the Twin Towers. *************************************************************************** 3d: Twin Towers Levels: Justin 16; Sue 13; Feena 15-16; Gadwin 30 When you gain control Stash if necessary. Leave the guesthouse and go to the Pier and speak to Danda. He will take you to the Twin Towers. You will be at a beach, Danda he will tell you that you can only enter the towers at the North Gate. Save at the nearby save point, go north and on top of the rock is a bag of gold. Go north then west and follow the path into Twin Towers (South). When you're in their Sue will notice tanks from the Garlyle Forces! They got over around or through the wall somehow, when the scene is over go northwest and enter Twin Towers (West). Stick along the side of the wall going east and you will enter Twin Towers (North). Go northeast along the wall until you see pillars. When you see the small pillars stop, Go through the rows and through the gate. This next section is a pretty large and frustrating maze. It takes a lot to get through the maze. Instead of simply saying make your way through etc... And continue the game I went out of my way to map it out for you. Here's a little hint about the place. You will get to the main place the big opening through the left entrance. Then you will go east which will take you north. Save your game at the save point then go north then northeast. When you see the large tent everyone will hide. The 3 Sgt. will come out of the tent. They will mainly talk about how boring this assignment is, and the train incident in Misty Forest. They will walk away Justin will suggest hurrying inside. When you gain control enter the Room of Temptation. Follow along the path and check the circle. There is nothing you can do now, Feena will suggest trying the door in the corner. Check it out, it's a dead end now try to leave back out. You will hear Leen and Mullen's voices. The party has no where to hide so they just walk in. Mullen will be surprised to see them, he also likes the fact that Justin made it over the wall. Justin gets real serious and demands to be let pass. Mullen will but he has to give up his Spirit Stone. No matter what you say he is just trying to find out if Justin really had it in the first place. Mullen demands the spirit stone Justin refuses defiantly. Gadwin suggests they "get him" they go at him and with one swipe he knocks both of them away. Now Mullen will ask again answer any of the 3. Mullen and Justin want to go at it again but Leen and Feena will stop both of them. Just then Justin's Spirit Stone, a beam of light will come Justin, Mullen, Feena and Leen will disappear. Sue will wake up try and tell them that everyone else disappeared. You will see Feena awakening she calls for Justin but Mullen appears. He tells Feena there the only ones there. Feena doesn't want to talk to him because he commanded Leen at Luc Village. Mullen will apologize for this and be more concerned if Feena is all right or not. Mullen will tell Feena they are inside, Twin Towers it was built during the Angelou Days. Mullen will show the picture on the wall of the Icarians and it's wings. Mullen will explain that the Icarians were there since the dawn of time and they have started it all. Mullen will show her two sons, Feena already knows they represent the Spirit Stones. One was the human spirit stone, and the other was for the spirits. Mullen is surprised that Feena knows this, he also knows her name and that she is the "Best Adventurer in New Parm". You will also find out that Feena and Leen are more than sisters but they are Twin Sisters. Mullen will formally introduce himself to Feena and suggests they work together to find a way out. Feena can walk now and they will automatically walk up the stairs, she will almost fall then she will worry about the others. The screen will change to Justin, Justin's just getting up and he will remember what happened last and call for the others. When you gain control of him go west and you will find a save point. Then go up the stairs and try and avoid the horn toads if you have to fight one it's no big deal. Continue following the path and Justin will hear a scream and see Leen. The toads are chasing her go over to where Leen's at and she will be huddled into a corner. Justin will offer to fight them for her, it's a pretty easy fight a shockwave can take them all out at once. After you defeat them Justin will be concerned about Leen. Leen will be more concerned with obtaining the Spirit Stone. Justin suggests getting out of there before more toads come. Leen will start to run but turn around and demand the spirit stone. Justin decides to give her the spirit stone since he values his and her life over the stone. Leen will be surprised by the statement and at the fact that he gave it up. Now they will both run and when they get to the middle the platform will give and both will drop. They will land in an ice water filled room, Justin will go and check on Leen. She seems to be ok, she's slightly shaken from such a large fall. Justin's not since he fell from the End of the World. Justin will then suggest starting a fire so they can dry their clothes. The screen will shift to Feena and Mullen, they are looking at a large winged Icarian statue. Mullen will explain to Feena that this was a female Icarian they are usually depicted with wings. He will also tell Feena that Icarians and the spirits can understand one another. Mullen will tell her that the energy of the spirits is what made Angelou such a great civilization, but the spirits are now lost. The spirits gave up on humans because of the mistakes they made in the past. Mullen will suggest continuing on, lower in the same room is Leen and Justin. Leen and Justin will be talking, Leen smiles now and Justin notices it. He thinks she is pretty when she smiles this will make Leen smile more. Justin then ask Leen why do the Garlyle Forces want the Spirit Stone so badly. Leen can't tell him because it's a military secret. Justin will understand that, Leen suggest they get going. When you gain control Leen will follow you like Rem did but you can't control her and she has no stat data. Just go up the stairs and Leen and Justin will notice the same Icarian statue. Justin will notice it's almost human except for its size and it has 4 arms. Leen will suggest just going on. Go to the thing on the right to reach the Hall of Murals. Just go along the path and Justin will notice the large painting on the wall. He thinks the Angelou were fabulous but can't understand why they would paint such a sad mural. Leen on the other hands thinks that the Angelou couldn't be that good because they know longer exist and they built the End of the World the civilization. Then Justin will ask why are Garlyle so interested in a bad civilization, he will catch himself since that's probably a secret too. Justin decides it's better to get a move on. Anyway check the wheel on the right and Feena and Mullen will come up. Feena will notice the Mural on the wall as well. Mullen will explain that the mural is about the fall of the Angelou Civilization, he'll explain that humans tried to gain from the Icarians by stealing their Spirit Stone this destroyed that civilization. Feena wants to know how he knows so much about Angelou, he will tell her that his mother was a humanoid. His father General Baal used her to obtain knowledge of the Angelou Civilization, Mullen seems to despise his father for this. He will catch himself and tell her they better get a move on. You will be back with Justin and Leen, they will be in a room with a light. Go to the light Leen won't know what it is, you will see Liete. You will also get a cinema scene. Liete tells Justin that he is close to Alent, but he has to travel more to the East. After the Liete scene you will get the Medal of Wisdom. Liete will tell Justin that the medal is the key to Alent. Leen won't believe that all this is happening. Liete will tell Justin to cross the inland Sea and he'll be at Alent. Liete will answer all of his questions once he gets there. Now Justin will tell Leen they have to find a way out of there. Leen says they can use the magic circle, Leen will ask Justin if he knows how to use it. Leen knows how and you will be teleported to the middle section of the Twin Towers Maze. Leen tells Justin they have to part now, she also warns him to stay away from Angelou and to stay out of Garlyle business. Leen starts to leave but she'll turn around, she will ask for Justin's hand. She will return the Spirit Stone to Justin. She'll tell him she doesn't feel right about taking the Spirit Stone. She'll ask him why is the Spirit Stone so important to him, after some thinking he will decide that it's so important because it's the "soul of the adventure". This will make Leen laugh and she'll see why Feena is with him. After some more conversation Leen will leave when you gain control go to the Save point and save. Head back to the entrance of the Twin Towers building, he'll hear a voice and think its Leen. It was Feena's voice, Feena can tell he was with Leen in the tower. Feena will let it slip that she was with Herr Mullen. This will anger Justin, but Feena will tell him he wasn't such a bad guy after all. When you gain control follow along the path and you will see an opening. Gadwin and Sue will be there, Sue will tell Justin and Feena that Gadwin was out for a while. Gadwin was overwhelmed by the superior strength of Mullen. Gadwin suggest they return to Gumbo. Leave out of through the north exit and return to the coast, Danda and Naina are waiting. Speak to them and tell them you are ready to go, Justin will ask if he can be taking across the Inland Sea. Gadwin will call it the Sea of Mermaids, Danda will avoid the question and say it's best if they return to Gumbo for now. *************************************************************************** 3e: Saying Goodbyes Levels: Justin 16-18; Sue 13; Feena 16-17; Gadwin 30 When you're back in gumbo Danda will tell you he can take you anywhere except across the Sea of Mermaids. Gadwin will explain it's Mermaid season you can't cross the sea now. The mermaids are killing anyone who crosses. Gadwin suggests returning to Dight and asking the Elder there about an alternative method of crossing the sea. Everyone will start walking away and Sue will fall down. She say's she is ok she's just hungry. But Feena and the rest can sense something is wrong. Anyway go back to the guesthouse if you want to save. If not just go to the world map and select Dight Village. When you're inside go see the Elder, The elder says there is a place called Vanishing Hill. There is a device there that let's a person go anywhere they want in the world. But someone has to get an orb from the top of the hill before they can use the device. Suddenly Sue says she's feeling tired and asks if it can wait until tomorrow. Leave the Elder's house and when you go outside Sue will feint. The party will take Sue over to Dr. Alma's house. Dr. Alma says Sue is worn out, the long trip has been a lot on her. Dr. Alma will ask Justin if Sue said anything about being tired before, but Justin really doesn't know what to say. Justin will then blame himself for this, Dr. Alma says Sue shouldn't go on any more adventures. Sue will then claim she's fine but Feena sees she needs rest. Justin will be willing to wait a day until she gets better. Dr. Alma says a day won't do it she has to wait until the next full moon. (That's like a month) Justin will be willing to wait that long, Justin doesn't want to leave a kid like Sue alone. This will upset Sue, Sue will tell Justin and the others to get the orb without her. When the scene is over go over to Dight Inn and save if you want. Then leave Dight, when you're on the world map go to Mysterious Vanishing Hill. Get the bag of gold immediately when you enter. Then go south then west get the bag of gold along the path and enter Mysterious Vanishing Hill. Save at the save point and step on the block to your east. Go east across the bridge then go south. Get the treasure it's a SILV KEY. Now go back to the save point and check the large door there. You will see a boss monster if you're ready go and fight it! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XII Massacre HP: 1800 Exp: 1000 Gold: 2000 Difficulty: Medium Attacks: Healer: Medium healing attack; 200 HP Burnflame: Medium Fire attack; Range Spincut: Multiple Major attack; single This battle shouldn't be too difficult since his eye and body are connected. Stop the eye from healing at all costs. Burnflame shouldn't hurt you to bad so you really don't have to worry about that. Spincut is deadly and should be stopped curing will be necessary after that. Keep your HP above 40 and you will live through the fight. Most attack killers do a good job against him, water attacks like icicle are decent but not really needed. Dragon King Slice is not a recommended killer. ########################################################################### After the battle Justin will ask Gadwin how close are they to finding the ore. After that you will get a scene with Sue, Dr. Alma will have some sort of small animal for Sue to swallow but Sue doesn't want it. Dr. Alma will tell Sue she needs her rest, she can also tell that there is something bothering her. Sue will ask the doc is she really just a child. She also thinks Justin is selfish for leaving without her. Dr. Alma will explain that Justin is growing up fast he's at that age where he starts getting bigger quicker. In another 5 years Sue will start to grow as well. You will be back with the rest of the party. Gadwin will tell Justin the summit is not far from where they are. When you gain control go back to the save point and save. Then go south get on the block and it will take you up. Now go east and get the bag of gold and go south and another block will take you down. Go south hit the right switch then the left one. Then go up the stairs on the left. Hit the switch up there and retrieve the GOLD KEY. Now go back to he save point and hit the block to our west. Continue west a door will open, monsters will come out. You almost have to fight, so go right at them for initiative. When you defeat the first set quickly get the treasure it's HELTHWED. Go west and to the door and it will open. Take the block up go south and take another block up. Get the bag of gold and go back down using the block. Then go south when you are near the bridge position your self so you can run strait up the middle, that way you will make it over the bridge barely. Now go east then south and get the treasure a WIND CHRM. Now go north and up the block you will see another boss like enemy. Cure your self if needed and go fight it! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XIII Massacre Machine HP: 2000 Exp: 1200 Gold: 2000 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Howlslash: Medium Wind attack; All Bodyslam: Major Attack: Single Spincut: Multiple Major attack; single Full Moon Cut: Multiple Major attack; Range This battle will be tough. This new version of Massacre has beefed up wind defense plus a couple of new moves. Full Moon Cut can devastate all that are near it. Bodyslam does decent damage but it only hits once. Dragon King Slice does decent damage but I still don't recommend using it. Try to cancel him as much as possible, for the best effect get him while he's going over the ACT line. He isn't really that much harder the only difference is you'll lose turns by curing. Definitely cure his arsenal is too deadly to try to do desperation killers unless his HP is low ########################################################################### After the battle Gadwin will complement Justin on his strength and then you will be presented with a puzzle. What you ant to do here is the pillars. The buttons in front of the pillars make them go up. By pressing the bottom button you reset the pillars back to normal and then that start changing the order. Remember which one went where and how did it go and the puzzle will be solvable. If you get it right then the pillars will form stairs, hit the button once they form stairs to lower the pillar that wasn't moving. Go up them and get the Teleportation Orb. Justin will be anxious to hurry back to Sue. Feena then tells Justin what if this happens again even when Sue gets better and there is no doctor like Dr. Alma around to take care of her. When you gain control leaving Mysterious Vanishing Hill. Return to Dight and go to Dr. Alma's clinic. Justin will rush in and tell Sue he got the orb. Sue when then tell Justin she's want to stop going on adventures and she'll wait until she's an adult to go on another one. Feena and Gadwin will agree to Sue's decision, Justin will be against it wanting Sue to continue going on adventures with them. Sue will tell Justin again she doesn't want to go on adventures. Then Justin tells her he will wait until she gets better to go on. Sue will then tell Justin she couldn't keep up with him even when she was feeling fine. Justin doesn't want to leave Sue in Dight. Dr. Alma will tell him people normally go back to their home village when they get better. Justin then decides to use the teleportation orb to get Sue back to Parm. Feena and Sue are against this idea, Justin thinks it's the best idea for the Teleportation Orb. Justin knows it will be difficult to cross the sea but he's up for the fact that it will be difficult and that means more adventures. Now Sue will decided to use it, Gadwin will say good-bye now he has other matters to intend to, he won't be able to see Sue off. Gadwin will be waiting at the Dight Inn for your return. Sue will rejoin the party when you're ready leave Dight and return to Mysterious Vanishing Hill. There is no need to unequipped Sue of anything or stash her items. Once you're inside go south and into the small cave. Get the bag of gold on the west side of the cave and then check the thing in the middle. Justin will put the orb in and a thing will rise out of the middle of the floor. The screen will flash and then you will see 3 screens that show Parm. Sue will seem anxious to get back to Parm and all the things she loved there. She'll give Justin some last words and Justin seems saddened by Sue leaving while Sue seems unaffected. Feena will go over to Sue Feena knows she's holding her feelings in. Sue will start crying, Sue didn't want to cry Feena will console her and tell her to let it go. Feena will hold Sue in her arms, Sue is sad about everything about leaving about missing the adventures. Feena will tell she'll always be with her, her spirit will be there. Feena will tell Sue her and Justin will see her again. Sue will be cheered a little and go through a portal and be back in Parm. Sue wants to be remembered happy, Sue tells Justin to keep going he'll find Angelou. In a flash Sue will be gone, Justin then promises himself he will cross the Sea of Mermaids for Sue. When you gain control leave here and return to Dight. Go to the Inn, Gadwin will be there. He say's Justin is a real man since he can deal with a goodbye to a friend. He also is thinking of crossing the sea with you. Gadwin will leave and says he's going back to the Valley of the Flying Dragon. Save at the Inn, leave Dight and go to Valley of the Flying Dragon. Make the long trip back to Gadwin's House if you forgot it's in the beginning of Valley of the Flying Dragon (3), go inside it and recover and save. Speak to Gadwin who is outside, he will tell Justin he has overcame a lot of obstacles. He is almost a full-fledged man, Gadwin will want another duel. Feena thinks that's a crazy idea, Gadwin tells her to step back him and Justin must go at it. ########################################################################### Boss Fight XIV Gadwin vs. Justin 2 HP: 1525 Exp: 4000 Difficulty: Very Easy Attacks: Eruption Cut- Medium Fire/weapon attack: Range Flying Dragon Cut: Minor Attack: Single Dragon King Slice: Major Fire/Earth/Weapon attack; All This battle is child's play. He'll attack you for most of the battle. He'll conserve his killers for the end of the battle. You should probably do the same just hit him with combos until he starts pulling out the Eruption Cut. Make sure your HP is over 60 when he is about to do Dragon King Slice. I decided to work on my water magic during most of this battle. I used weapon killers only. ########################################################################### After the battle Gadwin will praise Justin's progress. He will teach Justin his secret move Dragon King Slice. (You might be able to do it all ready if your fire and earth are decent) He will also allow Justin and Feena to use his boat in Dight. Gadwin will announce he has no reason to come along, Justin is stronger than him. He must train, Justin is now man enough to make it across the sea. Gadwin will walk away Justin promises himself he'll get bigger and stronger. Leave the Valley of the Flying Dragon and return to Dight. *************************************************************************** 3f: Crossing the Sea of Mermaids Levels: Justin: 18-19; Feena 17-18 Once you there go to the far end of the town near the dragons nest. You will see a pier and Dr. Alma waiting. Dr. Alma will tell you that this boat was in Gadwin's family for generations and it's very strong it will make it across the sea. If you're ready to leave tell Alma. She will step aside and let you through, Justin and Feena will board the boat and sail out of Dight. The screen will change to the middle of the sea. Justin will be inside the boat while Feena is sitting outside. Justin won't know where she is. When you gain control go to the save point. You will find out that all the skills of Gadwin and Sue that you obtained are in the stashing place. Take what you need for Justin and Feena some you can't use yet like Sue's bow. Step outside and Feena will be there. She's admiring the ocean and the moon Feena wants Justin to sit next to her. Tell her what you want either way she will get up and sit next to Justin. Feena will mention this is the first time they are adventuring alone. Justin will be at a loss for words, Feena will notice this and tell Justin she's been thinking lately. She will ask Justin to guess what she's been thinking about. I chose about him, Justin has some funny things to say and laughs them off. Feena tells him he is partially correct. Feena tells Justin she's remembering the voyage to New Parm. Justin seems scared by it because he remembers being treated kid and not receiving the Adventurer's Greeting. Feena did that because she thought she would never go on an adventure with him. Feena tells Justin he is much stronger and braver since then, his place in her heart has grown since then as well. Feena will then talk about how happy she was with Leen, when Leen left she got lonely. She's afraid that everyone will leave her. She'll ask Justin if they could be together forever, Of course I said "Of course". Feena will tell Justin she feels safe with him, no one can take his place not even Leen. Feena will then ask Justin if he loves her. I said of course to that too, but he won't get the question right. Feena meant man and woman love. Justin will finally get it, and he thinks Feena is more beautiful now than before. He then feels weird by what he is saying, Feena feels the same way. She starts saying he is special then they both will hear a sound. Justin will check it out and see that there is a young woman there. Justin decides to go and help the girl, the screen will change the young woman will get up. Justin's a little stricken by the girl, the girl will tell Justin those pirates captured her and she escaped. She will beg for Justin's help. Feena will get more jealous by the second, the girl will tell Justin that pirates have their whole land under siege. She will beg for the help of a brave hero. Justin will vow to defeat the pirates, the girl will thank Justin. Feena mega jealous will of course get angry Hilarious! :) The screen will change to the boat docked on a small island. A small note the music in the background is excellent. Because if you listen carefully you'll recognize what sounds exactly like the Final Fantasy prelude playing underneath ocean noises. The girl will thank Justin some more and Feena thinks this is all suspicious. Justin dense as a log will think nothing of it and feel it's his duty to help her. When you gain control return to the boat stash if needed then save. Leave the boat and go northeast, when you come to a fork go west. When you come to another fork go east and you will get a RAIN WEED. Now go back to the main path go north and at the next fork go east then go north. Then go east again for a LIF FRUIT. Go back west then go north. Follow the path here then go east then south. Go around the little island and you will find a way up. There will be four more girls there, Justin will announce he is the hero who came to rescue them. They will all thank Justin, and tell them there sister is being held captive in the back. Go back there and you will see another girl all alone. She thanks Justin and then ask if he could be her dinner! Justin will realize they were the mermaids, she will turn into a large monster and go after Justin and Feena! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XV Grinwhale HP: G.Whale 1525; HP: Lure 1733 Exp: 4400 Gold 6000 Difficulty: Very Hard Attacks: Lure: Entice- Medium attack; Single Whale: Body Blow- Medium Attack; Cancels; Single Electric Shock- Wind Water Major attack; All This battle will be difficult. Don't fight the Lure because even if you kill it you will be too weak to kill Grinwhale. If you have Lotus Cut it does excellent damage to Grinwhale and it cancels Lure at the same time. Canceling Lure will be your main objective in this short-handed battle, so regulate someone to doing that. Grinwhale will slip them anyway just keep Justin's HP high since it does 40 damage. Body Blow is a cancel move and he uses it a lot, which makes it even more dangerous than any attack. Electric Shock is strong but it's rare. Offensively anything of fire will do good damage against him, you might have the Flame Whip for Feena and Lotus Cut will make this battle a lot easier. Burnflame does good damage but not as a good as a Killer. ########################################################################### After the battle the island will start to sank, Feena and Justin will make it off. They will sail away and it will be later at night. Justin will be outside on the boat alone. He is thinking about how if Feena weren't there the Mermaids would have ate him. Feena will be out there now and tell him it's ok he's special. Justin will want to know how he is special, and Feena will tell him he doesn't get it :) Suddenly Feena will see land, you will see a scene of the boat seeing the land in the horizon. This goes on for about a minute or so then you will be prompted to enter Disc 2. He is ready to find Alent! When you gain control go east then go south and get the bag of gold. Now go back on the east path when you see a fork go south, don't go near the big flowers and go north. Then go east and go south, then take the west fork then go south and get the bag of gold. Continue going south and you will see a tent, a mogay will come out. It's Guido, Justin forgot Guido's name. Guido heard about the "brave couple" thing from Gumbo Village. He will invite you inside for carrots, Justin and Feena will go in. Justin will be finishing the Brave Couple story for Guido. Guido will hear that they saw a lot of spirits, Guido will also know Justin has a piece of the Spirit Stone. Guido will then let you ask him questions. Guido says the holder of the spirit stone is the person the spirits accept. Guido also says follow the path of the spirit stone where it goes. Guido however doesn't know where Alent is but he knows the road will be clear if Justin stays true to himself. The spirits have a role for Justin but hr has to find that too. Guido will tell you that the Mogay are travelers, they're trying to find ways to help the world. It's late so Justin and Feena sleep there. The next morning you will be outside of the tent. Guido tells you that the next town is Cafu. Ahead of Cafu is Zil Padon, where he lives. Justin and Feena will start to leave but Guido will stop them. Guido wants money for putting them up last night, he'll take 100 G. When you gain control speak to Guido again and save. Then go east and go into Virgin Forest (2). Once there go northeast go east at the fork use the (!) to get over the lily pads. Once you're over go northeast then south get the pot of gold, now continue going south at the fork. Then get the bag of gold, and the WATR CHRM. Go back north then west then use the (!) to get over the river. Continue going west then go north for a RESU POTN. Then use the (!) to get across the lily pads. Go north get the bags of gold. Go east then north then go east you'll see a little boy, he'll ask if you know the password. Then he'll see Justin and Feena's short ears and call them Tower Rats, he will disappear in a puff of leaves. Now continue along this path into Virgin Forest (3). Someone will say leave or die, Justin will call this person out. All of a sudden Justin and Feena will fall into a hole. Next scene you will see the little boy and a bunch of other boys. The little one from earlier is named Nicky, the leader is named Rapp. Rapp will want to fight. Feena tries to explain they're adventurers passing through. Rapp won't believe it, Rapp then sends Nicky and the others to get more kids. Justin and Rapp are about to fight. When Nicky calls Rapp for help Rapp will leave to see what's the matter. Follow Rapp and go to the save point and save. This is the last "Help" Save point :( You will see a monster, Rapp will going to help and Justin offers help too. Rapp reluctantly excepts the help. ########################################################################### Boss Fight XVI Trent HP: Trent: 2249; HP: Arm 1336; Flower: 1385 Exp: 4000 Gold 6500 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Sleep Gas: Put's all to sleep Flower Beam: Medium Attack; Range This battle will be tough plus you are using the new character Rapp. Forget the arm and the flower unless you have a bunch of HP and SP. If you don't just go for Trent. Trent's Sleeping Gas is rap, but he will get you with his arm or his flower beam which can whipe out a weak party. Flower Beam often time misses if he lines it up wrong it won't hit anyone. The arm is major offense attack it'll take some HP off. Cancel him when that arm is ready to attack. Your main offense should be Justin using Dragon King Slice or Lotus Cut. Feena should use the Alheal if the party is too weak. Rapp should use the missile because it's quick and it does decent damage. ########################################################################### After the fight Rapp will realize that Justin and Feena aren't with the rats in the tower. He will apologize for earlier so will Nicky. Justin will introduce himself to Rapp properly. Rapp will send Nicky to inform the people of Cafu of the guests. Justin will want to know about the rats in the tower. Rapp will explain more if he comes to Cafu with him. Rapp joins the party at level 20. Go back to the save point and save, from the save point go east and into the Virgin Forest (4). Now go east, at the fork continue east then south get the LE SHIELD. Now go back north then go west then go north and east and get the pot of gold. Continue going east then north then go west go north at the next fork. Now go west, then northwest and get the MAGE SEED. Now go south get the bag of gold continue south until you see the large flowers. Then go east and get the bag of gold, now go around the shrubbery then go east and south. You will be on the world map select Cafu Village. Once you're inside a couple of people will question Rapp about Feena and Justin because they are short eared. They won't like them because of this, anyway check out the weapon store. There is also an inn, which contains a stash place. When you're done exploring go to the west side of the village to the elders house. Go down the rope and speak to him. He'll tell Justin and Feena people who looked like them came and built a tower. The tower petrified the whole forest including the town they use to live in. The elder asks Rapp if he is going there today, Rapp will confirm he is and Justin will ask to come along. Leave the elder's house and go to the inn to rest and save. Then leave Cafu. *************************************************************************** 4b: Tower of Doom Levels: Justin 20-22; Feena 19-20; Rapp 20-21 When you're on the world map select Petrified Forest. Once you're there go north until you come upon Petrified Cafu. Rapp will explain when he was young the tower was built. Then the people there petrified the town and some of the people in it. Most of the people got away but some didn't including both of his parents. Everyone who got away built the New Cafu. Justin then wants to destroy the towers, Rapp doesn't think they can do it alone. But Justin urges them to. Feena and Rapp go along with it. Go north from here and you will get a DEF SEED. Then continue going north when you see the bag of gold go around the broken flower stem and get it. Then go back north and get the MAGE SEED. From there go west and get the pot of gold. Now go back east go all the way east until you hit a wall of brush then go north and get the bag of gold. Now go north then west at the fork and go into Petrified Forest (2). Go northwest get the bag of gold then go north at the fork, the path will lead west. Now go south continue going south and get the COOKIES. Now go west and you will be at the foot of a mountain. Go up and you will see the tower is on the other side of where you are. Justin can tell by the looks that the building is connected to Garlyle. Now you will be on the world map head back to Cafu for any last minute supplies. If you don't go to Cafu just go to Tower of Doom. When you're inside Rapp can tell someone has been here. When you gain control get the RSQ SET from behind the warehouse. Then go inside the warehouse to rest and save. Now leave and go north then west everyone will stop a huge woman will come out of the building. According to Rapp she's Lainian. She seems very angry, she will see Justin and Feena and think they're with the people in the tower. Rapp will get angry and threaten her, and suddenly she will absolutely floor Rapp! Justin and Feena run over but the woman wants to take them out too! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XVII Milda HP: 2800 Exp: 2300 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Milda Hit- Devastating attack single; Critical damage Not that Milda has a lot of attack as you can see but she is tough. Milda hit is speratic but it can reduce you to tears if your HP is under 90. You heard me right 90! It's just that powerful, her normal attacks were doing 50 HP worth of damage! Use Midair cut because any magic attacks do poor damage. Feena should cure as much as possible since her attacks are mostly magic attacks. Don't turn it into a cure fest though that's the road to a sure Game Over. Because you probably won't be able to cure fast enough and just when you think it's safe a Milda Hit might kill Justin or Feena. Mid Air cut does healthy damage and Justin is much faster than Milda. ########################################################################### After the fight Milda will be knocked out. She will mumble about Justin being strong and destroying the tower. Justin will decide to move both Milda and Rapp to the warehouse. Once you're there Milda will get up, she will wonder why Justin and Feena didn't kill her. Justin will explain he's an adventurer and not a soldier. Milda will explain that she came to the tower to destroy it but was caught by the soldiers here. She will then apologize to Justin and Feena, and then Rapp will come to. Rapp still wants to fight Milda Justin will stop him. Milda will apologize to Rapp as well but he clearly wants nothing to do with her. Milda will allow Rapp to get a revenge hit but Rapp won't take it. Rapp will reluctantly accept Milda. Milda will join your party at Level 35. When you gain control save in the warehouse and then leave it. Return to where you met Milda go inside the warehouse there and get the treasure it's a TRUST. Leave this warehouse and go west then into the Tower of Doom. Save once you're inside then go east, go through the doorway to the west and get the VACCINE and the bag of gold. Then use the (!) to bust through the wall. Inside the next room go through the doorway, go east around the room into the doorway there. Once you're in the next room go out of it and into the hallway. Go west then south then go into the east door for a pot of gold. Leave back out of this room and go south ignore the stairs and go in the doorway and get the bag of gold. Now leave out of here and go up the stairs to the 2nd floor. When you get to the circular platform go east ignore the first fork and continue east. Then take the fork going east at the next fork go south and through the door and get the HR HAMMER. Leave out of the room and go north go into the room and go down the stairs the 1st floor. Go east and into the laser room you can just run through the lasers into the next room. Get the RUN SEED in the corner and use the (!) the computer will break. Now go back to the laser room and get the bag of gold. Leave out and got through the heavy metal doorway. Continue going south you'll be at the entrance. Save and recover at the save point if you wish then go up the stairs to Doom Second Floor. Go through the doorway there don't touch the red squares so just walk around the room. Then go through the doorway with the guard in front of it, go north all the way down the hall then through the doorway. Get the bag of gold and use the (!) to destroy the computer. Go back to the red floor plate room and go through that doorway. Go to the circular floor and go east the north at the first fork. Go up the stairs to the Doom third floor. Use the save point to save, then turn the switches off. Go through the doorway go south get the bag of gold. Now go north then go through the south doorway go around the platform to the other door. Go east get the bag of gold now go west and into that room for a PLUG SUIT. Now go back to the room with the save point and turn the switches on. Go in the previous locked room that was on the other side of the platform. Turn off the switches there then go back to the save point side. Go into the east room that was locked for a VACCINE. Go to the west room for a bag of gold, and then go to the stairs room. Go up the stairs to the Laboratory Room. Once you're there go to the girder everyone will stop and look at the thing in the middle of the room. The thing is moving or breathing or something you will get a cinema of it. After that the 3 Sgt. will come in the room, they are talking about reporting about the thing in the middle of the room to General Baal. Its called Gaia, the growth of it stopped. Saki mentions it creating the ideal world. A hologram of Baal will appear. Saki tries to lie about the growth but Baal knows it's not growing. Saki promises it will have progress. Baal mentions it petrified the near by village. This will anger Rapp, anyway Baal will want to see progress fast and this is their duty for now on. Baal will disappear Rapp wants to go at it and Justin wants to destroy it. When you gain control go down the stairs, Justin will slash the panel in front of Gaia. Nana will see him doing it now they have Justin! Suddenly the glass around Gaia will give and it will open and spread across the room. The Sgt. see it and run the other soldiers try to get out but they get petrified. The party will be protected by the spirits, the middle of Gaia will open and a monster will come out they have no choice! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XVIII Gaia Battler HP: G. Battler: 2473; R. Hand 1708; L. Hand 1972 Exp: 5700 Gold: 7800 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Lightening: Water Wind Fire Attack; all FORGET THE ARMS. They're not that deadly so just concentrate on the body. Lightening is deadly since it takes about half your hp away. Battler's Arms come in at 50 Hp's worth of damage. Focus on stopping it from using lightening to live through this battle. Justin should use Mid Air Cut as opposed to Lotus or Dragon King Slice because Gaia Battler has a high magic defense. Feena should cure the wounded since most of her killers are Hp base. Doppelganger is good when it's Rapp turn, and Milda should use her Milda Hit then use combos since they do excellent damage. ########################################################################### After the battle Rapp and Milda will accept each other and their villages. Everyone will see what Gaia leaves. Milda will have an idea if they can figure the thing out then they can return the old Cafu back to normal. Rapp will want to show it to his grandfather, and judging by Feena she doesn't think that it's a good idea. Anyway when you gain control go back to the first floor and save there. When you leave the tower Milda will think it's a bad idea for her to go to Cafu because she is from Laine. Rapp will reassure her it's ok because she's his guest. Leave the encampment and return to Cafu. *************************************************************************** 4c: Going to Laine Levels: Justin: 22; Feena: 20-21; Rapp: 21-22; Milda: 35 When you return to Cafu there will be no reception. The elder and a few others will be outside of the gate of Cafu. No outsiders, they made an extreme exception with Justin and Feena but no Lainians for any reason. Milda will understand their rules But Rap as defiant as ever wants to let her in as well. The elder will allow her to stay outside of the gate at the inn. Rapp will stay with her and the others. The Elder will check out Gaia and sprout though. When you gain control go over to the Inn speak to the man and he'll give you a meal segment. This one will focus on Feena being upset over Gaia. Milda will mention her husband Darlin is a wiseman he is always talking about Alent. Justin decides that Laine will be there next destination. After the meal segment Feena will say she's going outside. Justin will decide to go and see what's bothering her. When you gain control of Justin speak to the innkeeper and save. Leave the inn go west of the inn and into Home Tree Plaza. Go to the end of the path and you will Feena sitting there. She's still thinking about the Gaia monster, she's also thinking about what her sister knows about this. All of a sudden the ground will rumble and Milda and Rapp will run over. Milda will tell them the tower people are here. When you gain control go back to the main part of Cafu. You'll have to fight immediately. After the fight speak to Nicky he says guys from tower are attacking. When you're finished speaking to him speak to the elder near the gate more Black Beret's! When you're done Rapp will beg to be let in and to help. The Elder will complain he's blind and deaf :) Once you're inside go east fight off the soldiers then go up the hill you'll see Leen. Leen knew that Justin and Feena had something to do with the Tower of Doom. Feena will begin to cry because her sister not only knew about Gaia but also is willing to defend it. Gaia will start to grow, the spirits will protect the party but two soldiers get petrified. Leen will say it's ok for her to adventure but stay out of the way of the Forces. The Gaia Sprout will grow bigger and then Leen will grow wings! The Sprout will return to normal, Leen will say the old Leen is dead. (Not literally she meant the Leen that Feena grew up with it) Leen is an Icarian, the screen will flash and Leen and the Gaia Sprout will be gone. Go south near the entrance the elder will be there along with others, speaking to the elder. He says its the outsider's fault all of this happened. They provoked the people in the tower, he tells them to go back to the end to prevent anything else from happening. When you gain control return to the inn and save with the innkeeper. Speak to the innkeeper again for a meal segment. This one is based on the shock of the previous events and Leen being an Icarian. After you get rest and gain control leave the inn. The elder will be outside, the people of the village decided it would be best if Milda Justin and Feena left. Rapp doesn't like it but the rest will go along with it. Juss tells Rapp that they'll come back when he's the elder. Rapp doesn't want that he wants to continue going with Juss, so Rapp will permanently join the party here. When you gain control leave out the gate Nicky and the other young'uns will be there. Nicky is bummed out about Rapp leaving. He also took a liking to Milda, Rapp promises Nicky he will be back. Milda suggest they go to Laine next. But Laine is far from here, you have to go over Zil Desert to Zil Padon, and then you'll be in Laine. Leave Cafu and when you're on the world map select Zil Desert. Save at the save point there once you're inside. Go south you'll have to fight off the cactus men to get the 2 RESU POTN, CACT THRN, CACT ARMR. After this continue going south then go west if you want to challenge a side quest called Soldiers Grave Yard. The enemies there give poor exp but they're good to practice your skills on. If you don't care like I did or really punked out once you died there continue going south. You'll end up in South Zil Desert. Save at the nearby save point then go south then go east and get the ANKLET. Then go west near the save point and the ground will be raised slightly and let you up the hill. Go east and around the bend going west, continue going west all the way To the other side then go south and go east and get the DEF SEED. Go north then west go up the little hill then go east, near here will be the Castle of Dreams. Like the Soldier Grave Yard it's a place with poor exp tough monsters and decent items. If you don't care after you went west then north go up a small hill and go north. Go up the little hill around the bend for a GIL SWORD. Now go east then go south get the bag of gold. Then go west around the mountain and go south and on to the world map. Select Zil Padon, once you're inside Milda will tell you there is an inn down the street. But Rapp wants to explore first. When you're done exploring go to the Inn and save. Speak to the Inn keep for a meal segment. This meal segment is based on how the people here aren't united, and how the Mogay travel for items. There is a weapon store near here you might want to check out. Anyway there isn't much of real importance in Zil Padon right now, so go back to the world map. Select Savannah Wilderness, once you're there and gain control go along the dry riverbed. Go around the rock and go to the southwest eventually you'll come across a bridge cross it going southeast. Now go south and you'll be back on the world map. I'm sure there was a ton of items here but since I'm lazy I decided not to go look for any. If you want items look at someone elses FAQ. Anyway now go to Brinan Plateau, once inside go south and save at the save point. Now go west then south on to the path go west go north at the fork, for a pot of gold. Go back south then go west then south break the rock and continue south for a bag of gold. Then go back north then go east then south. Now go west, when you come to a fork take the path on Justin's left. Break the rock and continue along the same path. Get the POW SEED now go north then west and into South Brinan Plateau. Save and recover there go south and get the LIFE SEED. Now go north then go east then south; when you come to a fork take the path going east then go south. At the next fork go west and use the (!) to make the snowball go. Now go east then go south get the bag of gold and go back north. All the way back to the save point, go west until you hit a wall then go south. Ignore the rock and continue going south along that path and get the SIL SWORD. Go back north then break the ice rock go east use the (!) to move the snowball. Now go west then go north, and take the east fork. Then go south, now go east and follow along the winding path, then go north then east and you'll be on the world map. Finally select Laine Village. *************************************************************************** 4d: The Two Laines Levels: Justin: 22-24; Feena: 21-22; Rapp: 22-23; Milda: 35-36 When you enter Laine, Milda will tell you that all the men of Laine Village are very smart, and of them the wisemen are the smartest. When you gain control go strait and Milda will stop, she'll see her husband and run into his arms. At first I though it was a huge sack of walking dung, then I realized he was a bull which made Milda a cow. Anyway Milda will introduce Darlin to the party Darlin will welcome you. The screen will shift to inside of Milda's house; Darlin thanks you for stopping the Tower of Doom. None of the Wise Men could figure out why Cafu Village was petrified. Darlin then jumps to the conclusion that the Gaia monster might be the reason that the Angelou disappeared. Milda will tell Darlin that Justin and Feena are searching for the Angelou Civilization. Darlin would rather talk about Justin's stone, Justin will tell him it's the Spirit Stone. Justin will also show him his Medal of Honor and tell him he met Liete. Darlin will then call him the "Chosen One" Darlin says it's his duty to help him find out about Angelou along with the other Wisemen. You'll then get to ask Darlin some questions. Darlin says that when the spirit stone is one an Icarian will be born. He will also tell you that Liete is not an Icarian, but she's the Priestess of the Shrine of Alent. He also says by going to Alent he might be able to help the people of Cafu. He says he can't open the gate but Justin can. He also says that a great power is what made Angelou prosper, but the power also made Gaia fall. But Darlin isn't 100% sure if it was Gaia, he tells you to ask Derlin who knows more about Angelou history. Speak to Darlin again and he tells you that Derlin lives two doors down with kids in the front and an ax against the side. Leave Milda's house and go 2 doors to the west and you will see Derlin's house, and go inside. Speak to Derlin and Milda will introduce the party to him. Derlin says he heard about the Tower of Doom incident from a Mogay. Derlin also says the Cafu incident was like the end of Angelou. Feena will ask was Gaia responsible, Derlin thinks so. Derlin says when Angelou fell the number of spirits decreased. Feena will figure out that Gaia grows on Spirits, he says that the lack of spirits is what caused the forest and people to petrify. If the spirits were return to the people they may return to normal. Derlin will also tell you that a book he has contains the reasoning and answer to these problems but the page that contained the information was torn out. So the only thing you can do is going to Alent, Derlin doesn't know how to get to Alent but Dorlin the last wiseman does. Derlin isn't quite sure that you should go and see Dorlin. Leave Derlin's house and Milda will tell you that Dorlin has a crush on Liete :) Now when you gain control go to the southeastern most point of Laine and you will find a path leading to Dorlin the Great house. Once inside go and speak to him he seems ok at first but as soon as Justin mention's Liete he wants to know about her. He then thinks Justin is Liete, he also tells you to go to Alent and find her. He isn't right, everyone can clearly see he lost his mind. Milda explains he actually lost his horn, his horn was left in the other Laine Village. Justin then figures out their knowledge comes from their horns. Dorlin then babbles on about Liete, Rapp suggests they get the horn to make sense out of him. When you gain control leave Dorlin's, Milda will explain a few years ago something happened in Laine and they had to leave so they built a new Laine. They all come to the conclusion that Gaia probably ruined the old Laine. Go to the inn and save, you can have an un-mandatory meal segment if you wish. If not just leave Laine. Once you're back on the world map select Abandoned Laine Village. When you get there... well what can you say about this place. Milda explains that Darlin says that time was warped and twisted some how. Milda will say Dorlin lived the furthest from the gate and now this place is full of monsters. When you gain control save at the save point, then go east then north then go west. Get the bag of gold continue going west then go north into the house. Once you're on the other side go west. Continue going west pass the fork get the pot of gold and go into the house. Once you're on the other side go west, continue going west pass the fork get the pot of gold. Then go into the house and once you're on the other side go north and up the ladder into another house. Once you're on the other side get the bag of gold. Then go in to Warp Space (2). Save once you're there, go north at the fork go west for a POW SEED. Now go east it'll look like a dead end, but you'll be folded up in a box and be transported. Get the bag of gold once you gain control then go east and down the stairs, go north then west for a pot of gold. Now go back east then go south then go west up the stairs then north along another path. Then up some more stairs. Get the treasure it's an OGRE HELM. Go back south then east then south and get the PRIMERIB. Now go north then east then north up the path, then east then south and west and up the stairs. Go across the clear bridge continue going west then go north, and get the bag of gold. Now go south then west and up the stairs and then go north. The box will take you away when you gain control go east get the bag of gold, go into the only door that will open. If you don't know it's the north most door into Warp Space (3). Once you get there go north take the northwest fork then go north take the north east side of the brown wall thing at the fork. Go north then west then north until you reach a save point. Save and recover there, go in the door way area to the Warp Space Core. Go north a worm will come out of the ground and drop what looks like a Gaia Battler! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XIX Gaia Battler 2 HP: G. Battler: 3567; R. Hand 2528; L. Hand 2573 Exp: 6300 Gold: 8600 Difficulty: Medium Attacks: Lightening: Water Wind Fire Attack; all Almost the same fight from the last time. It's just got more HP and it's a bit stronger. It does all the same things and you probably won't have too much trouble putting it away. I actually felt this battle was easier than the last, because now you know how to beat him. He still have a high magic defense, you still shouldn't go for his arm. Just use Weapon Killers and Combo's and you will have no trouble. ########################################################################### After the battle go north inside the chest will be the horn. Make the long journey the hell out of there. Return to Laine and go to Dorlin's house, he'll be talking gibberish. Milda will put the horn on his head. He's back to his senses, Justin will show him the medal he says that is the key to the shrine in Zil Padon. He'll explain that Zil Padon is an ancient city. They have the Medal of Wisdom but you need to have the Medal of Honor to get it. The Mogay have it because they're the oldest people of the land. The Mogay have been here since the Angelou. He also says the shrine will have to prove the person who holds the medal worthy. Then the Mogay can hand over the knowledge key. To get to Alent you have to go to Zil Padon. You'll have to throw the key into the spring and the path to Alent will open. For his own sake he wants Justin to burn the image of Liete in his mind so he can see her for himself. Even with the horn he still has it for Liete. Leave Dorlin's house, when you leave Milda will say "good-bye". She wants to stay in Laine with Darlin, she wishes y'all luck in Alent. Milda will then permanently leave the party, Like with Sue and Gadwin Milda's stuff is in the stash along with her weapon skills. Then leave Laine. *************************************************************************** 4e: The oldest Mogay & Underground Ruins Levels: Justin: 23-25; Feena: 22-23; Rapp: 23-24 When you're on the world map select Zil Padon. Everyone will ponder about where the temple is located. Justin will think it's the fountain, everyone decides to check it out. Head towards the bridge with the ramp going down. When you get there Rapp will see the 3 eyes Dorlin spoke of. Justin will be ready to put in the medal but Feena realizes the water will go in the door. Rapp will come up with the idea of him and Justin drinking all the water. Feena knows that's not possible and she remembers Dorlin mentioning they need the permission of the Mogay. A Mogay girl will come over, she will recognize Justin as the holder of the Spirit Stone. She even knew what he would look like, Justin is amazed she knows so much. She will introduce herself as Gina. She says the Mogay Elder has been looking for him. Justin will then ask to be taken to him. Gina says he lives in a cellar in the Mogay side of town. Go to the Mogay section, when you enter go west then south into the Elder's House. Guido will be there; he is glad you came. Justin will tell Guido he needs to go to Alent to help un-petrify the Cafu Village. The Wisemen of Laine told him he needs Mogay approval first. So he wants to speak to the Elder. Guido wants to know why he wants to go to Alent. The correct answer is to Protect the World. Justin will explain at first he just wanted to go there but now he has to go because the world is in danger. Guido will tell you that the Mogay Elder approves of him going to Alent. Justin then figures out that Guido is the Mogay Elder. Guido will then use a switch to drain the fountain. Guido says he doesn't' know what's down there so be prepared. If you're ready tell him so. Justin will insert the medal the place will open. You will see that it's a large labyrinth. Guido will explain that Mogay have always been here ever since it was floating. When you gain control save at the save point. Guido joins your party at level 24. Go east for a bag of gold continue going east until you hit a stone bridge. Now go north then east and follow the winding path into Underground Ruins (2). Once there go east and follow the stone path completely it will wind you in different directions. Until you come upon stairs go down them step on the button and a passage will open go through it and up the stairs. Get the DEF SEED, go back down the stairs then go east. You'll come up on another flight of stairs go down then hit a button and go up the stairs; you'll have to use platform stages to cross. Get on the first floating platform it'll move you to steady platform, to the west, now get on the platform. Take the moving platform going north/south on your west side. Then take the one going east gets off and you'll be on stable ground. Now go west and get on the platform going north/south, get on the next platform to the north so you can get to the treasure, which is a MAIN GAUCH. Now get back on the moving platform and hop on another platform going south. From there get on the west/east platform then onto another north/south platform ride it all the way to the stable platform. Then take the east/west platform to your north. Quickly get on another east/west platform and ride it back on stable land save at the save point. Then go west to Underground Ruins (1). Follow along the path get the RESU POTN on your way. Then take the path to the east into SHRINE (1). Once you are there go right for a RUN SEED. Then left and you have to fight a boss. ########################################################################### Boss Fight XX Ruin Guard HP: R. Guard : 4500; Ax 2350; Boomer 2350 Exp: 7950 Gold: 5160 Item: Jewel; Thu Arrow Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Zap: Wind Fire Attack; range Healer: Restores HP: All Boomerang: medium attack; single This will be difficult, he is pretty fast so he isn't subject to being gang rushed. Magic does little to him so use regular non-magic based Killers. When you run out of SP Attack him. Also since he has 3 parts he can damage bad especially is he has you curing too much. Stay offensive is the key to victory don't make this an affair when everyone is curing everyone and no damage is being done. On offense you should have Justin use any non-magic killer, Feena should be doing the bulk of the curing, Doppelganger is good as well. Guido should be using his arrow killer. Or his killer that gives one of the other characters SP. ########################################################################### After the battle go east get the bag of gold then go up the stairs to Shrine (2). Go up the cool looking bridge and to the medal. Justin will take the Medal of Knowledge. Then get the bag of gold and leave the shrines. Go back to Underground Ruins (2), Justin will notice the platforms have stopped. Then Feena will see the Garlyle Forces! Baal, Leen and Mullen will be there. Ball will know the "chosen one" has been here and he has the spirit stone on him. Ball will want Leen but Mullen will not want to let her go. Ball will tell his son that he must not care about the operation since he won't let him use Leen. Mullen has no choice but to hand her over. Mullen will command his troops to find the Spirit Stone. Feena will remember Baal from the Tower of Doom, Guido then suggest finding as alternative route. When you gain control go back to the save point and save. Then go back to Underground Ruins (1) (The other Underground Ruins (1) the one that is on the way to the Shrine) Go east until you find the Stone Path, Rapp will suggest jumping down. Everyone will do so, when you gain control get the bag of gold and go south into Underground Ruins (3). When you get there everyone will look at the walls nobody has a good feeling about it. Guido will tell you that when the time comes the Golems pained on the walls will come to life. Feena suggest they get going or Garlyle will get them. Now go down the stairs and save at the save point. Continue along the path when it forks stay on the path that you were originally one. Suddenly Mullen will be there, he demands the Spirit Stone but Justin won't give it up. Feena will get in the middle and stop them, suddenly the ground will shake. Mullen looks worried about the soldiers. Then you'll see Baal and Leen as an Icarian in a force field. Baal is forcing her to break the Golem's seal. Leen will call out for Mullen but Baal will tell her Mullen is going to die along with the Chosen One. Leen will call for him again and Baal will increase the strength of the Force field. Now you will see a cinema scene of the Golem's coming to life and killing many soldiers in the process. Then you will see the ground where Mullen and the party are start to shake and Mullen will fall down. The party will run to avoid a similar fate and Justin barely makes it to safe ground. When you gain control run along the path to Underground Ruins (4). Once there follow the path when it forks don't take it and continue the original path for a POW SEED. Now go back to the north and take the west fork, follow it and it will change. You will come to another fork to the west path for a bag of gold. Now go south then east and get to the path going south. Follow this path to reach a bridge with a golem near it. Justin realizes that the Golem is not moving so they can run passed it. Feena doesn't like that idea, anyway run pass and Feena will stop. Another Golem will come along it will hit the ground Rapp and Guido will fall. Feena will scream that her body is burning and she will scream for her sister. Then you'll see Baal is confused by this surge of power, Leen will call out for Feena. Then the only thing Baal can think it is, is another Icarian. You'll get a scene where Justin and Feena are together. A force field is around them the force field will destroy the Golems. Then you'll see Justin alone, he'll call for the others but get no answer. When you gain control go behind the rock for a bag of gold. Then go south for a treasure containing a POW SEED. There's a stash place and a save point nearby as well. Save and stash if needed then go through the doorway to Underground Ruins (2). When you get there go east then north for a bag of gold. Then go east for another bag of gold, go east and you'll see a yellow crystal. Go west then go south you'll see two treasures in a doorway. They contain an ERTH CHRM and a CRIM POTN. Then go south for a bag of gold and then go east, you'll see a red crystal go west then north and then go east you'll see a blue square. Now go southwest then go west, get the SPD SEED. Go back to the blue square go northeast then go east, then go northwest. Then go west continue west then southwest. Go up the stairs to Underground Ruins (B1). Follow along the path until you come to a fork. Take the east path get the bag of gold and the pot of gold. Go east you'll come to a room with a sun in it. Back track to the room with the forks in it. Go north you'll come upon a fork, take the fork to the east. Continue along the path to Underground Ruins (4). Once you are there go across the bridge, Justin we see Mullen. Justin will demand to see Feena. Mullen will tell him to escape with the Spirit Stone. Suddenly a voice will call out and Mullen will throw Justin in the room behind him. 2 Soldiers will come and tell Mullen that most of the soldiers are trapped underneath the rubble. One of the soldiers will ask Mullen why did the General bring them there in the first place. Mullen tells them he will ask the General personally. One of the men says that the General is boarding the Grandeur and he has the Icarian girl with him. Mullen says the Spirit Stone search is cancelled everyone go to the Grandeur before it leaves. Now you will see Justin in a room, he heard everything. Now press the button and the elevator will rise. Go through the door and stay along the path, Justin will wind up outside. He'll see the large airship Grandeur, on the ground he'll see Baal Feena Mullen and the Sergeants. *************************************************************************** 4f: Grandeur Levels: Justin; 25-26; Rapp: 24-25; Guido: 24-25 Baal seems pleased that he got another Icarian, Mullen isn't he's more concerned about the lost soldiers. Baal says he's going to J Base to where Gaia is. Baal says they will offer the Icarian to Gaia he tells Mullen to follow him in the Lyonlot. You'll see Justin trying to chase the airship but he fails. He has no way to get there; suddenly someone will call Justin's name. It's Rapp and Guido! They're on a Flying Manta; Justin will jump on the Manta and join them. Then you will get a scene with Feena and Baal on the airship. Baal now realizes why all the Icarian women had 4 arms, it represented they were all twins. Feena wants nothing to do with him, she says that Justin will rescue her. Baal says he'll deal with him too, and get his piece of the Spirit Stone. Feena vows Justin will defeat Baal. Baal says that Feena will obey him just like Leen did, suddenly an alarm will be heard. Now you will see Justin and the others on the Manta. Justin will fly it up and then a large flash will hit the Manta the party will fall on the airship, everyone seems ok. But more importantly they have to find Feena! Go inside the airship a save point and a stash place will be there. Go north get the MOV FRUIT, go south and down the stairs then go north. When you come to the fork take the west path, and get the bag of gold. From here go east then go north then go east. Then go north then east then north. At the fork go east for a bag of gold. Now go west get the pot of gold in the corner and fo down the stairs. Go southwest for a pot of gold, then go east into the Engine Room. Go east across a girder ignore the southwest fork. Continue east Rapp will stop, Rapp will wonder about the engine room. Justin states the obvious about the engine not being steam powered. Guido can see it's made from Angelou Technology. Go east and save at the save point, go in the Control Room. First get the bag of gold, then go east and everyone will stop. The sergeants! They demand the Spirit Stone, Justin won't give it up, so they say it will end here! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXI Saki Mio Nana HP: Saki: 5000; Mio 3000; Nana 4000 Exp: 9600 Gold: 10320 Difficulty: Extremely Hard Attacks: All: Trinity Attack: Medium attack from all; all Nana: Spinning Yo-Yo: Minor Damage; Range Electric Yo-Yo: Wind Fire minor attack; Range Zap: Wind Fire Attack; all Fiora: ????/?? Saki: Slapstick homerun: Minor attack; Single Speed: Raises Wit +1; Single Max Lariat: Major attack; all Boom: Fire Earth medium damage; Range Wow: high Medium Fire Earth damage; All Mio: Super Balloon; Puts all to sleep Alhealer; Major curing; all Cold: Water Wind attack; Range This battle is very very hard. Trinity can cancel you'll have to get rid of them at a time. So dig into Mio because she's an annoyance with her curing and sleep plus she has the lowest HP. Once Mio is out of the battle they can't use Trinity, now take out Nana. Her nuisance of a spinning yo-yo is like a mosquito bite now. But her Zap is pretty deadly, when these two are gone your SP should be gone as well. Now go relentless on Saki, since you should be doing decent combo damage on enemies ambushing her should be no problem. In the beginning of this fight you should have Rapp use Discutter because they stand in a perfect line. Justin should use Freeze Sword if he has it, since it will do more damage than an attack like Dragon King Slice since it attacks one. Guido should try and get everyone's SP up. It would have been a good idea to equip Guido with a lot of SP returning items since you won't use him much for offense. RSQ SETS are an absolute must have items for this battle since when they are all together Trinity and Sleep and Zap will really put it on you. When you run out of RSQ Sets or don't have any use Alhealer+ or plain Alheal for the group curing. ########################################################################### After the battle they'll claim they let you win, and they were just buying time until they reached J-Base. They'll threaten getting their soldiers to beat you up. Then they will run away, Justin will go over to the control panel and try and figure out a way to stop the ship. Justin doesn't know what to do, Rapp will run over and press buttons. The computer takes it as a "the final order" and the panel explodes. Justin wants to get serious, and find Feena when you gain control go north and get the bag of gold. Go east then south for a bag of gold, then go on the other side of the room for another bag of gold. Now go up the stairs and into the passageway, go strait along the path the room will begin to shake and the ground will split Justin from Guido and Rapp. Rapp says forget then and go find Feena. You'll get a scene of the ship in space breaking in half. When you can control Justin go along the path into the secret passageway. Go east and down the stairs to the Bow. Now go west into the command center. Once inside you'll see Feena and Baal, Baal will laugh at the fact that the Spirit Stone holder is just a boy. He'll trade Justin the Spirit Stone for the Icarian. Feena tells Justin it's a trap he won't let her go, he'll take the spirit stone and kill him. Baal will say that the ship is sinking make the choice. Justin decides to trade, Baal will say that the Angelou was too much for him. Justin will throw the spirit stone to Baal, then Justin will fall in a hole. Baal laughs and says he has the power. Next you'll see Justin clinging to a rope, Justin will climb up and be back in the command center. Go up the stairs you'll be back on the bow. Go east and save at the save point. Go through the doorway go up the stairs it's a dead end. Justin will get on the chair it will take him up. Go south to the escape catapult Baal and Feena will be there. They will call each other, Justin demands. Feena to be released, Baal says Justin has no use for her. Justin then demands she be let go Baal will push Feena away it's time to fight! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXII Baal vs. Justin HP: 2783 Exp: 4500 Gold: 3000 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Healer: Heals self for 200 HP Zap: Wind Fire attack medium; Range Boom-POW-: Medium Earth Fire Attack Howlnado: Level 3 wind attack: Medium Damage He's difficult for one person to fight. All of his attacks do about 40-60 HP's worth of damage. Only pure killers do good damage so don't bother with stabbing your foot with Dragon Cut. Waste him with Killers and Combo him until you get at least 32 SP's for the Mid-Air Cut. All of his extreme magic won' kill you if you keep your HP above 60. ########################################################################### After the battle go over to Feena, and Justin will untie her. Feena knew Justin would save her, this makes Justin return to his over-confident self. Feena reminds him about the Spirit Stone, just then Baal will awaken. He'll say that wasn't his "true Power", he'll take off his cape and reveal half his body is Gaia. Justin will vow to take him down, he will run over and Baal's Gaia Tentacles will knock him down. Feena will run over to see if Justin's ok and he will grab Feena. Justin will get up and come at Baal again but this time Baal flicks Justin off the ship. Feena will some how rip through the tentacles and jump after Justin. Baal doesn't care since he has the Spirit Stone, Baal will go on fire and you will see the ship crash. Now you will see Justin falling, Feena will fall towards him. She doesn't care that they are about to die all she cares about it is she made it. Feena will be knocked out, Justin doesn't want to die this way. Feena will spread her Icarian wings to allow them to float and the Spirits (I think) will surround them. The Flying Manta will come and glide around them for a while. Next thing you'll be on the ground with Rapp and Justin. Justin will mention Feena has been asleep for 3 days. Rapp thinks she'll be ok, the good news is the battle ship was destroyed and Baal is dead. Then Guido will come out of the tent and announce Feena woke up. Everyone will go inside the tent, Rapp will be finishing the story of how he found Justin and Feena. Feena will thank Rapp and Guido, Feena is upset over Justin losing the Spirit Stone. Justin cared more about Feena than the stone, since the stone burned along with Baal there's nothing to worry about. Feena is still worried about being Icarian. Justin doesn’t' care she's Icarian she's still the same person. Feena wants to go to Alent to find out about being Icarian, and about Gaia. Rapp wants to go to after seeing Baal destroyed. Guido is also interested in going to Alent. Guido says speaking to the wiseman of Laine to find out how to get to Alent. *************************************************************************** 4g: Way to Alent Levels: Justin 26; Feena: 24; Rapp: 25; Guido: 25 Leave the tent you will find out you're in North Brinan. Save at the save point go north you'll be on the world map. Go to Laine Village, when you enter Justin suggest seeing Darlin first. Go to Milda's House, Justin want's Darlin's help. The screen will shift everyone will be sitting down. Justin will tell him that he has more questions he needs to get to Alent. He wants to know why Angelou fell, about Gaia Icarians and the Spirit Stone. Justin knows all of his answers are there. Darlin will admit the wisemen are really the gatekeepers to Alent. But they had to wait until Justin was fully ready to let him in. Darlin say's to speak to Dorlin to get into Alent. Leave Milda's house and mousy over to Dorlin's, Justin will show Dorlin he has the key. Dorlin say's it is now time, he tells you to throw the Medallion into the spring and you'll see a rainbow. He says the gate is open and you can go up Rainbow Mountain. Leave Dorlin's and you will get a scene where you see a crater. Inside the crater is an egg or cocoon. After that you will see Colonel Mullen and Lieutenant Leen walking up to Baal. Baal is about to complete the Spirit Stone, Mullen will beg him not to. Ball will tell him the revival of Gaia will complete Operation Yggdrasil. Ball can sense joy in Gaia it can't wait to be revived. Mullen will warn Baal that Gaia can't be controlled. Mullen will remind Baal about that Gaia can't be controlled. Mullen will remind Baal about those who were petrified by Gaia. Baal doesn't care about those who were turned to stone. Baal will tell Mullen the ideal world is one ruled by Gaia and since he is reviving him he will be blessed. Baal will leave, Leen will give Mullen the report on the Grandeur crash. She says he survived the crash on the Grandeur and he's not injured at all. Leen doesn't see how that's even possible, Mullen will remain quiet and then say Baal won't be allowed to complete the Spirit Stone. You will be back with the party and Guido will tell you, that you have to walk around the lake. Go west then south into the base of Rainbow Mountain. Go east cross the rope then get the bag of gold. Go across the south rope, go west and go down the rope. Go south then east across the rope go east for a bag of gold. Go south and get on the first rope going west. Get the treasure there it's a DEF SEED. Go back across the rope and go on the southern west line. Once you're across go on the southern west line. One you’re across go on the other one going east. From there take another rope going west for a pot of gold. Go east and try to cross the northern most rope it will snap. Once you're on the ground go south to the last rope and go across it. Then go south and go across the rope going east. Take the 3rd rope west for a bag of gold. Take the rope to the east go north descend a rope for treasure. It's a SILK. Climb back up the rope and go east to react the Peak. Save and Recover at the Save Point go northwest climb up the rope then go northeast. Then go east get the bag of gold continue going east along the edge and cross the bride. Once you're across go north get the bag of gold and continue north go down the rope and get the treasure it's a TRUST. Go back up the rope and go east and go up go east and go up the rope near the Dungeon Eye. From there go east and get the DEF FRUIT. Go back north then west, then go south across a rope. Then go east until you hit an edge, then go north down a rope. Go west and you'll see the rainbow. Guido will tell Justin to throw the medal in, when he does the screen will flash. The rainbow will disappear and create a pillar to the sky. Guido is happy for Justin, he tells Justin he has to find his way and his job is done. Guido knows his place in this world and it's not going to Alent. He will tell Justin he will find his role in the world once he goes to Alent. Guido will say goodbye to the party and permanently leave it. *************************************************************************** 4h: Priestess of Alent Levels: Justin 26-27; Feena 24-25; Rapp: 25-26 You will get a scene of everyone going up they will be impressed by the view. They will be in outer space; they'll be transported into Alent. You'll see the party in Alent. Justin is ecstatic he finally made it to Alent. Now they can get going, go north up the stairs and get the MANA EGG. Continue going north ignore the east fork, eventually the road will turn east. Go to the save point and save, and stash and get Guido's things. Continue going east and you will see a shadowy Serpent from earlier in the game you'll have to fight! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXIII Hydra HP: Hydra: 3721; Perl Head; 2848; Hot Head; 2292; HP: Nice Head 1742; Awful Head; 2462 Exp: 5000 Gold: 7500 Item: RESU POTN (2), CRIM POTN, BLUE POTN Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Poison Gas: Poisons; All Hot Gas: Medium Fire Attack; All Sudden Death: Kills; Single Crackling: Wind Water attack; All Head Crash: Critical Attack based on Heads; Single Take out the nice head then go after Hydra. It will be hard like this but it will be harder and more time consuming taking out each individual head. Sudden Death sucks so make sure each character has at least 2 resu potns or resurrects. The other attacks will do you in but not as much so as Sudden Death, do a lot of curing to keep your HP high and forget about antidotes that one head does poison too much. Destroy Hydra on offense with Ice Blade Dopplegang or Demon Ball if you have it. Have Feena keep the SP and HP high. ########################################################################### Go back to the save point to save and recover. Go east and go down the ramp, go north go to the Gondola it'll take you west. Go along the path you'll see the next dead boss the Ruin Guard. ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXIV Great Susano-O HP: Susano: 3453; Ax; 2306; Ironball; 1600; Exp: 3000 Item: CHAIN GEM, REVIVAL, EMPR WHIP Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Hammer Shot: Minor Attack Single This battle is a breeze. Go for Susano-O forget his arm and Ball. Stick with weapon based killers and combos. Your killers should be doing tremendous damage by now so you should be able to take him down easily. Unlike his brother Ruin Guard, he's slower and Ironball rarely comes. So just stick to his body and he will go down in about 4 rounds with the right killers. ########################################################################### After the battle return to the same point if you want to save and recover. Then return to where you fought Great Susano-O, take the north path across the rubble. The screen will remain position signaling another "prepared" boss fight. This time it's the brother of Madragon! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXV Phantom Dragon HP: 2976 Exp: 2000 Item: BLUE POTN; GOLD POTN Difficulty: Very Easy Attacks: Crackling: Wind Water attack; All Allhealer+: Major healing; All Insanely easy battle, crackling shouldn't bother you at all but you should however try your best to cancel it. Don't use magic attacks here just use Physical killers. You probably won't have to heal at all so put it all on the line against him. This battle should go by pretty quickly, just like Madragon his body and head are connected. So cancel one then cancel the other and have the 3rd character use a killer. Repeat that strategy until he's finished. ########################################################################### After the battle go north through the door to the Shrine of Alent (Chapel). Liete will be right at the door. She'll welcome the visitors, she says to search for the answers you have. Justin is a little ticked that Liete doesn’t' remember him, Feena will look around and see there are Lietes all over the place! The Liete in front of you will disappear, Save at the nearby save point. You'll find out that all the Liete's are illusions, that the real Liete created them to resemble a city, because she's lives here in solitude. You'll also found out bits and pieces about Gaia, Icarians and the Spirit Stone. Use the view to make sure there is only one Liete near a door left, speak to her and she will tell you about the Icarian Twins and disappear. Enter Papal Hall, Speak to the Liete inside. She'll welcome the Chosen One Justin, she'll tell you she is Liete she inherited the name along with the history of Angelou. She'll start to tell you a story along with cinema, she'll say that people could speak with the spirits. She'll go and say that the Spirits spoke to everyone and everyone learned much from them. She'll say the Spirit Stone gave them power, and people started to get greedy. They stole money and things from the land and then they finally stole the Spirit Stone. That's when Gaia appeared, the Spirit Stone was based on the human spirit bond so by stealing they broke the bond. This was inevitable; Gaia then destroyed most of the world. After this the Spirits sopped talking to people and Icarians ceased to exist. Now you will be in a room with stone tablets in it. She'll tell you when the Spirit Stone was destroyed it hurt the world and the people in it. The Spirit Stone was symbolic with people's heart, so Justin's Spirit Stone was very strong. She'll tell you the tablets behind her reflect the hearts of the Lietes. The Red One's were happy, and the Blue one's were sad. Feena will notice that almost all of the tablets are blue, Liete will explain that ever since the Icarians were sacrificed that no Liete was happy. Liete says her stone will probably be blue as well. She explains there's an evil man using the Spirit Stone to resurrect Gaia. Justin knows she meant Ball, but Ball died and the Spirit Stone burnt with him. She'll inform Justin that the Spirit Stone can't burn and the pieces are closer than ever to uniting. Justin will ask her if Baal is still alive, Liete won't answer but she says Gaia will resurrect once the Spirit Stone is united. You'll be back in Papal Hall, Feena will ask if her and Leen have to die to stop Gaia. Liete will tell her that is so, Justin won't accept this he wants another way and Liete must know it. Liete explains she is only a historian and can only speak of the past and not the future. Justin thought Alent had the answers of everything. Liete say's only the Spirits have the answers. The Spirits are in the Spirit Sanctuary. Liete will tell him that the "Spirit Sanctuary" is wherever he wants it to be, and that he could reach it. Justin will ask her if she knows her own future? Liete will tell him that the age she lives in truly determines her future and her table color. Justin will tell her to change the age she lives in. She should make her own future, she can't do anything from way up in Alent. Justin will invite her to join him, she'll agree to come along to watch Justin make History. Liete joins your party at Level 30. Leave Papal hall and a Gondola will be waiting. Everyone will wonder how they got there, Liete will insure you that it is safe to board. The Gondola will got up, then it will turn up-side down and start to drop. Justin Feena and Rapp are screaming their lungs out while Liete is telling them to remain calm. When the thing falls you'll see a scene with General Baal. He says how he has waited for this, and how he will rule the world. Mullen will enter the room with soldiers. Claiming that he is the highest officer in Garlyle. Mullen has aborted operation Yggdrasil, he has ordered the Spirit Stone and Gaia to be destroyed. Baal will laugh at this saying Gaia is above humans and Mullen wouldn't be able to understand. Baal tells him that Gaia is the Lord of the World, Mullen is angry and says he will be ended here. Baal will laugh at the fact that Mullen thinks he can defeat him. Mullen will draw his sword and the soldiers will move in on Baal. The scene will end Justin and rest will have crashed. *************************************************************************** 4i: Luzet Mts. & J-Base Levels: Justin: 27-28; Feena: 25; Rapp: 26; Liete: 30 After the crash everyone except Liete is shaken up. Liete will tell Justin they're in the Savannah, Justin will ask about Gaia. Liete can feel Gaia's presence in the Luzet Mountains. Liete suggest they should get going. Go east get the bag of gold then go southeast to return to the World Map. Select Luzet Mts. Once inside go north save at the save point. Continue north then go east, at the fork go north for a bag of gold. Now go south, go through the door the path will turn east and then there will be a fork. Go north up the stairs and get the RUN SEED. Go back down the stairs and go southeast, then go up the stairs there's a fork go northeast. The path with then go north go up the stairs get the bag of gold. Go west down the stairs the path will wind around the mountains, you will come to a fork eventually one path leading north the other leading south. Take the north path for a RUN SEED. Go back up the stairs and go south, then southeast up the stairs get the bag of gold. Go west and down another flight of stairs go south then east then south for a pot of gold. Go north then east and into East Luzet Mountain. Once inside go east save and recover. Then take the north path, when you come to a fork go east get a pot of gold. Now go southwest at the fork then southeast. Then go northeast up the stairs, take the fork northwest into the cave. Work your way through and go southwest for a bag of gold. Now go south along the path until you reach another cave overhang. Go through it get the bag of gold, on the way out. Then go southeast, then northeast up a flight of stairs then go southeast. Continue along this path until you reach a fork, go south and get the MOVE SEED. Then go north then take the fork northeast then go east and you will be on the world map. Select J Base, once inside Justin will ask Liete about it. She senses Gaia is here even though it's not an Angelou ruin. Now go north into the Hangar, you will hear soldiers talking about Mullen trying to take over Garlyle. When you gain control go north to the save point and save. You'll notice the soldiers here aren't hostile. Now go back on the platform behind the save point and go east, to the Officer's Headquarters. Go north into the command center which on the west side of the hallway. Now go west and then north into the TACOM Center. Speak to the soldier on the floor he says Baal has escaped! Mullen went after him, check the statue in the corner. It will move revealing a secret passageway. Go inside you'll see Mullen and Leen. Mullen looks hurt, Justin will run over and ask about Baal. Mullen will that and ask Justin why did he give up the Spirit Stone. Mullen will explain he gave Baal the Key to Eternal Destruction! He'll tell Justin to hurry and stop hi, Mullen will fall out. *************************************************************************** 4j: Underground Railway Ruins & Field Base Levels: Justin 28-29; Feena: 25-26; Rapp 26-27; Liete 30-31 Go down the ladder go east for a bag of gold then go south for another one. Go west from here to find a save point. Go inside the thing and leave out of the east side. Go north for another bag of gold, go south and into Underground Railway Ruins (2). Go and get the pot of gold, go west and up the rubble and inside the arm thing. Go south and out the east exit, and get the bag of gold. Go west and get the treasure it's a POPE HAT. Go back in and go south, exit out the west side. Go south get the bag of gold continue going south then east for a RUN SEED. Continue south into Underground Railway Ruins (3). Once inside go up the stairs on the west side. Continue south you'll see a save point, and a stash place. Also a treasure it's a BLUE POTN. Do your thing at the stash place and save and recover. Go through the doorway and hit the switch to reach the Gaia Ovarian Chamber. Baal will be in the room with the large Spirit Stone. Justin will tell Baal to stop. Baal says its too late Gaia is about to be revived. Justin will demand he stop now. Baal will laugh at him, Justin will look angry, Baal will notice Feena's here Justin will vow to stop Gaia! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXVI Baal 2 HP: Baal: 6000; G. Tentacle: 7000 Exp: 11600; Gold 10000 Difficulty: Extremely Hard Attacks: Gaia Fang: Major Attack; Range Gaia Strike: Major Attack; Single Hoistheal: Curing 700 HP: All (Note: Baal's normal attack give status defects) This battle will be tougher than you can imagine. Gaia Strike is about the annoyingest attack on earth. Baal attacks gives status ailments and so does Gaia Strike. Gaia Fang is a very powerful attack and can totally destroy a party that is too close together. Your strategy should be to attack G. Tentacle, because often times if you go for Baal the Tentacle will defend him and if you take off 1000 HP he will use Hoistheal. Only critical Baal to stop him from using Hoistheal. I'm not certain if critcialing Baal will stop G. Tentacle I'm 80% sure it will. Gaia Fang is sporadic at best he doesn't use it as often as one might think. But Gaia Tentacle is a much stronger attack anyhow. Wail away at G. Tentacle with your best Killers, then use magic. Magic doesn't do top shelf damage but it is more effective than normal. Don't use Heaven and Earth Cut it's a waste of time, only if you have the item that halves SP on Justin then use it. I would rather use Lotus Cut because it does a bulk damage to the Tentacle. Demon Ball is rather effective in this battle and you should use it as often as possible. Either whip Killer for Feena is effective. Liete should cure the party when she can't do that suitably any more unleash her Killer. ########################################################################### After the battle Baal will disappear and say it's time for the Revival. Leen will run in and save the party, Baal will tell you that he will raise Gaia because mankind made him do so. Mankind created Gaia, and thus mankind created him. You'll get a cinema of Gaia growing out of the shell, you'll see Leen made the party float to protect it from Gaia's Tentacles. The scene will be over and you will be on the Lyonlot. A soldier will come in and address Feena as Corporal. The soldier will explain it's Mullen's orders she now has the rank of Corporal in the Garlyle Forces. Justin will be aggravated Mullen did this, when you gain control leave the room and go to Lyonlot upper Bridge. You'll see Mullen and Leen. They are discussing the growth of Gaia. They're are talking about it may engulf Zil Padon. The Lyonlot’s next destination is Luzet Mts. Justin and the party will run in and question Mullen about Gaia. He tells them his plan, which is to follow the Angelou Myth. By using the Icarian Twins along with the steam cannon to blow up the Spirit Stones. Liete says that Leen is at the TACOM Center. When you gain control go east for a couple bags of gold and a LIFE SEED. Go west to the edge for another bag of gold. Go south into Field Base (1). Go south the second tent on the west is Feena's. The next one is a General Store. Go in there first, there's a save and stash place right outside of it. When you're done there go to the Officer's Tent. Feena will be there she says she is sorry for earlier and wants to speak to Leen. Feena will rejoin your party, also speak to the parrot for a funny segment. After that leave the tent and go to the TACOM Center. Leen is there she'll tell her soldiers to leave. Leen will tell you that Mullen is trying extra hard to save the world from his father. She'll tell Feena they must work together and use their powers to stop Gaia. Leen will beg for her sister's help, Justin will intervene saying they shouldn't help Mullen because he won't help Zil Padon. Feena says she wants to help Zil Padon, Leen will tell her it's almost too late for Zil Padon. Leen won't allow Feena to go, Justin says they have to go to Zil Padon before it's really too late. Justin won't go along with the plan because they are abandoning Zil Padon in the process. He'll tell Leen that Mullen is fooling her; Leen will get angry at that and tell Justin that Mullen wants to save the whole planet. Leen is also committed to saving the planet even if it means she will lose her life. Feena thinks it's a waste to trade lives even if it's for the greater good, Justin gets fed up at all this and say they are going to Zil Padon immediately. Liete can tell that Gaia hasn't attacked yet, Justin will want to find Guido suddenly the ground will rumble. You'll get a Cinema Scene of Gaia's Tentacles sucking the life out of Zil Padon and petrifying it. You'll be back to normal the party is ok Justin is wanting to find survivors. Go northeast you'll see a woman cowering from monsters. Fight them, the lady will tell you everyone took shelter in the Mogay Section. Justin decides they should look for more people who need help. Go north across a bridge someone will call for Feena, it's Leen. Leen goes official and says the operation will commence her and Feena will report to J Base. Justin thinks she's crazy and tells her Feena won't report. Leen says it's an order from Colonel Mullen. Someone will call for help, go northwest you'll see another woman and her son. You'll have another fight with Gaia Horns, after the fight the boy will compliment Justin and the others. The excess from the horns will form and turn into a Gaia Battler. Leen will run over and spread her Icarian Wings the Gaia will disappear. Leen will tell Feena that's their purpose in life. Feena will understand what she means; Justin is defiant to all of this. Justin just wants to help Zil Padon, he feels Zil Padon should be helped. Zil Padon shouldn't be forgotten, Leen starts to tell Justin he's wrong but a Gaia Tentacle will knock out Leen. Justin will want to get Leen to a safe place, Rapp doesn't want to help her because of what happened in Cafu. Justin will remind Rapp she just helped them, Rapp will see Justin's point and decides to help Leen. The screen will shift to the Mogay Section; a doctor is attending to Leen. Feena will be glad the others care about her sister, Justin will start to ponder about what they should do about Gaia. Every time they think they stopped Gaia it comes right back, Liete says the only way to truly stop it is by using the Icarians. Feena is doubtful because her powers aren't at the level of Leen's. The people around them will start to clamor about it being hopeless to and there is no way to stop Gaia. Justin doesn't like their attitudes and thinks they should all at least try. Justin encourages everyone to try, Gina will come over and be glad to see it's still safe here. Speak to Gina she wonders why Justin is here. Justin will tell her they rushed over when they heard Gaia was about to attack. Gina is impressed that he tried to help Justin will apologize for not making it there sooner. Gina is mad at Guido for not being there at a time like this, he should have been here to warn people. Gina thinks he left them plus they have all these monsters to deal with. Justin says they don't have to worry about the monsters he'll protect them. Liete warns that the powers of the Icarian draw Gaia and can't be used right now. Feena will think she's forced to use her wings to fight, she doesn't want to use them to fight but she wants to use them to protect Justin and her sister and everyone. Feena will turn Icarian and then return to normal. Liete will notice something different about Feena she says she has obtained the ability to care; the ancient Icarians didn't have this ability. The caring ability is superior to normal Icarians and it's growing inside of her. Suddenly someone will tell there to look out and don't touch the light. All the people will get frightened go into Guido's house to save, leave and then go near the broken wall you'll see a Gaia Battler. Hand 3109 Exp: 6300; Gold 12900 Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Rust Gas: Lowers Defense; All Simple battle, give him your best killers it doesn't even matter if they have elements attached to them. Just attack the body and put him down quick. You probably won't have to cure and that lame Rust Gas is all he got a chance to use on me. So defending is nil in this battle, everyone attacking will make this battle go by quickly. ########################################################################### After the battle 6 battlers will appear! Justin is determined to fight them all off to protect the people. Feena tells Justin to hope with her. They will hold hands and Feena will become Icarians a blue light will appear and engulf the screen. The screen will chance and Justin and Feena will be knocked out. Justin and Feena will get up eventually, Liete will tell them the power of Justin and Feena ceased the Tentacles in town. Leen will come over and apologize for not wanting to save the town. Leen knows what she must do she decides to go back and speak with the Colonel, she tells them to stay put. Rapp will tell them the Mogay made them a tent near the entrance of town. When you gain control go to the entrance and into the Mogay Inn. The Rafane Store is still here it has all the same goods. When you enter the Inn you will get a scene with Mullen and Leen, Mullen will ask why she came alone. Leen will tell him that the Icarians alone can't stop Gaia. She'll tell him when Feena saved Zil Padon she used a different power, which was more powerful that the Icarians. She'll tell him that Justin & Feena have the power to stop Gaia. Mullen doesn't want to hear that, he says it's just a myth. The Icarians is what he needs to stop Gaia. He wants her to talk Feena into it. He'll tell her this world is full of sin and that is why she got her wings. She and Feena must use them to stop Gaia, Leen will understand. You'll be back in Zil Padon, Feena doesn't understand what to do with her power. She doesn't understand her power she doesn't understand being an Icarian. Justin doesn't know the answer he'll tell her neither the Garlyle nor Gaia are advancing. They have time to stop him, Rapp will run in and say Garlyle is moving east. Justin doesn't understand this then she realizes that Leen is going to do it by herself. Feena begs Justin to stop Leen, he says they will and they're going to J Base, leave Zil Padon. *************************************************************************** 4l: Icarians Levels: Justin 29-30; Feena: 27; Rapp: 27; Liete: 31 Go to Luzet Mountains, Liete says that the monsters here have gotten stronger, Gaia influences them. West Luzet Mountains are exactly the same as they were before besides said Gaia influenced monsters. When you get to East Luzet, the ground will shake Liete says Gaia evolved. You'll see Colonel Mullen he's telling everyone to get ready. A soldier will come up and tell him Lieutenant Leen has gone to Turret 3. Mullen will be angered by this the screen will chance to the Gaia Monster on top of a dome. You'll see Mullen from afar looking at it, you'll see Gaia is heading for them but Mullen can't get over what Leen is doing. You'll be back with the main party get through East Luzet. When you're on the world map go to J Base. Go north into the hangar; go to the officer's quarters then the command center and into the stairway. Go up the stairs and into the control room, the party will run up to Mullen. Mullen thought Feena and Leen went together. Leen will appear on the screen she's says everything is under her control. She says she's going to repeat the past. She says that she doesn't have the power, the power is in Feena and Justin. She says her dying is a mistake, mistakes are what make life. She says that her wings are sin and they are her burden. Mullen will want to release her from the Burden. Leen go on to say there is only one who can save the world. Justin is the one he must find the New Path, Justin will ask how can he. Leen will go on and tell Mullen she loves him, and the scene will be over. Speak to the others then speak to Mullen, Justin ask how can he get to Leen. Mullen tells him there's a door downstairs that leads to where she is at. Go back to the stairway go down to Steam Cannon Machine Room. Go down the stairs make a left then go up the stairs and to the roof. Justin will call out for Leen. You'll get a scene where Leen turns Icarian and the Gaia Tentacles coming. The cannon will shoot at Gaia for no effect. The cannon will lower with Leen on it, Gaia will swallow it and explode. The screen will change to Zil Padon. Speak to Liete she tells Justin the power is within him, he needs to help Feena by raising her will. Mullen will show up he wants to speak to Feena, Justin won't let him through. Mullen demands to be let through, Justin will then blame him for Leen's death. He doesn't want him to let Feena die too. Mullen will get angry with Justin since Justin can't possibly understand what Feena if going through. He'll never know either since he wasn't born Icarian, Mullen will push him aside and walk in. Mullen will tell Feena it's their chance to attack. Mullen says they have to crush the Spirit Stone inside of Gaia to stop it. He tells her she's the only one who can do this; Justin will walk in and tell him Feena's not going to die. Mullen will tell him it's the only way, Justin reminds him of the new path that Leen spoke of. Mullen wants to know about this new path, Justin has no answer. Mullen says the only path is to have Feena sacrificed as well. They'll continue to argue until Feena stops them. Feena knows Leen didn't want it to be like this. Mullen will tell Feena to think about it and he will leave. Feena will ask Justin if he thinks the new path exists. Justin will assure her it does, she'll be angry because he didn't tell Mullen the same. She'll apologize for getting angry she just doesn't want to die. She's afraid of death and doesn't know what to do. Speak to Feena again and go outside Rapp and Liete were shocked by Feena but they think she'll be ok. Gina will run to Justin and says Guido has returned. He wants to talk to Justin, go over to Guido's house. Guido will tell Justin he believes in him he also says Gaia is still alive. He also needs to fight for others and fight for the most important person to him he'll gain real power. Justin knows Feena's the most important person, Guido says he knows he has to do they have to fight together him and Feena. Justin will thank Guido and want to go back to talk to Feena. Save while you're at Guido's and go over to the Mogay Inn. Feena's gone, her Hero's Armband is left behind. Justin will realize she went to the Encampment, leave the inn then leave Zil Padon. *************************************************************************** 4m: Useless Levels: Justin 30; Rapp: 27; Liete: 31 Go to Field Base and go to Field Base (2). Feena and Mullen will be boarding the Lyonlot. Justin will ask Feena to wait he will tell her he will defeat Gaia. Feena will tell Justin she knows how he feels. It's like the time when he gave his Spirit Stone to Baal to save her. She's giving her life to save the world. Justin says it's his entire fault he should go, he'll run to Feena but she'll turn Icarian and knock him back. She'll tell Justin it's what she was made for, she doesn't want everyone to die. She'll tell him it's her duty as an Icarian to do this, she'll tell Justin not to forget her. Justin was knock out during this, the screen will change to the Lyonlot taking off. Go south you'll see Liete and Rapp, Justin will tell them they're going. Rapp will tell Justin the only place to go is after Feena. Justin will look doubtful at him. Rapp will ask him if he's going after Feena? Justin tells him no since he couldn't protect her and he can't stop Gaia. Rapp is shocked and he can't believe he is giving up. Rapp calls him a coward, he lost Rapp's respect and friendship. Rapp gets angry and walks off. Liete will ask Justin is this the way things are going to be? Liete thought he wanted to create her a new future. Liete tells him she's returning to Alent, she coldly tells him her time with his wasted. Liete leaves go back to Field Base (1). It's now raining go south the tanks are pulling out. The 3 sergeants are on one of them. They tell Justin he's useless, Mio says they are leaving now. They all wanted to be in the final attack, but Mullen left them to take care of the soldiers. Mio says the Garlyle Army has disbanded, Nana tells Justin to leave while he still can. Saki will tell them they should get going and then they will leave. Everyone has left Justin. There's nothing lefts here except the Save Point and the stash place use them. Then go southeast and you will be on the world map. Go to Savannah Wilderness. When you enter Justin will drop in the mud and speak to himself. He says all he ever wanted was to be an adventurer, the parrot from earlier will fly over and tell Justin he's done for and then fly away. Justin will then doubt all the things he said about saving the world and rewriting history. He'll say all his accomplishments were meaningless he couldn't save Feena. He will apologize to Leen because he couldn't find the New Way. The Spirits will come and fly towards Zil Padon. Then Justin will think of Guido, he'll go ask him for help. Justin will walk off the screen you'll end up in Zil Padon. Go near the Mogay Section, and you'll see Guido. A man will be thanking Guido for the money to help him rebuild. Go up on the platform and talk to Guido. Speak to him and Justin will realize why the Mogay are traders. They knew one day something terrible would happen so they save their money for it, so they could help people. Justin will think that Guido's planning is a great idea and wish that he were that useful. Justin will then ask Guido if he can help out in Zil Padon. Guido will refuse, Justin will feel even more useless. Guido says he didn't kiss him off he says nothing is worthless. Guido tells him since everyone has a spirit everyone has a use, speak to Guido again. Justin will beg to help this time, since there is nothing more he can do. Guido starts in with everyone has a role, Justin tells him he blew his chance he can't do anything. Guido then tells Justin to look around him, the spirits are there but Justin doesn't understand why. Guido will tell him that people and spirits use to live together, until Gaia came and then people lost their heart. No one came that could help this Guido says Justin made it far in the world; Justin says it wasn't him who made it. He'll tell him Feena saved Zil Padon, Leen stopped Gaia, and Mullen will save the world. Justin will tell him they did these things not him. Guido will ask Justin what can one person do? Since Justin's alone he'll tell him nothing. Guido will tell Justin he's not alone look around and see. Sue! Gadwin! Liete! Milda! Rapp! They will remind Justin of something, and that will boost his confidence. They are all behind him and want to help save Feena. Guido tells Justin he's not alone he brought all these people together, thus Justin brought the whole world together. Justin is the one who has the power to save the world. Sue will tell Justin to go save Feena, Rapp reminds him he wanted to bring back the Petrified Forest. Liete reminds him he wanted to turn her Tablet red. Justin will get his purpose back and realizes he had a use! The Spirits will come and form a pillar then a door. Liete says it's the gateway of the spirits, she says it's the same thing that happened to the Embodied One at the beginning of Angelou. She'll say it's a birth of a new Embodied One, and the spirits have found him fit to enter the Spirit Sanctuary. Liete says Justin will be the recipient of the new Spirit Stone. Liete urges them all into the Sanctuary. Liete and Rapp will join the party. *************************************************************************** 4n: Spirit Sanctuary Levels: Justin: 30; Rapp: 27-28; Liete: 31-32 Go through the door to the Spirit Sanctuary (1), go north save at the save point. Go east along the path. The path will wind and lead west then south on to a platform to raise/ Go north and follow the path you'll come to the west it'll lead to a platform that raises. Then go north follow the path it'll lead west. The path will fork go north it'll lead to a treasure, a FRC KNIFE. Go back to the fork go east, drop down then go west. Get the treasure a REVIVAL. Go south you'll be back at the save point, take the east path again. Go up the platform follow the path get the treasure an ALL FRUIT. A new path go east to the Dungeon Eye, go east and drop down. Go north this time take the east path, it will lead to the west path. You'll be at another fork, take the east path follow it will lead to another path. This will lead to a platform full of monsters fight them all off. After that go north then west along the path it will branch east then go south. Then go east and down the stairs, go to the platform, go south around the platform get the MOVE FRUIT and the LIF SEED, and face the boss. ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXVIII Mage King HP: Mage King: 3892; Wand: 2346 Exp: 3405; Gold 9600 Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Atomic Shot: ???: Range Howlnado: Level 3 Wind: All This battle is a pushover, his head and body are connected and his wand is separate. Screw the wand and bash the body and head with killers. He tried to hit me with Atomic Shot but he missed everyone with it, he's lame for that. As you can see he's a mage so his magic defense is pretty high. So use pure killers and combo's when fighting him. Since his HP is pretty low, you should have no trouble with SP or even curing for that matter. ########################################################################### Go north and through the door, Liete says the path ahead belongs to Justin. Tell the spirits what you wish for. She say's the spirits will hear his call and change the world. Go north a path will form, Justin says he came to ask what do the Spirits want? What can he do, that's why he is here. Go west up the next path, he says that humans keep repeating mistakes, Leen died and Feena is about to. He asks can they change the way things are? Go northeast a path will form. Justin says he doesn't want any more sacrifices, he wants humans to be able to change things. Justin wants to end the sadness and form a world of harmony. He will ask for help, go to the north path then go south on to the platform. A spirit will form into a ball and then form a sword. It's the Spirit Sword! The Real one! Rapp and Liete will congratulate Justin, Justin hopes the spirits reach Mullen and Feena. The ground will shake and they will be at J-Base. Liete says Gaia is changing form again, you'll get a cool scene of Gaia coming to life and breaking the mode. Liete says Gaia spores are going all around the world. Justin will tell both of them they have to find Gaia! Go inside J-Base, Liete can feel Gaia's presence inside somewhere. Save at the save point, go northwest then north to a big hole. Liete knows this is where Gaia is. *************************************************************************** 4o: Icarian City Levels: Justin: 30-31; Rapp: 28-29; Liete: 32 Go north and you will reach a save point, go east for a bag of gold and go west for another one. Go back east and then north into Icarian City (2). Go down the spiral stairs into Icarian City (3). Go down the stairs again to reach Icarian City (4). Go down the stairs and into a door. Go west and you will be sucked into a ball. Wait for it turn blue and you will be moved north. Go in the room and get the SPT HELM. Go back to the teleport room get it turn green. Go west then north and get the treasure an L GANTLET. Go south and back to the teleport room, get the red and return to the stair well. Go back up to Icarian City (3). Go up the stairs and through a door; go south get the bags of gold and the treasure LION BOOT. Now you'll only be able to walk on the white squares, if you don't the ceiling will fall and it will hurt you. Leave out of the room and go back to the stairway up to Icarian City (2). Go up the stairs and through the door, go north and go east at the fork. The ground will rise all around you, make your way through the south exit. Follow the path into the room where the ground sinks. This is slightly tricky but you will eventually work your way around to the shield. It's the SP SHIELD, leave this room go back to the fork and go west and into the door. Follow the path into a large room go east through the door. Get the bag of gold then go north, go down the stairs and check the pillar the stairs will go down. Go down them into Icarian City (3). Save at the save point and get the treasure a CRIM POTN. Hit all the buttons and go west, then north for an ANGL ROBE. Go south check the crystal a path will form, follow along this path and through the door. Get the bags of gold and the pot of gold, check the thing in the middle and the door will open. Go through it follow the path the path for a bag of gold, check the crystal, stairs will form to Icarian City (4). Go north get the bag of gold go west check the red thing, let it turn blue to get the treasure EVILSHRKN. Go back to the ball let it turn green go west check the crystal 3 times and then go to the new path. Go south the ball will open go inside it will shake and disappear. You'll be in a room with a save point and a stash place. Do your thing and get the bag of gold. Go north get the BLUE POTN and run over to the Gaia Battler! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXIX Gaia Battler 4 HP: G. Battler: 5871; R. Hand: 4237; L. Hand: 4291 Exp: 6300; Gold 12900 Difficulty: Medium Attacks: Lightening: All Ray Spread: Attack: All; Minor Combination: Attack: Single: (Note: Attacks w/status) Slightly harder than normal considering you only have 3 characters :p, but he should be no problem. Give him a barrage of killers that will take down just about his entire HP, when it's overwith. His attack attacks are pretty lame, and should be doing about 40 Hp's worth of damage. No need to cure and stretch this battle out just have everyone wail on it. Like all the other times, don't hit his arms it's just a waste of time. ########################################################################### After the battle return to the save point to cure and save, then go north check the crystal and go west. Go through the doors and down the stairs to Icarian City (5). Follow along the path and you'll see 3 Gaia Battlers! Feena is Icarian trying to protect Mullen who is weak at this point. Feena will call for help, Justin will jump down and Dragon King Slice them away. Justin tells them he came to help; he also understands what the new path is. They all need to work together with one heart, if the spirits and humans work together they can overcome any obstacle. Feena can tell Justin's sword is laced with the Spirits, Justin confirms that it is. Feena is happy the Spirits finally accepted him. Mullen is in disbelief that the Spirits accepted him. The spirits couldn't have forgave humans, the spirits gave up on humans. Justin tells him he's wrong humans forsake the spirits, like he is doing right now. Mullen gets angry with this and doesn't want to believe his talk. He wants proof, action a FIGHT!!! All I can say is about time... ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXX Mullen vs. Justin HP: 2946 Exp: 5682 Difficulty: Easy Attacks: Sonic Boom: Extremely Lame Killer; Single; Minor Crackling: Boring Ice attack: all; Medium Speedy: Wit +1; Single Rising Dragon Cut: Cool looking Killer; Lame damage; Single Zap All; Lightening attack; Major damage; all Finally Mullen! I enjoyed destroying him so much I allowed him to hit me just to get me angrier. Anyhow as you can see his attacks are lame, except Zap All. I loved how when you hit him with Heaven + Earth Cut he will fly across the room and hit his head on the wall. It should be known Mullen has pretty decent Magic Defense so don't follow H+E with a Dragon Cut. Throw Mid Air in his face, then combo him. Relentlessly attack this bastard for all the times he down played Justin's skills! After he has fallen reset and kill him again! ########################################################################### After the battle Mullen will realize Justin has been accepted, he also realizes he should of trusted Leen. He allowed her to die, Feena says Leen bought them time to realize this. Justin invites Mullen to fight with them, their combined powers can fight off Gaia. Mullen isn't sure if the Spirits have offered him protection as well, Mullen will doubt his own strength. Feena will reassure him that he is strong and he has protection. Mullen will regain his thinking he still wants to protect the world he'll use his powers to help. The spirits will show up Feena will turn Icarian and the Gaia tentacles will go away, and the platform will lift. The party will Herr Mullen will run in a room. Nana will call Mullen, she's on a place Mullen will wonder how she got their. Saki and Mio are also there, along with Sue, Gadwin, Guido, and Milda they all came to help out. They're all against Gaia, there is no more military and Civilian, Saki will ask for orders. Mullen will realize his "role" is to go along with them. He'll give orders to Justin and Feena to attack the Spirit Stone, he'll tell them to be safe and jump on an airplane and fly away. Aww dang he didn't join the party :( . The good news is you get Feena back! *************************************************************************** 4p: End of the Adventure Levels: Justin: 31-33; Feena: 27-29; Rapp: 29-31; Liete: 32-34 You now will be inside Gaia. Save once you're inside go north and a pillar will fall. Continue going north another one will fall go west. Follow the path then go east into the opening and go north get the TALISMAN. Go south back through the opening. Then go north through the little passage, then east you'll see a monster eating other monsters, go fight it! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXXI Gaia Trent HP: G. Trent: 4578; Arm: 2963; Flower: 3167 Exp: 5765 G: 14400 Difficulty: Medium Attacks: Flower Laser: Major Attack; Range The battle may give you some difficulty but not much. Stick to the weapon killers and have Feena cure when needed, holds back on the SP items just use combos when you run out. Besides Flower Laser attack it didn't do much meaningful. Its normal attack does a decent amount of damage but not as much as it should for this late in the game. ########################################################################### After the battle go south for a SP potion, then climb the rope to Gaia (2). Save at the save point go north into the hole to Gaia (3). (I'm sure there were items in Gaia (2) but I wasn't in an exploring mood. It was late at night and I was tired :p ) Follow along the path when you come to the fork go south for a bag of gold. Go north into the hole go along the path into the ball. Once it's finish spinning go north into the hole get the treasure a SPT CHARM. Go south back to the ball let it spin twice and go south into the hole, continue going south and get the Treasure, SPT ARMOR. Go back north to the hole go to the ball let it spin then go north. Go to the treasure and you'll be close but won't get it. Go east follow along this path into Gaia (4). There's a boss as soon as you enter! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXXII Gaia Armor HP: 6785 Exp: 7000 G: 14920 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Gravity: -Move 5; Single Dead Circle: Medium Attack; Range Healer: Restores 500 HP Killer Tackle: Major attack: All This battle is pretty hard. Pound on him with Killers, the thing that makes this battle difficult is Gravity. He uses it a lot and its real killer when you're Sp is low because you can combo him and magic doesn't do much. When he gets weak he'll perform Killer Tackle a lot. The good news about this battle is his eye and his body share HP. The bad news is, it'll take a pretty strong Critical to stop either one. The body seems to freeze everything so go for the body more unless you want to really halt the eye from healing. ########################################################################### After the battle get the bag of gold and use the (1) to open the path/ Go east and into the tube. Then go east on the other side at the fork go east. When come out go west into another tube then south into a tube and go east. Then north into a tube go west then south into a tube get the pot of gold. Turn the veins and go back to the multicolored blocked tube go through it. Go east to find a SP POTION and stash place and save point. This is the game’s last save point. :( Go through the tube to Gaia (5) Check the black spot it'll take you up. A Gaia type monster will appear, he claim’s he's invincible now and beyond humans! It's Baal! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXXIII Baal 3 HP: Baal 7000; G. Tentacl: 6000; G. Tentacl; 5456; Gaia Cyst 4500 Exp: 6810 Difficulty: Hard Attacks: Stram: - 2 attack; all Boom: Earth Fire Attack: Minor Damage: range Death Mark: Medium Attack: all Gaia Tail: Major Attack: single Seed Smash: Minor Attack: all Def Loss: -1 Defense: All The main difficulty here is stopping all of his attacks. Don't go nuts through conserve item usage. If your SP runs out, so what, just combo him. Baal is the target don't worry about his 2000 parts. I can't say there is an attack he uses repeatedly because there really isn't he's used Death Mark on me at least 3 times. The thing you want to worry about is him Def Loss then using Gaia Tail, now that's a killer. Revive dead members you'll need all the attacks you can get and as many bodies to absorb them as possible. His magic defense is pretty high so as always stick to pure killers. You'll need to cure pretty often, but it won't come down to a curathon. ########################################################################### After the Battle Baal is nothing but a worm. He'll whine about losing, He'll crawl to a Black Globe and go up. You can't return to the save point :( So go up as well on another Black Globe. You'll be in Gaia Core, go around the room for SP POTN, CRIM POTN, and 2 GOLD POTN. Go west to find a stash place, go north and 3 things will grow from the ground. It'll tell the party that humans are greedy and they thirst for more and are never satisfied. They hate all that is better and do whatever they can to take away from it. Justin says humans aren't born to steal, they're born to open new paths together the fight will commence! ########################################################################### Boss Fight XXXIV Gaia Core; Mega Gaia HP: Gaia Core: 9999; Mega Gaia: 4800 each; G. Tentacl: 1300; Difficulty: Very Hard Attacks: Multiply: Creates G. Tentacl Crackling: Ice Attack; all Spin Strike: Attack Medium; range Boom Pow: earth fire; medium damage: all Ray of Ruin: Medium damage; all Death Tornado: attack; major; single Howslash: Level 2 wind; all; minor Alhealer+: Major curing: all This is a tough battle, as it should be. The G. Tentacl is what really makes it hard. They will seriously get under your skin they're the major offensive weapons. The core will come in here and there and use magic on the party. Basically go for one Mega Gaia and slash it to death. Then go for the other ones, revive dead members you'll need 8 sets of hands to take things out. Use Sp and magic regaining items if necessary even though this isn't the last battle. When you get rid of them all the tentacles will disappear. It's useless to attack the tentacles because the Mega Gaia's will create more. After the Mega's are gone there's nothing but a poor core left. Regain your HP and SP if possible. Revive any dead members and do nothing but combo it. It moves up the bar insanely slow, so you will probably get at least 3 turns for each character before it gets one. It'll attack with magic once in the blue but most of your hp should be regained so you will have no trouble. ########################################################################### After the battle you will have another battle... ########################################################################### Final Battle Evil Gaia HP: 9999 Difficulty: Very Very Easy Attacks: Freeze: (Did nothing to me) All Howl: What in the hell is it doing: Very minor damage: range THIS BATTLE IS EXTREMELY PATHETIC. HOWL THIS THING ACTUALLY USED HOWL! Nothing but combo's can take this boss out, hell you could probably just keep criticaling the thing and it will die eventually. I used a killer here and there because I got bored. It can't move it uses lamebrain moves like Freeze. Did the Game Arts people suddenly have a brain attack when they thought this thing up? Were they too lazy to come up with anything better. This battle is pathetic and if you're reading how to beat it put the controller down and play pong. ########################################################################### After the battle a path will open. Liete tells Justin ad Feena the rest is up to them. They have to go inside and destroy the Spirit Stone to finish Gaia off. Liete congratulates them and she thanks Justin, for giving her the opportunity to be the first Liete who didn't watch history but was a part of it. He's young inexperience and dense. During the course of the game he grows. Not physically but mentally he turns from a silly kid adventure who stumbles on the Angelou Civilization into a "Full Fledged Man" who saves the world and changes it. Justin's personality stays the same, he always have a cheerful outlook and he is always determined to overcome any obstacle even when it appears almost useless to go on. Justin in Battle: Justin is arguably the best fighter in the game. His final Killer; Heaven & Earth Cut is devastating and he can whipe out an army of enemies in two turns with it. He is also pretty strong and he is one of the fastest characters in the game and his weapons are the best as well. Even though other characters will appear stronger than Justin when you get them, he will be way better when his level equals. He has a great defense to everything, and he can hold his own in one on one battles. I've defeated lots of bosses and enemies with him when the others characters died. More like a little sister in age and size and a big sister in attitude. Sue was wise beyond her years, she maintained Justin in a way and took care of him. She thought about things before doing then and was very cautious. She believed that she was already an adult because of her attitude. Sue meets Justin before the events of this game. Sue joins the party because she's is also an Adventurer Sue in Battle: I actually liked Sue in battle she was a solid white mage if you used her properly. It was almost useless to turn her into an attack her because of her low hp and low defense. It was better to have her use items to cure the party or to use Puffy Cheer. When she had to attack she was useful in the beginning. Her usefulness runs out when you get more characters and you will probably only use her for curing. This character joins in the beginning of Chapter 1 and leaves near the end of chapter 3. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Feena Weapons: Whips, Knives Age: 17 Species: Human Hometown: New Parm Overall: B+ Feena is the female lead of the game. Feena is an experience adventurer and has a 6th sense for knowing when something is a "bad idea", although her advice is almost never taken on this. Feena is smart and sweet and although she follows Justin she try to leads him on the right path. She gives Justin a new reason to finish his adventure at the end. Feena meets Justin on the boat to New Parm. Feena joins the party when Justin and Sue help her realize why she became an Adventurer in the first place. Feena in Battle: Feena is great in battle, although her attack is only good for critical canceling her defense is high and she has a decent amount on HP. Her magic is good she makes an excellent all around mage. She loses points for not having a lot of killers and not having enough killers that use her knife. Making it almost useless to equip her with one. This character temporarily joins the party chapter 1. This character becomes a permanent member in the beginning of chapter 2 and never leaves. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Gadwin Weapons: Swords Age: 30 Species: Dragon or Tiger/Human Hometown: Dight Overall: B Gadwin is a large brooding warrior. Coming from a large lineage of warriors in the village of Dight. Gadwin feels it's his lifelong duty to train and perfect his skills as a warrior. His reality is training and he only seems to care about crossing swords. Gadwin helps Justin become a "Full Fledged Man". Gadwin meets Justin in Valley of the Flying Dragon. Gadwin joins the party to help Justin become a man. Gadwin in Battle: What can I say? At the time of the game he will simply slice through opponents with ease. But later on in the game when your levels just about match his you will realize he was rather weak. He is also pretty slow and his meter moves snail like. So he won't be getting in too many attacks. Dragon King Slice will save you from a lot of losses and can turn a battle around easily. If he were faster he would have been a better character. This character joins in the beginning of Chapter 3 and leaves at the end of Chapter 3. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Rapp Weapons: Knives, Swords, Bows/Darts Age: 17 Species: Monkey/Human Hometown: Cafu Overall: A- Rapp is a freethinking youth from Cafu. He is a leader and looked up to by all the young boys there. On the surface he seems to be a tough little trouble maker, but deep down he has a heart of gold and is willing to face any obstacle. Rapp will become a pretty important character in parts of the game but he fades in and out of the story for the most part. Rapp meets Justin in Virgin Forest. Rapp joins the party to destroy the Tower of Doom, Rapp stays with the party because he wants to find out how to un-petrify his village Cafu. Rapp in Battle: Rapp is great in battle he is almost at Justin level except for the small fact that his magic is crap. I always felt that if they would just improve Rapp's magic slightly he would be the best fighter in the game. His killers are nothing to sneeze at they do remarkable damage and come in a variety. Another point was deducted here because he had cool killers for both swords and knives along with darts making it difficult to decide what weapon to use with him. This character joins in the beginning of Chapter 4 and never leaves. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Milda Weapons: Swords, Axes, Maces/Rods Age: 19 Species: Cow/Human Hometown: Laine Overall: C- Milda is a ferocious angry woman. Like most women in her village her brawn is far superior to her brain. Although on outside she has a manly physique deep down inside her heart is pure and warm and goes out of her way to help the party. She is not stupid she just loves the simple things in life and cares for what she can understand, which is in contrast of the men of her village. Milda meets Justin near the entrance of Tower of Doom. Milda joins the party to help destroy the Tower of Doom. Milda in Battle: Milda's strength is key. Her Milda hit is hands down one of the strongest attacks in the game. Although her strength will destroy almost all enemies in one blow her weakness out weigh what she's good at. Although her HP is mega high, her defense is high and her attack is high her magical defense is some what high. She is slow and the time it takes for her bar to fill is so slow that will... there is nothing slower than her bar. Then there's the fact she can't use magic at all which makes her a very bad character only surviving on raw power and has no way to cure herself except for wasting precious items. This character joins the party in the beginning of Chapter 4 and leaves in the middle of Chapter 4. %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Guido Weapons: Swords, Bows/Darts Age: Unknown Species: Mogay Overall: D+ Guido, he seems to be a type future seer or is it that he knows so much about the past. He is very wise and very old but you can't tell because he's looks like a harmless rabbit with a cute voice. The Mogay race is the oldest race of people on the planet and he's the oldest among them. He guides the party to Alent seems to be his place with the spirits. Guido meets Justin in Dight village in Chapter 3. Guido joins the party to lead them to Alent. Guido in Battle: Horrible. He is definitely a bad character. Low Hp, and very weak. His only offense is the fact that his bow hits for an amazing 3 times which makes his damage almost as high as Rapp's. He is pretty quick in battle I'll give him that, but it's rare that Guido will actually do anything positive except waste space. Make him your official "Canceler" and be done with the useless frugel Mogay. This character meets your party in the beginning of Chapter 3. However he doesn't join until the middle of Chapter 4 and he leave near the end of Chapter 4 %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Liete Weapons: Rods/Maces Age: Unknown Species: Unknown Overall: A+ Liete is the Priestess of Alent. She is the reason Justin is searching for Alent because she has supreme knowledge of the Angelou Civilization. She has the knowledge of Alent passed down to her. She lives in solitude in Alent waiting for her time as Liete to pass. She's very smart and knows about all the things on the planet, but she is slightly dense when it comes to speaking to other intelligent beings. Liete meets Justin in the Sult Ruins in Chapter 1. Liete joins the party because she wants to have a happy existence as Liete, she also wants to see Justin rewrite history. Liete in Battle: She's awesome, she is the best mage in the game. She starts off with very good magic that does tons of damage. Although only possessing two killers and only 1 attacks she is still a great character. Her magic and her magic defense is key, also you have the fact she starts off with decent HP. Her physical defense is pretty high along and her attack is good. But you probably will be using spells when you use Liete. She will save you with her curing and bring enemies to their knees exploiting their weaknesses with her devastating magic. Liete was my all around favorite character and she had every reason to be. This character meets your party in the beginning of Chapter 1. However she doesn't join until the Middle of Chapter 4 and never leaves the party.
