After selling many copies of Bust A Move, the sequel Bust A Move 2 is bound to be another sell out. Well, this FAQ is for people who are beginniners so all you advanced players......sorry this is not for you. In this guide, I'll tell you how to play Bust A Move 2, give you some tips etc. By the way, if you've played Bust A Move, easy right? Well, get prepared cause Bust A Move 2 is not as easy as it's first. So enjoy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ HOW TO PLAY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Well, Bust A Move 2 is a dancing game as you know, so you've gotta follow the rhythm and beat. You press the buttons on your playstation console acording to the pattern on the screen. Seems simple huh, well not so. You've gotta put all those dance steps into 4 beats. Make sure to put the last step of the pattern on the last beat or you'll miss. You might want to try the training mode to help you as they show a extra bar at the bottom the step bar to show you the timming. Timming is everything so good luck. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TIPS FOR BEGINNERS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here are some tips for beginners: To get extra points, try to press the last step of the pattern on the pattern exactly on the last beat. If the last step enlarges itself, it means you've done it correctly and you get points according to how long the pattern is. There are a few ways to move to the beat. One way, is to count 1, 2, 3, 4 so that you have the timming in your head. The bad thing is that if your timming is off, you'll get it wrong. Another way is by listening to the music. You'll hear beats in the background. You might want to follow those as they are more accurate. Note that the fourth or last beat is usually louder than the other beats. And the last and final way I've found so far is to watch your characters dance steps and listen to the beat. You can also use this to move to the beat. Look at their movements, you'll notice if you look hard enough that by swaying left once, it's two beats. Swaying from left then to right is four beats. Another thing that you might want to do is to use your special. It's not very accurate as your opponent can duck this attack and you'll miss. But if you get a hit, it adds valuble time for you to gain points. You might want to do your special when your reaching the solo parts where you dance on your own. As the special will knock them out for a while, and if the solo has started, you'll be able to have the whole solo for yourself! People call it a cheap move, but for beginners, it's recommended as it's a great way to gain points. Remember that you only have two specials per dance match. I recommend that you try practice mode until you've finally master it before actually try 'easy' mode in one player mode. Remember that in training mode they'll show you the timming. It seems to me that Heat is the easiest character to use for a beginner. I dunno, maybe it's just for me. You might prefer a different character, I dunno. Another easy character I think is Kelly. So try them out. More is to come in my next update so look out for it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CREDITS ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To gamefaqs.com for posting my FAQ and also because it's a great website.
