I am French...so forgive me for English mistakes ;-) Introduction : ************** * Enchanted Scepters was released in 1984 by SiliconBeachSoftware. It is a classic 68000 Macintosh game, made with World Builder. It was a great success, maybe because it was very difficult to solve ! * The game can be made 32 bit compatible by using ResEdit, but the trick is NOT the same than for the other WorldBuilder games : with ResEdit, open the Enchanted Scepters application open CODE id=1 in the SECOND line (offset 0008), change '2008' to '602C' (unlike for the other WB games, KEEP '2078' in the FIRST line) [Without using ResEdit, you can however play the game on a 32-bit Mac by simply turning the 32 bit addressing off.] * The copy protection consists in randomly throwing the player to an Arena... You MUST remove the protection by using a patch which can easily be found on the Web...(you will need ResEdit and World Builder). * Enchanted Scepters counts exactly 200 scenes. This walkthrough makes you visit 196 of them !!! During the walkthrough, you can visit the 4 other scenes ("Barracks", "Arena", "Cage" and "Keeper") when I inform you, but they are dangerous ! * Your character can hold only 14 objects. When you have got 14 objects, you will have to drop one of them if you want to get an other one... Preferentially drop weapons. NEVER drop any other object until I tell you so !! * The only NECESSARY fight is against the FIRE DEMON. "pray" (=> a magic wand appears) You can 'use this wand to span the gap' !!
