If you do use it and I find out, trust me I WILL, you'll feel some serious legal trouble!!! Lil' Monsters is a copyright of Agetec. | Introduction | Averman is back once again to bring to everyone another FAQ. This is my fourth FAQ so I know the do's and don'ts of making FAQs. (Finally a quality FAQ.) If anyone has seen or read any of my FAQs, they will recognize the format. I did make a few tweaks to it though. Anyway, due to my mini-obsession with finding new games to play, I found a game called Lil' Monsters. This Pokémon clone caught my interest for a few weeks and I felt playing this game very fun to play. Plus, when I found out GameFaqs was looking for someone to make a FAQ for this game, I jumped to the chance. For those who don't know, Lil' Monsters is a Pokémon copycat is pretty fun and should keep you busy playing for a few weeks. (Like it did to me ^^) There is more info on the game in my Story section. If anyone has any questions, comments, or suggestions, please email me at Averman62@Hotmail.com. Lets get down to business. ||| Updates ||| | 9/16/01 | - Revised the whole FAQ - Updated Building the Ultimate Deck section - Updated Set Battles section - Updated Monsters section Comments: I revised the whole FAQ plus I updated a few of the sections. Story ||| The story for this game really isn't the best one but I'll try to explain it the best I can. Here we go. One day you just pop up and you find this can. You find out that this can create monsters if you put gems in it. The type of monster that comes out it based on how powerful and what type the gem is. Anyway, you come across a little guy called Hot Joe and the story begins. As you monster get stronger, you will enter tournaments and face your archrival, Cool Joe. Although this is a Pokémon like game, it varies from it allot. First, selecting from a map of locations to go to while, in Pokémon, you move around from a "birds eye view" perspective. The monsters resemble animals like foxes, dinosaurs, and there is one that looks like an old man. ^^ For those wondering, there are 60+ monsters in this game and plenty to chose from. To get them all, you'll have to trade gems with your friends. The attacks aren't monster specific like in Pokémon. Instead, you pick from several unique attacks, in the form of gems, to put in your deck. They range from throwing rocks to throwing poop. Yes, poop!! (More on this deeper in my FAQ.) ||| 3. Walkthrough ||| Here is the walkthrough for the Lil' Mosnter game. It's highly recommended that you play like I described it. I know you probably don't like to here that but the way I did it is the easiest way. To look for more information on items and places, check the sections after this one. | Prelude | As you enter the game you'll see a red bouncing guy around in front of a hurt monster. His name is Hot Joe. As you continue to enter the story, you'll pick a name for yourself and then a monster. The can that you found can turn gems into monsters. When picking a monster, choose a gem and it will go into the can, and out comes a monster. Here is what you'll get with each gem, what type they are, and what they look like: Kick: Marion - Spades - White/blue cat Nail: Tongo - Clubs - Blue dinosaur Needle: Makmki - Heart - Orange/brown thing with a beehive (or something) on his head Punch: Elias - Diamond - Looks kinda like a red teletuby Heal: Cupee - Heart - A blue dolphin Catcher: Pocky - Diamond - Orange cat Be warned that the gems that you are picking from are part of your deck that you will be battling with. Unless you really want Cupee, don't pick the Heal card. Heal will be very important to you when you start. Your probably wondering what the diamonds, heart, spades, and clubs have to do with anything. Well, this is how it goes, Spade creatures are weak against Diamonds, Diamonds are weak against Clubs, Clubs are weak against Hearts, and Hearts are weak against Spades. That's how it goes. Then you'll enter your very first battle. It will be against a Hebo of the heart type. This is gonna be really easy but it is a good practice that let you get used to battles. You'll also gain a little experience and gain a gem. After the easy battle, you'll hear about Hot Joe's brother, Cool Joe. After that......the game begins. | Getting Started - Welcome to Can World!!! | Time to get started. Hit A and go to the move option. DON'T search the Tan Fields yet because Cool Joe will be there to fight you and you're not ready for him yet. You'll now see the few places you can go. But first you should go to Olive Town. A little red guy, who works at the Gem School, will be there and he will take you to the Gem School. There he will tell you the basics of the game and ask for money when your done. Too bad you don't have any. ^^ After you got the information you need, head back to Olive Town and search the area. You'll find two empty cans. You can use these to get other monster to open new areas or give you money. These happen based on the monster and item you give it. Right now you should start experimenting with 'set' option to start fighting other monsters. | Earning Some Money - $$$$ | I know you already tried to go to Goods Shop and try to buy stuff but were low on money or just didn't have any. Unfortunately, you gonna have to work hard for it. Here is how you can earn some money. Go the gem part of your menu and select set. You'll see one card, probably Clutz, pick it and you'll enter a battle with a Hebo. This time Hebo isn't that easy because he'll actually try to fight back. After each battle with Hebo you'll gain experience and gain a Clutz gem. This goes for every monster you fight except you'll get a gem and experience based on the monster you fight. You should experiment with each gem you own because the more battles, the more different monsters, and the more gems you'll get. With these new gems, you can increase the attack power of your monster. I have a list of all of the attack gems in my Attack Section. (Scroll down further in my FAQ) Plus, you can sell these gems to gain lots of money. This is just a beginning tactic of making money. If you lose a battle, your monster will die. (More on this in my raising Your Monster section) Anyway, selling gems isn't the only way to make money. If you have been giving monster items, like you should, you should've opened up lots of new areas other than Olive Town. Here is a list of the games that can make you the most money: If you managed to open up Aloe Lake, you can play the Fishing Game. To play this, just go to the area in Aloe Lake, use a batter, your monster will do a dance, and an old man will come out of the building. He will ask you if you want fishing job and when you say 'yes', you will enter the game. You can make lots of money here. The MiniCar Game and Gem Rock are location where you can win a variety of things like money, gems, or other various items. For more info on these games and the other games, check the Places to Go section. | Testing Your Skill - Time To Fight >:) | Right now you should be 'setting' battles so you can enhance your monster's deck and overall power. You should be doing fine but don't move on too quick though. This is because you are battling weak monsters and getting stronger gems thus getting stronger monsters. You might end up fighting a monster too strong and it might end up killing your monster. I know you don't wanna see that happen. Good gems to put in your deck in the beginning levels are Kick, Headbutt, and Heal. You can also get some good gems at the arena plus a little money. Try entering League C. It costs 10 coins to join because it's little leagues. You can easily build up the power of your monster with the gems you get in this league. NOTE: If you don't want to lose your monster, save before you set battles, enter an arena league, or when you fight Cool Joe. When you feel your ready, you can fight Cool Joe for the first time. He is in the Tan Field that you weren't supposed to go in. Now it's best that you go there to fight Cool Joe and win. Here is some info and strategies to beating his monster: >> Tan Field << He uses Gyro and his deck is kinda powerful. He uses Healx4 and GemWaves allot so try to hit Gyro with everything you got early. This shouldn't be that hard since his HP is only at 200. After you defeat him, you'll need to search the area to get a NonSeed. After the fight, it's time to move on. | Finding The GemChips | After you've opened many of the surrounding areas and battle many, many monsters, you should now have a good feel for the game. It's time to accomplish the main part of the game; collecting all 5 GemChips. This isn't an easy task but we'll have fun doing it. Note: You'll have to give monsters items in order to get to some of these places. It's best if you do it the same way I did. One GemChip can be found at the very top of Mt. Coral. Set a battle and you have a chance of fighting your clone. He'll use the same EXACT deck as you so use your skill to beat your own deck. Cool Joe will also be floating around Mt. Coral so be ready for a fight as well. Here are the stats and strategies for the monster he'll be using: >> Mt. Coral << After his defeat at the Tan Field, Cool Joe will now use Argon. Its HP is at 400 and it is of the clubs type. His deck is a lot better this time so be careful. You should have some Healx4 or at least some Healx2's by now so beating him should be no problem. If you search the Mt. Coral area, you'll find a Shuriken and some Coral. At the bottom of Mt. Coral, you'll see a sign. Use a MiniCar here and your monster will do a little dance and then you'll enter the MiniCar game. It is a very simple game. To play, all you do is press A to wind the car, and, depending how much you wind your car, the car will move. If you wind it up too much, then your car will crash and you'll lose. This makes your monster very sad. If your car comes up short of a prize, you'll get another chance to get a prize. The grand prize of the game is another gemchip, so try your best and be patient. Next, if it's open, move onto the Pin Desert. Here you can find two GemChips. One of them can be found if you keep picking at a thorn bush. You will be taking damage for each thorn you pull so be sure your pet can take it before trying. There is a portion of the desert that has a whole in it. There you can plant a Nonseed in the whole and with a little watering, it will turn into a flower. You can get a Nonseed in the Tan Fields, which you can fight, Cool Joe, and you can find the water at Aloe Lake. To get water, just use an empty can, and use it by the lake. We got 4 now, the last one is found at Aloe Lake fishing game. Go to the area, in Aloe Lake, where you can see a building in the background. If you have a battery, use it, your monster will do a dance, and an old man will come out of the building. He will ask you if you want fishing job and when you say 'yes', you will enter the game. You can also find batteries lying around Aloe Lake. If get allot of fish with the worth of about 80+ you'll get a GemChip. | I Got All 5!!!! | Once you've collected all of the GemChips, save, and then come to the Arena. Hot Joe will start talking to you and explaining things about the GemChips. Eventually, Cool Joe will come and you'll have to fight him. >> Arena << His deck and his pet are a lot stronger this time. He uses Kromar of the Spade type and it has the HP of 800. This battle will be kinda hard but if you have Healx4's and a few Reflects, you can beat him with no problems. When you win you'll get 80 experience, 100 Coins, and the MtrDrv gem. After your fight, you will watch a mini-scene, and you are sent by Hot Joe to follow Cool Joe up to Spiral Wood before he can get the gem. A new location will open up which is called Spiral Wood, even if you win or lose the battle. On the World Map, it is located at top of The Arena. You can see Spiral Wood from Mt. Coral. | Spiral Wood - Last Fight With Cool Joe | Once you enter Spiral Wood for the first time, you have the choice of entering Spiral Wood or going back to Can World. Once you get to the top of the Spiral Wood, you'll meet up with Cool Joe. He'll turn the gem at the top and turn it into Gizmo and he'll want to fight you. >> Spiral Wood << Gizmo's HP is at 900 and he is the Star type. Since Gizmo is a Star type, he has no weakness. The best thing to do is have 4 Reflects in your deck and at least 2-4 DragonScales in your deck. This will be the hardest battle because Gizmo's deck has at least 2 HiSpeed's, 2 Reflects, and 3 DragonScale's in his deck. Not to mention his other highly damaging attack gems and his Healx4's. If you manage to win, you'll 50 expirence, 40 coins, and a Star Gem. If you lose, you monster will die, but you'll always have the chance to fight Cool Joe again. Just climb back up and fight him. | You WIN!!!! | When you do win and collect your prizes, he declares you as the best and that's it with Cool Joe. Chances are you'll NEVER see him again after this fight. He claims he'll go back to the circus. As you continue to move to the last level of Spiral Wood, you will see the credits while watching you monster walk the beach. At the end you see a mysterious hand, who's hand is it??? Congratulations, you've beaten the game. You can always return here to watch the credits anytime you want. (Maybe you can figure out whose hand that belongs to) ||| 4. Places to Go ||| This part of the walkthrough names all the places you can go in the go game. Just remember, in order to get places, your gonna have to give items to monsters. Based on the monster and the item, and a little luck it will open up a new location to you. --------------- Arena --------------- This is where you get to battle other monsters depending on the league you pick. You can't use any items and each battle is right after the other. You should save before you decide to join one of theses leagues, just in case. Each gem is the same after each successful win so you can stock up on the gems you really want. Here are the leagues, the cost to fight in them, the monsters you fight, and the prizes you get when you win: >> League S << It costs 100 coins to join. Expect to fight the hardest of monsters in this league but it will be worth it. Monsters: Here is a list of monsters, in order, that you will fight. There is more info in my Monsters section on their prizes. Copini - 250 Club, Patran - 300 Spade, Tak - 300 Club, Ferio - 330 Diamond, Pakkum - 400 Diamond Grand Prize: Reflect (Get 4 of these in your deck!!) >> League A << It costs 50 coins to join. This league is a lot tougher than anything you've faced so far. Be sure you have some of the vital cards like Healx2 or Healx4. On offense you should have headbutt and a few swords in your deck. Monsters: Here is a list of monsters, in order, that you will fight. There is more info in my Monsters section on their prizes. Mule - 130 Clubs, Guran - 200 Spade, Isarmi - 150 Clubs, Rob - 260 Diamond, Macron - 270 Heart Grand Prize: Bio >> League B << It costs 30 coins to join. Once you've mastered the C league, it's time to move on. I suggest coming here after you've defeated Cool Joe for the first time. Monsters: Here is a list of monsters, in order, that you will fight. There is more info in my Monsters section on their prizes. Tongo - 120 Club, Prop - 220 Club, Elias - 110 Diamond, Isakro - 360 Heart, Kelly - 360 Spade Grand Prize: Spade Killer >> League C << It costs 10 coins to join. This is the little league. You can easily build up the power of your monster with the gems you get in this league. Monsters: Here is a list of monsters, in order, that you will fight. There is more info in my Monsters section on their prizes. Hebo - 100 Heart, Pocky - 100 Diamond, Loocer - 100 Heart, Libby - 100 Heart, Makmi - 110 Heart Grand Prize: Headbutt >> Cool Joe at The Arena << Once you've collected 5 GemChips, save, and go to the Arena. Hot Joe will try to revive a monster but Cool Joe will try to take it and you'll fight Cool Joe again. His deck and his pet are a lot stronger this time. His pet is called Kromar of the Spade type and it has 800 HP. If you lose, a new area will open. I got lucky because I beat him in one round with two reflects out. ^_^' ------------------------------ Sprl Wood (Spiral Wood) ------------------------------ Special Item(s): Beef Can & Diet Jam Once you enter Spiral Wood for the first time, you have the choice of entering Spiral Wood or going back to Can World. Once you get to the top of the mountain, you'll meet up with Cool Joe, Again. He'll turn the gem at the top and turn it into Gizmo. His HP is at 900 and he is the Star type. Since Gizmo is a Star Typeno Gizmo has no weakness. The best thing to do is have 4 Reflects in your deck and at least 2-4 DragonScales in your deck. This will be the hardest battle because Gizmo's deck has at least 2 HiSpeed's, 2 Reflects, and 3 DragonScale's. Not to mention his other attack cards and his Healx4's. If you manage to win you'll 50 experience, 40 coins, and a Star Gem. If you lose, you monster will die, but you'll always have the chance to fight Cool Joe again. Just climb back up and fight him. The last level of Spiral Wood contains the credits. You can go there anytime and you can watch the credits. --------------- Gem Rock --------------- In order to get here, you have to give a monster an item. I gave a Hebo an empty can and this place just popped up. Anyway, this place is where you can gamble your money and win a prize. Here are the rules: You have to roll the dice to move around. Whatever you land on is your prize. You have to press A to stop the dice. The game guy explains it really well. It's 10 coins a game so I'm sure you really want to play this a few times. All the prizes are in random locations but, in general, you can win gems, coins, or food. --------------- Mt. Coral --------------- Special Item(s): Coral, 1 GemChip As you give more monsters items, more places become available. I gave a Prop a minicar and this place became available. You will have another chance to fight Cool Joe here. There is also a minicar mini-game to play at the bottom of the mountain, next to the sign. One of the prizes of this game is a GemChip so try your best. Also at the top, if you set a battle, you have a chance of fighting your duplicate. He'll use the same deck as you so use your skill to beat your own deck. After the battle look around, you'll notice that the scenery has changed. In the background you'll see Spiral Wood. There is another GemChip in the background so don't forget to get it. --------------- Este Salon --------------- This is where your monster can exercise to lose some of that extra weight. It costs 10 per exercise. You should keep in mind that a monster that doesn't weigh much attacks faster and a monster that weighs a lot attacks slower. --------------- Aloe Lake --------------- Special Item(s): Batteries, Ticket, Aloe All I found were batteries and a ticket at night. At daytime I found some aloe. The ticket and the battery are the only things really important. You use the battery at the house to play the fishing game. The ticket lets you play Jacks Game. --------------- Pin Desert --------------- Special Item(s): Corn Can, Beef, 2 Gemchips, NonSeed The items, which can be found in Pin Desert, are a corn can or a beef can and plenty of thorns. Don't think the thorns are bad, if you keep picking at it, you'll find a Gemchip. There is a portion of the desert that has a whole in it. There you can plant a Nonseed in the whole and with a little watering, it will turn into a flower. If you haven't noticed, there is another GemChip to get. --------------- Jacks Game --------------- You must use the ticket from Aloe Lake to play this game. This game lets you trade your old gems for better ones. It's really simple game of guessing but whenever I play, I feel kinda ripped off. This is because I put down three or four gems and he only puts down one. He doesn't keep the gems you put down. But he moves those cans sooooo quick, it's almost impossible to see where your gem went. --------------- Fishing Game --------------- This game can be played at Aloe Lake. Go to the area, in Aloe Lake, where you can see a building in the background. If you have a battery, use it, your monster will do a dance, and an old man will come out of the building. He will ask you if you want fishing job and when you say 'yes', you will enter the game. To play this you press A to speed up your boat and there is a net that will go with you. Eventually you'll run into some fish to catch with the net. You have to manage your speed to catch the fish. After time runs out, depending how much and what type of fish you catch, you will be given money. You get 1 coin for each small fish, 3 coins for each medium fish, and you get 10 coins for each large fish. If get allot of fish with the worth about 80+ you'll get a GemChip. --------------- Tan Field --------------- Special Item(s): NonSeed, Orange Here you can find a NonSeed and an Orange. You can also fight Cool Joe here. If this is the first time you fight his Gyro and his deck is pretty powerful. He uses Healx4 allot so try to hit Gyro with everything you got early. This shouldn't be that hard since his HP is only at 200. After you defeat him, you'll get a NonSeed, when you search the area. --------------- MiniCar Game --------------- This is a pretty fun and simple game. To play this game, you'll first need a MiniCar. Once you've gotten one go to the bottom of Coral Mountain, where the sign is, and use it. Your monster will do a little dance and then you'll enter the MiniCar game. To play, all you do is press A to wind the car, and, depending how much you wind your car, the car will move. If you wind it up too much, then your car will crash and you'll lose. This makes your monster very sad. If your car comes up short of a prize, you'll get another chance to get a prize. The grand prize of the game is a gemchip, so try your best. ||| 5. Raising Your Monster ||| In this section, I describe everything that relates to your monster. From keeping it fit to keeping it happy and full. - If you want to change your monsters name, check your monsters stats. Then hit start at the first page and you will be able to change the name of your pet. - If you walk away from your Gameboy while playing Lil' Monster, there is a chance that your monster will fall asleep. When your monster is asleep it will lose love points. You can wake it up anytime so don't worry. I noticed that my pet gets mad when I wake it up, so you might lose even more love points if you wake it up. - When your monster reaches a new level, it raises your monsters love and HP. - You have a slow monster?? Well bring it to the Este Salon for some exercise or put it in lots of battles to lose some of that extra weight. - My monster doesn't listen to me!! If this happens, then you must increase the love rating of your pet. You can do this by giving it items. Coral or Jelly is the best items to give it because they increase your monsters love to 100%. - I don't like my pet and I want a new one!! To get a new pet, you must kill your first one and then pick a new one from one of your gems. The new monster will be based on the monster you got the gem from. - I killed my pet but I miss my seeing my old one. If this has happened to you, just check your Picture Book. The Picture Book can be checked at from the main menu when you start up your Gameboy. - What it really comes down to it, level doesn't really matter. Yes it determines your HP but you should really focus on building a powerful deck. ||| 6. Items ||| This section is a list of items you can find throughout the game. Name Item - Cost Location: Function Crane/Canary - Free Location: A monster might give this to you or you might get it at the Mini-Car GrandPrix. Attacks ||| This section describes all of the attacks in the game in alphabetical order. Yes the WHOLE GAME!!! Attacks come in two types: Circle and Square. These are then put into a deck of 20 and, when in battle, used 4 at a time. | Circle Gems | These gems are the most common and the most used in a gem deck. You have to select them to use them unlike the square gems. Some of these gems heal, do damage to enemies, and just do nothing. You'll know what they look like by the circle next to the name when you in battle. Bio - Makes enemy lose -10 and forget their attack Catcher - Slashes an enemy Charm - Stuns an enemy for a turn Club Killer - Does lots of damage to Club types Clutz - Extremely weak attack, useless Combat - Changes enemies attack to death. When enemy picks the 'death' attack they -10 of their hit points. Combo - Uses to gems to attack at the same time Diamond Killer - Does lots of damage to diamond types Dragonscale - This attack does all the damage done by the opponent back to them Drowser - Attacks enemy repeatedly, all your gems are reshuffled Flash - Paralyzes for one turn Gem Wave - Changes all opponents gem attack Hammer - Hammers the victim Headbutt - Very powerful attack Heal - Heals 50 points of damage Healx2 - Heals 100 points of damage Healx4 - Heals 200 points of damage Heart Killer - Does lots of damage to heart types Hi Kick - Stronger version of kick Kick - Regular attack Life - For each of your turns, you get +10 to you HP MtrDrive - Hits enemy with a meteor, very good attack Nail - Stabs an enemy Needle - Stabs an enemy Poison - Poisons an enemy doing -10 damage each turn Poop - Hit an enemy with...ummm...poop. Not very damaging Powder - Confuses an enemy, sometimes does damage Powerful - Heals +200 HP Punch - Regular attack Plasma - Powerful beam attack Remedy - Cures ailments like poison Rocker - Hit your opponent with a rock, above average damage Spade Killer - Does lots of damage to spade types Spinout - Powerful tail attack Sword - Hits the enemy with a sword, highly damaging attack UHF - Sonic attack Vampire - Drains enemy or HP and give you the HP taken from the enemy Virus - This attack does damage to your monster XLaser - Very powerful attack but also damages you | Square | Square gems are the best but have to be in your current hand to be used. Be aware that you don't have to select them for them to work. If you do decide to use them, you monster will attack the enemy, and do 0 damage. The symbol for Square gems looks like a diamond next to the name. Clubs Block - Reduces damage from club attacks Club Change - Allows you to change your type to Club during the battle Counter - When attacked, it does damage back to opponent Death - Causes you to take 10 damage each turn and 10 damage when you select this attack Diamond Block - Reduces damage from diamond attacks Diamond Change - Allows you to change your type to diamond during the battle Dream - Does -10 damage to an opponent each turn Heart Block - Reduces damage from heart attacks Heart Change - Allows you to change your type to heart during the battle Helmet - Increases defense Hibernate - Gains 50 HP every turn High Speed - Increases attack speed Min Hand - ??? Building the Ultimate Deck ||| So you want to build the ultimate gem deck but need a little help??? Here are a few tips for the cards to have in your deck and not to have in your deck. | Basics | By now you should know that you can only have 20 gems in your deck but you can't have more then 4 of one type. When picking the cards for your deck you should consider a few things. If your monster is slow, you should put 3 or 4 HiSpeeds in your deck or if your monster is a lightweight, 1 HiSpeed should be enough. Be sure to know your monster type and weaknesses. Spade creatures are weak against Diamonds, Diamonds are weak against Clubs, Clubs are weak against Hearts, and Hearts are weak against Spades. Here is my recommendation for a deck: 4 Healing gems ex: Powerful & Healx4 4 Defensive gems ex: Shield & Helmet 4 Enhancement gems ex: HiSpeed & Life 2 Disrupter gems ex: Poison & Flash 6 Attack type gems ex: HiKick & Sword NOTE: This is only my recommendation. You can play around with this and maybe you can make a better deck than I can. | On the Offensive | These are cards that are a must in your deck. You don't have to put them in your deck but it is highly recommended that you chose some of these. Sword - Does lots of damage MtrStrike - Probably the strongest attack in the game DragonScale - Does LOTS of damage when used at the right time Headbutt - Does decent damage | On the Defensive | Here are some defensive cards that I feel that you should consider in your deck. Healx4/Powerful - The most powerful healing gems. Drowser - This benefits you by changing all of your gems. Reflect - The most powerful defensive card because if, you have 3 of these out, you can reflect 3 times the damage done to you back to your opponent. | Causing Some Chaos | These cards are for messing up your opponent while you hit them with your other gems. GemWave - Shuffles up opponents gems but doesn't do damage Poison - Poisons enemy Stun - Paralyzes and does damage Combat - Probably the best gems for messing up your opponent. It does damage plus changes your opponent's gems to death, doing -10 damage. | Enhancements | These cards enhance your own monsters abilities. HiSpeed - Dramatically raises your speed. Helmet/Shield - Increases defense | Others | These cards are the ones that don't fit in a category but don't forget about these. Type Changes - Changes your type. Star Change is the most effective. Type Killers - Does massive damage to opponent of a certain type. You should have a few Drowzers as well. Type Blockers - Blocks certain types. | My Deck | 4 MtrDrve 2 Sword 1 Vampire 4 Reflect 4 4xHeal 2 Dragonscale 1 HiSpeed 2 GemWave Here is the deck that I roll with. Since my monster was a lightweight, I didn't need allot of defensive cards because I can hit an opponent a few times before their first turn. It took a while to get these cards but it was worth it. | Stun Deck | 2 Charms 2 Life 2 Gem Waves 4 Combat 4 Vampire 3 Poision 3 MtrDrve With this deck you can stall the enemy until you can either poision or deal damage to them. With the vampire cards you can steal energy from them and laugh as their life goes down and yours continues to go up. There are no real healing cards but Vampire and Life should be enough. This deck is all attack and stalling but has little defense. | Slow Monster Deck | 3 MtrDrve 3 Hi Kick 2 Dragonscale 4 HiSpeed 2 Sheild 4 Healx4 The Slow Monster Deck is for slow monsters. Due to their lack of speed HiSpeeds are used to speed it up and Shields are used to increase your defense. If your Sheild doesn't help, you'll have Healx4's to fall back on. MtrDrive and Hi Kick are very strong attack gems that should do massive damage to your opponent. The Dragonscale gem is added just in case you start to lose and have no other options. | Immunity Deck | 3 Rockets 4 Plasma 2 Remedy 3 Reflects 2 Sheild 2 Star Change 4 Powerful The Immunity Deck is for people who want a lot of defense and not a lot of special attacks and such. As you can see most of the cards are for defensive purposes like Sheild and Star Change for type immunity. The Powerful gem will provide 200+ points of healing when needed. There is not much on offense exept Rockets and Plasma attacks. The monster that goes best with this deck is Tak. Combine him with this deck for the best results. ||| 12. Cheats ||| These are the codes that you can use with your Game Shark. Be warned these codes can make the game too easy. USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
