INTRODUCTION ******************** I this part of this FAQ, I will tell you what the main objective is to the game. It's not that hard to beat the objective, but is hard to get all the secrets in the game. The mayor will give you three years to turn around a wrecked and junked up farm that is located near the border of the village. There is a lot of work needed on the farm and your the only person that could make the farm lively again, but this is an really undefeatable task to do. You will also need a ton of confidence and hours of hard work to make the farm lively and clean again. The neighbors will help with your work a little bit, but you have to be nice to them and give them presents. Can you be the ultimate farmer? Will you ever clear all of the land and grow hundreds of crops? Those are the questions that will be going through your head. ******************** V. THE BEGINNING ******************** When you first turn on your Gameboy, or Gameboy Color, you see a boy and a girl walking together with cows, sheep, chickens, and chicks following behind the boy and the girl. After that, you get to choose if you want to start a new game, or continue a game, Erase a game, and Copy a game. If you start a new game, you get to choose if your going to be a male or female(Both work equally hard). After that, you have to pick your name, but the most your name can be is four letters long. After you pick you name, You get to choose the season and day your birthday is. After that, you pick your pet type. Dogs will chase off wild animals that could scare your animals and/or destroy your crops. Cats will bring home some items every once in a while, like coins, seeds, etc. ******************** VI. THE SHOPS ******************** Unlike other Harvest Moon Gameboy Color games, you can walk all around town, but, like other Harvest Moon Gameboy Color games, when you enter a shop, you can't walk around, you only get to buy stuff. The seven shops are the blacksmiths, the library, the carpenter, the restaurant, the floweriest, the hospital, and the ranch. Their are two other houses, and one of the houses I know is the mayors house. The other house is the church. To get this game, hoe around your fields as much as possible. At the end of Spring, your hoe should break. Bring it to Will and he says he will fix it for free! After three days have passed, pick up the Golden Hoe and then head back home. Hoe around the fields until you get a message saying, "The moles have taken over!" The next day after you get the message, go to Will's shop and you can buy the Mole Bash Game for 3480g. To play the game, turn on your television and then the television will ask what you want to do, watch the weather station or play games. TOOL UPGRADES ******************** (More is soon to come) ******************** VIII. THE PLACES ******************** Their are four different places you can travel to in the game. These are, the town, the town square, your farm, and the mountains. Each place has it's own uniqueness. THE TOWN- In the town, their are seven shops that you can visit. Their is also the mayor's house and the church. Their are always a couple of people wandering around the town (except at nighttime). THE TOWN SQUARE- Their is not really much in the town square. Their is a bulletin board that tells you some news in the town, but that is really about it. Also, some people do wander around the town square and they are eager to talk to people. YOUR FARM- Your farm is pretty big compared to most of the other places. The buildings on your farm are, your house, the horse stable, the cow stable, and the chicken house. In your house, you have a TV and your bed. The horse stable is where your horse sleeps, but you can't walk in the horse stable. The cow stable is were your cows are kept. The chicken house is where your chickens are held. To get to where you actually grow crops, you have to go inside either the cow stable or the chicken stable, and in the back in both of them, their is a door. Behind the door are the fields and there are tons of boulders, weeds, and stumps in the fields. Their is another place where you can grow crops on your farm too!!! Go down to the bottom of your farm and you can grow crops along the river. You can go fishing in the river and catch different kinds of fish. Also, the secret garden that is in the lower left hand side of the farm keeps track of how many power berries you have ate. If you ate two, there will be two flowers in the secret garden. THE MOUNTAINS- In the mountains, you can collect different kinds of fruits and mushrooms. You can also chop some wood there if you are short on supply. If you keep going farther up the mountains, you will find a hot spring. You can jump in the springs and relax. While you are relaxing in the springs, you are also gaining more strength so you won't be as tired. It is a good idea to go to the springs if you are tired and out of strength because it will restore some of it. ******************** IX. THE MAPS ******************** There are so many maps I have decided to add a section for it. Well, I already explained everything in the PLACES section, but it was a little confusing so I am deciding to draw a map everything to make it less confusing and so you can understand it.
